Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The Tap Ball Event released a TON of new items into our Springfields. Everything from stores and statues to stadiums and obstacle courses! So let’s take a look at how these new and returning items impact our Conform-O-Meter…
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the Tap Ball event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a bunch of buildings and decorations. So let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:

I earned alot of items in tap ball. My phone shut off on its own due to low battery
The next morning when I plugged it in, it said that I needed to update, so I did. After that tap ball was gone……Springfield was gone, Squidport and aii the stores were gone, Krustyland and all buildings gone. I paid ALOT of money to get some of the items. All the Pride trees and stuff for 4th of July gome. I was right back to the beginning of Starting a new Springfield. Had to do another download yesterday, and once again I lost my donuts. It is hard enough to earn them just to have them repeatedly disappear. I have spent a lot of time and money, and it makes me very angry to lose it all. This is the second time I have lost donuts. The first Springfield was an origin game, now it is just through my FB. How is this going to be resolved? I love the game but one more 6hr download, and loss of items will be the end of playing. Please fix these problems. I would love to be compensated for my losses in someway. Please patty

It’s been days since Tap Ball ended. I know that because I keep getting “daily win” awards, about 2 or 3 of them past the event end time. How long have people been able to stay on the previous update in the past?
EA’s timing with the new SH is maddening for me. I’m missing out. I’m trying to keep as spoiler free as possible. This was the only thread I could enter. lol. I’m just earning bonuts (and whatever fences I earn enough to buy). I figure that’s more worth it than starting with the expansion right away. I’m not missing out on anything by not starting day 1, right? It’s a long term thing, I presume.
Half of my friends have updated. I’m down to about 35 that still have Tap Ball activated. Actually, I’m not sure if some of them are even there. They might have abandoned TSTO or taken a vacation (as I heard one person state on here) after the event ended.
The extra time has allowed me to finally get the KBBL friend prize so I can earn 16 more AB at a time. I know…totally useless now, but it makes me feel an iota better that I didn’t completely miss out on using that. Other than that, just waiting for the forced-update until I start up level quests and of course the new SH stuff.
i haven’t downloaded the update, am still going for one last stadium light (still a few hundred orange dollars away), getting nervous though that at any moment it may shut me out and force me to update.. therefore losing the ability to even pay the donuts to just get the dang thing. any idea if there is a time frame to tie up loose ends in tap ball ? it said it was days ago but mine keeps going *fingers crossed*
Nope…you’re playing at your own risk at this point. When the force update happens, it just happens.
It’s kinda nerve wracking(sp?). But since I’ve completed all questlines, it’s all bonus from here. *continues to bite fingers*
I really enjoyed the Tapball event. I think that the amount of time required for daily tasks was fine, although I did have to rush a couple of tasks because the total time required to do them was 20 hours, and I need more than four hours of sleep!! I also liked that the timed tasks began when you first started the tasks and not in the middle of the night. There was plenty to do to keep busy, yet not so much that I felt overwhelmed. I earned all of the individual prizes, the timed task prizes, and, like everyone else, the community prizes. I did buy a couple of sections of bleachers and fences, but that was all of the improvements to the stadium that I made, and I didn’t buy any premium items because I didn’t have the doughnuts to spare.
I will have to say that I found this to be my favorite event so far, after almost two years of being a highly addicted Tapper! There weren’t really any ridiculously long tasks, no rigged prize wheels, no having to be awake at midnight or 4am in order to start the day’s timed tasks, no being on a pink or blue team…..I was really impressed with how this event was set up! Kudos to EA!!
Now on to developing Springfield Heights!! 😀
So does anyone interact with the stadium now or is it just a big decoration? I’ve got everyone busy in Springfield Heights now, so I ahaven’t checked to see if any of the Tap Ballers still have jobs there.
Homer has a task there (outside of it, but it still lights up the sign) to invent new rules
well, today is Thursday and I seem to be stuck in a weird place. Tapped out game side game of tap ball seems to have ended some time ago and everybody appears to have updated and moved away from it but I’m stuck in the tap ball and cant update. the good news is I’m still able to collect pennant and have had several bonus games and earned donuts. But I’m afraid that I’m stuck in this game and missing whatever is next. They keep playing and getting more bonus donuts which of course I can use? Or try to figure out a way to update the program which I can’t seem to do?
You have to download the update from the App Store. So check your App Store and see if the update is there to download. That will remove Tap Ball.
On the point of a breakdown here 😫 After all the hassle yesterday of games crashing etc. It logged me out of my game. I can’t remember my password and no longer have access to the email address I was using so can’t use ‘forgot password’ option. I was level 54 and had my Springfield just right 😢 Anyway around this problem please. ?
No.
You need your password to log into Origin. You need your email if you can’t find your password. There’s no way to reset it without one or the other. All I can tell you to do is contact EA and see if they can help you. But honestly, without one or the other it’s doubtful.

Thanks. I’ve started another Springfield now but I’m just soooo peeved because of the new Springfield Heights now being available 😕 Never mind only another 21 levels until I can access it 😔 x

You can always try contacting EA, see if they can get you in. Tell them you don’t have that email anymore, see what they say.
