Hey there Hoppereenos!
With the New Springfield Heights in our games, there are a lot of lil details that I am sure many of your are trying to figure out.
One of those being the “Storage” Capacity and Character Tasks that take place within the New Buildings. Tasks to help you gain Material Items needed to unlock New Land as well as other Buildings.
In this post I will breaking down the Springfield Heights Theater.
First up, some Basic details.
Land: You are going to have to work at this. That is fine. It is meant to take a LONG time as it is here to stay. Much like Squidport. No rush needed. So it may take you some time to earn the appropriate items, gain Storage, gain Materials, gain Real Estate… all to be able to unlock the Land surrounding the following Buildings. Now on to the Building…
SPRINGFIELD HEIGHTS THEATER
The Shortest/Cheapest way to get to Springfield Heights Theater is to purchase the plot of Land ABOVE the Furniture Shop for 3 Furniture
. Then once you got the Coffee Shop Unlocked, go to the Right to the 6 Latte
Plot. Then Up into the Institute of Technology for 6 Latte. Then once you have the Institute of Technology Unlocked, Up into the 15 Smart Device
Plot. Then once you have LA Body Works Unlocked, Up into the 30 Yoga Mats
Plot. Then once you have Pharm-Er John’s Unlocked, the 15 Pharmaceuticals
Plot under the Springfield Heights Theater.

Now that it is Unlocked, let’s look at the Basic Stats…
Starting Storage Capability: 10 Hollywood Trophies
Characters Available to Unlock: Bumblebee Man, Kent Brockman, Krusty, Agnes, Herman, Wolfcastle
Starting Characters (Unlocked with Building): Bumblebee Man, Kent Brickman
Task Time: 20 Minutes

Like the others, some pretty short tasks. So do as many as you can to keep gaining the amounts to continue going. In the meantime, let’s take a look at WHAT you will need to Unlock the Character Tasks in the Springfield Heights Theater. The more you Unlock, the higher the Storage goes up, the more you can progress in the game (as you will need those higher amounts for Land, Buildings, Decos, etc).

As you can see, some of the items required to just Unlock the Characters Tasks will come from other Buildings. Just more to show you that this will take time. Unlocking Land, Upgrading, Unlocking Buildings, and Earning Materials.
You will also notice that you will need Materials too in order to just send a Character on a task. 2 Smart Device & 2 Pharmaceutical Pills each.
This is the last New Building in the Area.
There you have it. An overview of what you can do as soon as you Unlock a Building along with what to look forward to as you progress through Springfield Heights. Just take your time. No hurry. Enjoy the New Area.

thanks, not a lot then (for now) it seems, just a gold mailbox and some building upgrades, as far as i can tell, oh well. Ooooh monorail….
i still can’t find where this theater comes from in the show O_o
I am soooooo silly… I upgraded a condo and reached 28.200.000 xp so I was able to unlock Cletus, whom I just sent out for a 24h job by force of habit…
So in a reflex I stored away Cletus’ Farm to unlock him again… and then I realized…. In 3 days it would have been corn harvest day…. AAAAAAAAAGHHH 😀
(and I do need more yoga mats to unlock the Hilbillie anyway…) :'(

My condolences. You’re a much better sport than I am…if I had done that to myself, no way I would have been able to include a smiley face when talking about it. It would have been just the sad face and probably the red, fuming-mad face for me!
Oh but I typed this after a necessary cool-down hahaha. It’s just a game, but still…
I discovered something interesting: the buildings (condos, etc) could towards vanity points too! I tried to store a bunch and my overall stars went from 4 to 3 1/2! I took out a few condos until I got my 4 star rating back. I haven’t seen vanity points mentioned as being part of the buildings but I guess at least some of them do. No idea how many points, etc.
I’m up to Pharm-er John’s, just unlocked Dr Hibbert. I have big plans for Springfield Heights, including a park and moving the mansions from Springfield into the new area. I just gotta keep tapping away to buy the land 🙂
I haven’t even bothered to unlock Herman or Wolfcastle yet. I don’t find that I have that much demand for statues at this point that can’t be met by the other characters and I’d rather save the pills which I do need.
i was locked out of the game yesterday and when i tried to get back in, the intro-video started and my city was gone. it was weird because the origin-id on the start screen was correct. What do i do?

I’ve already unlocked all the building and bought all the land except for two beach parcels. And I don’t even have the Lake Springfield yet! I’m hoping the next update will bring us more currency bringing items as I find it quite boring to just have 10 of each of the luxury building, villas etc.
Buying land doesn’t increase your REV (nor does unlocking the crafting buildings, I think, but I don’t remember for sure…). To increase your REV and get the lake, etc., you’re gonna need to get and upgrade at least some more of the buildings and/or buy some more decorations. But that doesn’t mean you have to make the buildings all identical… The mansions can be arranged in a variety of ways (check out your neighbors for ideas) and, if you’re not in a hurry to get to max REV, you can have the condos at varying stages of upgrade (which is what I’ve done).
But I agree with you that I’m hoping for some new REV-earning stuff to come along, so I can eventually get all the REV prizes without having to compromise the aesthetic of my Springfield Heights!
You can also do what I’m doing, which is buy and upgrade multiples of the same buildings… And then store them.
You get the money added to your total, and don’t have to have a bunch of identical buildings on display 😉
Still… I’ve built everything and max upgraded 1-5 of everything and am not even at 300mm yet. I think EA overshot on those prize totals a bit :-/
Nope, its just that modern and classic mansions bring the most of the cake somewhere around 650m, and than you can upgrade half of every other type of building to level 5 and be over 1bn to get the last item. Im only at 200m just by upgrading 2 modern mansions on level 5 and other buildings on avg lvl 3
