Hey hey tap ballers! In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?
So with the Tap Ball Event, all sorts of new stuff has appeared in our games. Our fifth Act II prize is Tennis Marge. Of course, long-term tappers know this is a skin that’s been in the files since October 2013 so I guess EA finally found a reason to add it in. I’m not complaining… it’s a cool addition and it let’s me write about a fun episode. Let’s check out the Best. Show. Ever. to find the origin of Tennis Marge AND the Tennis Court.
“Tennis the Mennace” (S12:E12)
I think the title says it all friends. An episode about Tennis. The Simpsons play tennis and not just anywhere, but on a court they have installed in their back yard. Homer went through a long drawn-out sales pitch to purchase funeral arrangements for his Dad just to buy a regulation tennis court courtesy of the salesman mentioning one. It makes the house look classy just like Sir Mel Brooks’ home and does wonders for their social life.
It may not be foxy boxing but apparently lots of folks in Springfield are in to tennis. Lenny, Carl, Brockman, Stephanie the weather girl, Wiggum, Lou, Burns, Smithers, Moe, Barney, Krusty, Sideshow Mel, the Hibberts and the Lovejoys.
Unfortunately Marge and Homer aren’t too good at tennis… well, Homer isn’t. People make fun of their lousiness instead of the game bringing the family a little respectability. Homer enters him and Marge into a doubles tournament but Marge decides to enter with Bart instead (he’s much better). Marge’s outfit for the tournament is what we got in TSTO.
So Bart and Marge bond and Homer is angry. Homer teams up with Lisa to enter the Krusty Kharity Klassic and it’d Daddy/Daughter vs. Mom/Spiky-Haired Devil. Homer and Venus Simpson are very good.
Yeah that’s right… Homer drops Lisa for Venus Williams. Marge takes Serena Williams to make it fair. When Marge is dumped for Pete Sanfras and Homer by Andre Agassi… the family decides to stop the nonsense. The Lesson? “It’s better to watch stuff than do stuff.”
So that’s it my friends. We have the option of adding tennis courts to the backyards of our Simpson homes for 30 donuts and Beautiful Tennis Marge finally in our games. What do you think of it all? Earn Marge’s skin yet? Buy the court and place it somewhere neat-o? Sound off and stay classy like Sir Mel Brooks friends.

Since you don’t have a post on it yet, I hope you don’t mind if I post this here: I paid 8 donuts to doped up the Daily Training and get the Crazy Cat Lady … but she hasn’t appeared in my town! Is something still to trigger, or did I understand it wrong? Would be a terrible waste of 8 hard earned donuts!!!
There’s nothing to get. You don’t actually get Crazy Cat Lady, you just unlock her ability to play tap ball. In order to use her you’ll actually have to purchase her character for donuts.
Aaarrgghh – so I actually have wasted 8 donuts!!! It wasn’t that clear!! :-(((

I’ve been waiting to buy upgrades to my stadium hopeing they would lower the prices like they did in the last event. Since there’s only 2 days left I’m thinking they’re probably not going to do that.
Unlocked Homerclese and on my way to my first round of bonuts. A little smaller than I’d hoped it’d be, but I arranged the patio sets all the way around it and added some potted trees to make a little eating area outside the arena. Also added some benches and expanded my board walk. I think my arena/kids zone area is complete! It includes the mini putt, Testosterzone, Noiseland, Knowledgeom, Toy Factory and Moon bounce. I guess I’m just goin for the bonuts now, and crafting one more triple bleacher.
Though I’m not a big fan of Skins – I do like Tennis Marge. I kinda want the Kent, Wiggum, Krusty and Smithers outfits (throw in the weather girl, why not)
I also recall Marge playing Tennis in a Homer delusion (wear Kernel Klink showed him what her life would be like without him) – or maybe I’m getting multiple episodes confused.
Wow! I just got a glitch where all the characters began moving backwards while doing outdoor animations!!!

Is anyone else having no fans regenerate? I’ve seriously only had 10 in the last 24 hours. There’s no way I can get the homer statue-and I’ve been checking everyday.
Try hard closing and restarting see if that helps…
I wish we had got some more actual separate freemium characters out of this event rather than just skins or premiums ones, but at least Marge is a character I don’t already have a ton of outfits for.

I’m struggling to think of an episode that I like less. Even the clip shows are better than this one! But isn’t it great that we’re all different?
