Back during Act 1 and Act 2 we’ve covered the list of those characters that can earn Amateur Bucks, well now it’s time to take a look at who’s joining the party for Act 3!
This is a list of characters/buildings that have Amateur Buck earning tasks to help you earn more of those precious bucks! This will not include all the ways to earn Amateur bucks. This is simply just showing you how you can earn even more Bucks for your skills…

You’ll see some temporary jobs popup throughout Act 3 that will also earn you bucks, but they’re temporary and only part of a questline. So once completed they won’t show up again…
And remember…you can send a character on a task and they can still play Tap Ball.

What? Those are NOT the tasks I have for ballet Ralph…I was logging in to see if anyone else was disappointed that the skin didn’t come with any outside tasks. I’ve got “practice tap ball” (4 hrs, 4 AB) and “spin around” (24 hrs, ? reg. cash). There’s another inside one that I don’t remember and can’t even check right now because since the update, in order to play my game I have to restart my phone EVERY TIME 😡
I did the un->reinstall business yesterday, which took HOURS because Frontier. Seriously, download speeds in my whole neighborhood yesterday were 55-85 Kbps!!! And that’s when there was a connection at all…it’s somewhat improved this morning, so maybe I’ll be able to have another chat with EA.
You’ve got to do his questline to unlock ALL of this tasks.
Oh yeah, his questline never triggered. I had everyone free, closed/opened the game, turned my phone off/on (of course)…nuttin.
But at least I can get on the interwebs today. I’ll deal with it this afternoon when I get back home from the lake 🙂
I have to say how much I love CBG’s new animations…some of my favorites so far.
And thanks for anwering, Alissa. It must be kinda frantic in AddictLand…EA seems to favor piggybacking events and updates and limited-time-dealies. I hafta wonder if they’re trying to out-pace you guys so everyone panics and drops bundles of cash for things like the Murderhorn…

It’s a little hectic, but we don’t mind 😉 Still trying to just pump everything out.
Currently 2nd out of 100 players, 1st place is 30 or so wins ahead, but they play 3 times per day compared to my 6 (alarm during the night). so it’s possible I can catch them before the event is over (not that the friend leaderboards mean anything other than bragging rights)
A bit late, but keep your last player unupgraded as 3 rounds won means you win the match, you save a lot of money this way
Also, half stars give the full bonus bucks of a full star
Got the old crazy cat lady, and after her first 12hr task it unlocked the amatuer buck tasks! Woot woot. Thanks for helping me decide, her animated tasks are fun. Hehe. Now got Ralphie, which rounds out my teams to 3 exactly for playing tap ball!
I wish there was a tap dancing Lisa skin, too, so she and Ralph could tappa, tappa, tappa together!
Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but I was wondering if someone can tell me why some of my neighbors stadiums are brown and green? As opposed to white and yellow. I really prefer the brown and green version and was wondering how to get it! Thanks in advanced!

The crazy cat lady skin never unlocked for me 🙁
That’s because it’s not a skin. It just unlocks her ability to play Tap Ball. If you don’t have her nothing will unlock for you. But there’s no skin etc for her.

I have crazy cat lady, I earned her skin but I can’t use her! Could it be that a character that I have on the 24 hour quest kicks of her quest line?
There’s no skin for her first off. It just unlocks her ability to play Tap Ball and the extra task. Generally you need to complete her questline to use her for Tap Ball
I misspoke. I know she looks the same. She’s like Ned. Anyway, she is unlocked. I am still wondering, who kicks off her quest line? Lisa? All of her tap ball abilities are locked to me and I haven’t been prompted for a quest like the other characters.

The first 12 hour quest unlocks her ability to play tap ball
Not to labor the point but she is not on my players list (Ralph is) and her turbo tapping tasks are locked. I have not been prompted to do anything with her but I thought she would at least show up on my tap ball players list! Lisa is an hour from finish her 24 hour task. Hopefully she’ll kick off CCL like she did in the original walk true when I first got her.
At this point if you completed the questline and she’s still not doing anything, contact EA let them know. Could be a specific glitch with your game.
I agree with the post above. I’m jonesing for Crazy Cat Lady. Is there ever a donut sale in the summer?
I’ve only ever seen 1 besides Christmas and that was may 2013 and I haven’t seen one again.

I keep getting notifications that someone has dropped a ball in my town but when I look I have no balls in my town, I play all the time and log in nearly every 4 hours during the day
They’re delayed, so it could have been a drop from hours ago
I discovered something interesting on this. I have a friend. Okay, this friend is me. I friended myself. And I’m my only friend. (In other words, I set up a second account and that account has one single friend.) While visiting my friend (neighbor visit) I saw two balls (haha) bouncing around. I thought that odd because that should require me to send my friend those balls.
I logged into my “friend’s” account and it said I sent my friend a ball. I didn’t. I looked around the (2×3 size) town and no ball.
So, my discovery is that EA lies to us. They pick a friend at random (in my case, my only friend) and say a ball was sent from them. They even lie as much as to say there are balls when there are not. (Note: My friend hasn’t advanced enough in Tap Ball to get fans or balls, so maybe there are free balls flying around sent by EA. That I can’t confirm.)
Well, maybe EA is just acting like a good administrative assistant who buys and sends a birthday present to his/her boss’s spouse, because he/she knows the boys it’s likely to forget to do it him/herself! 😉
Has anyone had any problems with the prize icon? It doesn’t open up for some reason.
That’s been happening more frequently through the event…now maybe it happens every 2 of 3 times. I just have to close the app, then restart.
Sometimes I have to go to my friends list and then back.
It happens to me every time I sign in. If you go to the neighbor screen and back home it will open up for you.
Yes I was for a little while but if I just went to krusty land or visit my neighbours then go back to Springfield it would work.
Happened to me a few times, but if you go to your neighbor screen, or K-Land, and back again, usually fixes it.
So, does Crazy Cat Lady get a new skin, or does the unlock through daily tasks just enable her to play tap ball? I was considering getting one of the premium characters that we’ve unlocked through daily tasks, but it looks like Tatum and Jasper are the only ones that got a skin that can be used after the event.
I’ll say this…the “bowl a cat” task does make me sorta want CCL 🙂

Oh well. Guess I’ll hold off and use my donuts for Herb later…learned my lesson a while ago when I first started and got premium characters so I could use their skin. Thought the skin increases their premium payout, later learned it’s basically decoration for said character.
I’m amazed I’ve become such an addict, today I found myself saying “nooo why am I going away this weekend, I need to tap to get the daily training and pennants and bucks and everything before the event ends”
Take a device with you. Addiction is portable!

I just noticed that the shoes Ballet Ralph is wearing are anything but ballet shoes. Is EA getting sloppier with the outfits?
One of his tasks is tap dance.
Although, Ralph could be wearing football equipment and think it’s ballet gear.
I don’t know why they called him Ballet (I had brought this up in another thread) when this outfit is from the tap dance episode. Tappa-tappa-tappa!
Then he’d be called “Tap Ralph” and isn’t the game called “Tapped Out”? He’d be super special. Okay, yes, they should have done that.
