Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Now…enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right? Time for another Open Thread!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So…here is your Open Thread. Level 56 was released last week, what do you think of all the Daredevil items? Did you pick up Springfield Gorge? Some recent spoilers/speculation hit from EA last week, what are your thoughts on the teaser? When do you think it will hit? Sunday Night Baseball tonight features the Dodgers at the Pirates, will you be watching? Anything fun planned for today? Do anything fun yesterday? Personally I’ll be spending the day down at the Jersey Shore…enjoying one of the few free weekends my husband and I have this summer.
So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, Update fun, or anything else you can think of! Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we love hearing from you!

Sort of a random question.. and I feel I know the answer…
There is no way to go back and get stuff from old events is there?
When the monorail event first started Mr Burns popped up with a building that would turn sea life into track pieces or something. I ignored this initially to continue with the storyline but now can’t find this building anywhere…
Was this a 1 off offer (very strange idea) is it missing due to a glitch? Does anyone know what the deal is?

Woke up today thinking I’d do another 10 projects to get bonus donuts, only to find the icon gone from my menu bar. Did I already collect too many donuts, or is it gone from everyone, or am I just glitched?
Everyone seems to be hitting this glitch today…wait and see what happens tomorrow. If it doesn’t come back I’d contact EA monday morning.
So, I am posting a question because I have not seen anything on any thread about this. My question is, “Should I get the make metal / complete projects donut bonus past the second bonus?” I got two sets of two bonuses, but yesterday and today I did not get a ‘Part 3’ or ‘Part 4’ to complete for more donuts.

Hey, Tot – don’t know if you’re still checking this post, but I kicked someone out this evening, like I said I would, but when I tried to accept you, it said you were full. Did you fill my slot? Let me know when you want me try again… I’ll keep that slit open for you for a couple of days at least.
I was just looking through items to buy for Krustyland and in the information icon instead of saying “goes toward your kitsch rating” or whichever, it says “Watch for Vandals” or something similar.
What does that mean??

I’ve just spent ALL of my money buying up the new land.
I do like the monorail event but not keen on Sprinfield Heights at all, the buildings when completed are really ugly, so they will probably go into storage or at the back of the town. Wish the upgrade arrows would stop prompting then I would leave them at level 2 or 3 at the most, if they generated money or stuff it wouldn’t be so bad.
I really must organise my newer buildings in the main part of town as they’e just being dumped in a free space every time I get a new one.
It would be great to be able to view the whole town to get perspective on a large screen and be able to rearrange,
View from across the pond : loving the monorail event . Reminds me of being 5 again and playing with my new Flying Scotsman train set on Christmas day .
Wishes for the event : More stations , enough track to go right round my Springfield , more carriages for the train or another train .
Any one else got any wishes for the event ?

Since this is the Open Thread, can I ask why my comments are always “awaiting moderation”, but I see other people post things after me? Does that prevent other people from reading/replying? Or am I just seeing that message, because they are my comments? Just curious…
It is called have patience. (Read our Addicts Guidelines). What YOU see is not what is going on behind the scenes here nor what WE see. We are bouncing all over. Multiple people trying to answer. Both me and Alissa working on helping. So… I may be in one area and her another. It does not mean your are being ignored. Just wait. We will get to your comment when we get there. Remember, we are humans too and have to take breaks and work our real jobs too in between our sites and massive Events going on. 😉
All the comments you see may have been submitted long before yours anyway. So… in short. Wait. Patience.
Thanks! And sorry…it wasn’t meant to be a criticism, just more of a curiosity thing. Lots of times that doesn’t come through in a text message. I’m just glad that a site like this exists, and I’ll stop asking stupid questions, so you have less to sift through. 🙂

I have got some great neighbors off the Open Thread threads. They always visited. Sadly, I haven’t seen many of them since before the Tapball Event, but they are playing daily. I don’t want to delete people, but I can’t have that many not visiting. I visited ALL my neighbors last night. I am going to watch for a few days. If I don’t see you, then I will have to delete you.
I have to admit that I’ve actually missed doing my visits once or twice this past week…honestly, things have been a bit crazy IRL and my time in the evenings has been more limited. I do try to visit daily, but sometimes life does get in the way. Do with me what you will.
Sandra, i wasn’t referring to you. I am speaking about those who haven’t visited since before Tap ball or only a few times since 🙂

Cube, maybe? Haven’t heard from him in quite a while, but he’s been active enough to keep his town in okay shape for visiting neighbors…
yeah etamni is gone indefinitely, said if you wanted you could remove him from you neighbor list, no hard feelings. i kept him on mine though just in case he returns. and i think the other one you are thinking of is ehutt, who removed everyone from his/her neighbor list because they weren’t planning to ever play again…. due to life responsibilities or some such nonsense… 😉
I also have kept etamni on my friends list awaiting his return to the game. Hopefully, it will be soon.
I kept Etamni too. I do see Cube stop by 1-2x a week and the Tape brothers oh and Sandra 🙂

Vandalising is back and I got hit once last night and three times this morning, twice by someone I thought I could trust 🙁

Me too. I’ve been hit 3 times so far today. So frustrating. I feel like maybe folks forgot their no vandalism pledge. I wish we could disable it.
Once you and your neighbors are into the event, it won’t matter, since it will be garbage- only, with no opportunities for vandalism.
Heads up! Ability to vandalise, and be vandalized has been turned back on in TSTO. One of my buildings just got hit.
I need help recovering missinig donuts! I bought a Golden Scratch-R and won 50 donuts but was only given 32. What do I do?

Should Brandine’s kids be showing up in my census list? She had the kid, Cletus told him he has to earn his keep, but now I cannot find the kid anywhere and he is not in the list at town hall.
