Springfield Heights 101: Pharm-Er John’s Pharmaceuticals

Hey there Hoppereenos!

With the New Springfield Heights in our games, there are a lot of lil details that I am sure many of your are trying to figure out.

One of those being the “Storage” Capacity and Character Tasks that take place within the New Buildings. Tasks to help you gain Material Items needed to unlock New Land as well as other Buildings.

In this post I will breaking down the Pharm-Er John’s Pharmaceuticals.pharmerjohns_menu

First up, some Basic details.

Land: You are going to have to work at this. That is fine. It is meant to take a LONG time as it is here to stay. Much like Squidport. No rush needed. So it may take you some time to earn the appropriate items, gain Storage, gain Materials, gain Real Estate… all to be able to unlock the Land surrounding the following Buildings. To get an idea of the shortest/cheapest route to go in order to get to each one, use the Land Map Guide.

You can find the Land Map in the post HERE.

You can find some tips to gain Real Estate HERE

You can find the Funiture & Coffee Shop Details HERE

You can find the Institute of Technology Details HERE

You can find the LA Body Works Details HERE

Now on to the Building…

What do you think of all this? How many Buildings have you unlocked? How many Characters? Like that they used mostly Freemium Characters for tasks and just a few Premiums? Let us know.

  1. I am fairly new to game. Patty and Selma aren’t listed here. I was just wondering what their time and reward is after I unlock them.

  2. Ryan Jokumsen

How do i get more pharmaceutical storage. Ive been trying everything i can think of anf obviously still not getting it. HELP!!!!!! This is getting very frustrating.

  3. Im stuck with 14 yoga mats, is the only way to get it with bart?

  4. Bart will increase your storage once you unlock him 🙂

  5. To get the pharmaceuticals building, I need 15 mats, but the most I can get with Moe is 10. How do I raise the maximum for the mats?

  6. Now when im over 100M in REV and got bunch of resources near the limit iv got so many tips for people startimg fresh that it would require guide of its own.
    Bottomline is take it easy.

  7. Anyone else’s game ask for a total install this morning? Started with updates and now doing the full ~650MB… what a pain. 2nd time this has happened in the last 3 months and I never get a good server connection for a smooth download. Anyone know what causes this?

    • Could be your lack of connection or something in your device. In the 3+ years I’ve been playing on 3 separate brand devices, the ONLY time I had to complete reinstall is if I uninstalled the app from my device or cleared out completely cache/data

  8. Every time I see someone commenting about grinding mats for SH, I keep thinking that Lunch Lady Dora (Doris?) should be able to help out, since she’s experienced at that! 😉

  9. I’ve noticed in my town that wandering characters, whether untasked or tasked with a job that involves wandering, don’t cross over into SH, making the streets of SH bare and relatively lifeless. Except… my space mutant who is on a RAMPAGE! somehow ended up in SH, and he has stayed there for days.

I don’t know whether this is something about the space mutant in particular, or pure chance, though I suspect chance. I’m tempted to see if I can lure more characters to SH by moving buildings for which they have related jobs into SH, assigning those jobs, then assigning “wandering” jobs thereafter.

In the long term, it seems like the game will have to be updated to allow wandering characters to pass through the tunnel to SH and back naturally from time to time. Unless part of the wealthy neighborhood vibe they’re going for is the bare-streets sense that real people just don’t live there.

    • They do pass through there, just not too often. But the same is true of Squidport, too. I don’t get a lot of characters visiting Squidport unless they have tasks there (or very nearby). The exception is Legs (or Louie?), who swings by there when he’s collecting tributes.

    • FWIW, in my town Kang and Dr Colossus have wandered over to Springfield Heights, despite having no tasks there.

Since all three characters are green, perhaps they’re envious.

  10. Is anyone else completely neglecting their main springfield? I’ve been sending most characters on 24 hrs quests just so I don’t have to deal with them while I’m trying to upgrade buildings and unlock character tasks and get my new area organized. It drives me crazy having my building’s in disarray. :-/

    • 4kidsandacatdog

Yup…I’m a little more attentive with the tasks, mine are on 12 hour tasks…when I remember to even send them!

Actually I’m redesigning my Springfield because I placed some “old” buildings in Springfield Heights and now I have to move stuff. So far I’ve placed Wolfcastle’s mansion, Fat Tony’s Compound, Kane Manor, Burns Manor, Quimby Compound + pool, El Chemistri, Vulgari, Spiffany’s, Writers Building and Burns State Prison. There are many other building that fit better in SH than in regular Springfield, but I’m a freemium player so those are all I have, and I’m putting a lot of work into redesigning everything.

  11. I will still use the characters that give you 2 crafted items even when I’m grinding mats and coffees and pills. At least it’s better than none coming in, and it uses minimal amounts of your resources so if you are in for a while grinding you can still stockpile what you need 🙂

  12. I gotta say, I’m tapping my brains out. Have all the land and have only 2 buildings left that aren’t level 5 and I’m at 130million. I can see 200 million in my grasp.. however I’m feeling a little put off if I have to upgrade 10 of every building to get to 1 billion ….rhat would truly be ridiculous. …any thoughts? Thanks

    • Just that it’s meant to take a while…so pace yourself. It’s ok if you don’t hit 1 billion until December..there’s no prize for finishing first. Pace yourself and remember to have fun

    • Yea, unfortunately to hit the billion mark you’re going to need to level up almost all 10 of each building. Sure you can work around this and buy hundreds if not thousands (I can’t do the math) of jet skis. But the fastest, easiest way is leveling up. And don’t be dumb like me and upgrade all of them. I badly want my inventory to disappear so I can have the rock climbing high rise back. I’m very annoyed that you don’t have the option to rotate through and choose the level you want once you’ve upgraded. Like the Radioactive Man building.

  13. Same here. I’ll buy 1 or 2 while supplies build up.

  14. I’m beginning to think 200 maximum storage isn’t enough, especially for resources that you need to make other resources.

Meanwhile, I’ve unlocked Pharm-er John’s and all the furniture-locked land. Apart from jet skis and palm trees, is there anything else I can spend furniture on?

    • Lots of stuff… fences, walls, four different palm trees, two different small plants, the beach front escalier, the Springfield Heights gate? Nope… nothing lol.

  15. After two business ctrs went missing from my inventory this morning, I noted another five business ctrs missing right now.

A level 1 deluxe condo also becomes level 2 by itself in the inventory. I planned to have a level one for diversity.

    Something strange is really happening.

  16. Just a quick tip for anyone stuck – sometimes it helps to put off the higher demand resources, like Pills, & Statues, and concentrate on building up a decent amount of Coffee, Yoga Mats, and Smart Devices. At least I found that this worked for me. As well, I concentrated on unlocking all the characters first, mostly because the more characters you have working, the faster your resources build up. Hope this helps!

    • Agreed. I put off statues for now and am grinding mats and pills. Got all the freemiums running and have purchased all the land but mats and pills!

    • kimberlyah794

I’m following a similar strategy and it’s working nicely. 🙂

    • If you have Bumblebee man (or the other premium chars) you might make use of the two for the cost of one and slowly build them up while grinding everything else.

And even at max capacity I’d have one person less on statues than on pills since you can’t make enough pills fast enough to keep up with statues unless you are starting with a surplus. I hated having one person always several minutes behind the others due to having to wait for pills.
