In honor of our 2 year blogiversary we asked you guys to tell us a little more about yourselves. We wanted to learn more about who you guys are & what your tapping habits are & we wanted you guys to learn more about each other! (we’ve done this a couple times in the past as well) And, as always, you guys came through and we learned some interesting facts about you!
We were completely blown away by the number of responses we received to the poll & even more blown away by the stats! So I’ve been tinkering away t compiling all of the data and putting it all into fun graphics and charts & now the time has come to share those results with you! So let’s break it all down shall we?

Once again Duffman is your favorite and Chester is your least favorite (and it’s not even close with Chester. He’s overwhelmingly your least favorite premium combo)
Yet again you guys chose Dr. Nick as your favorite and the Funzos as your least favorite. (seems you hate those Funzos more than Chester!)
And again…your Favorite is Duff Stadium (mine too!) and least favorite is Try-N-Save…
Knocking Stonecutters off of the top perch. Stonecuters did come in second though…but it wasn’t even close, 29% to 15%.
Looks like you guys are still hating on that Easter Box with the infamous Mystery Boxes…

I love that most of you have been with us from the start, or close to it! It means a lot to us that so many of you have stuck around for the last 2 years!

Love the stats! Great presentation, Alissa. My fave character is Bumblebee man. He never fails to amuse me when he’s running from bees or trying to fly (at least I think that’s what he’s trying to do)
The monorail event is the best so far but I’m definitely not going to have enough tracks to get around my town. I have visions of it weaving through the whole town, across to SH and back again!
Oh, and I absolutely love this site. It really adds to the enjoyment of the game.

Why do you guys hate the Easter Event? It was a lot of fun.
Too random. Getting all the prizes was really hard. A lot of us ended up with more fences than they needed.
At the time I despised those fence, now that they’ve become a design staple in my town I wish I had more
I adore this site and love these polls, but I will say that it would be nice to include a third gender option for people who are genderqueer, genderfluid or otherwise not considering themselves as a member of either standard gender. It may be the case that nobody would choose that option, but I have friends in this category and it’s always good to see them thought of on forms and in surveys.
OK. I’m a 62 year old unmarried (widowed) dancing fool of a woman who lives in New Jersey (hi, Alissa!) with my unwatered plants and my 2 white bunnies. I work in the entertainment industry. I started playing on an Android tablet during the Valentines 2014 event. I didn’t understand a LOT about the way the game worked (mostly the importance of neighbors), and fortunately found this site shortly thereafter. Got all my wonderful neighboreenos here. I’ve watched The Simpsons religiously since it began on The Tracy Ullman show. I’m a hybrid premium/freemium player…I’ll buy something if I really like it, but I pass on a lot of things. I never rush anything with donuts. I actually liked Easter of 2014, won everything but Fr. Sean (who I’ve learned to live without) and Shary Bobbins (who I didn’t care about). My least favorite Event was Clash of Clones. Didn’t care about any of the prizes, didn’t like the gameplay. I chose Stonecutters as my favorite, maybe because it was my first big event. Loved the riddles, and got some great buildings in my then tiny town. I’ll never buy a funzo, but now I’m intrigued by Dr Nick. I love Duff Stadium, the Bowlerama and The Aztec. And I love being part of the Addicts community…while I can’t friend you all in-game, you’re the best group of international neighboreenos anyone could ask for!

In response to Ryan’s comment about all the Stonecutter tasks being indoors – with all due respect, that’s just not true.
There are 10 outdoor tasks among 6 Stonecutters:
Burns takes a dip in the money pool
#51 phones home
sings the Stonecutter Song
Jasper paddles Homer
Wiggum sings the Stonecutter Song
Krusty sings the Stonecutter Song
Homer sings the Stonecutters Song
walks around being The Chosen One
wears the Stone of Triumph
gets paddled
That said, I agree, it’s disappointing that only 6 out of 20 Stonecutters have outdoor tasks but many of the outdoor tasks are pretty amusing.
True I Love #51, that and the pyramid with the eye were great. But I really see Wiggum, Burns and Krusty as the only skins worth it. Jasper requires Homer and how often is he free? So I don’t really count that one. But Carl, Lenny, Hibbert, etc are worthless. They may be premium, not sure but it’s been a long time since I’ve cared about $/XP
The only beef I have with the stonecutters event is that I wish the stonecutter feast table was longer so more of the characters could have the “sing the stone cutter song” instead of just 4 of them.
12 hours of nap time for everybody else instead kinda sucked..
You know.. .. you should add the best and worst premium decoration to your questionaire. I will bet there are some “wish I hadn’t spent my donuts on that” and ” you gotta get that” items.
My favourite so far is the gun that shoots down the alien ship. I fire it off almost everytime I play.

I started playing sometime near the beginning and convinced the other 2 to join me! I started out feemium but find myself buying more donuts to get the characters and such recommended by tsto. I missed out doing that in some of the earlier events ( as i hadnt found tsto at that time) and regretted it. I was so happy to finally get the two horned unicorn that barfs rainbows! Before tsto I had spent my freemium donuts to buy that useless police dog. Boo.
I’ve been an addict for about at least a year. I believe I found you some time around the stonecutters. And thank goodness I did! I check every day since and I’ve recently been more involved than reading. I love seeing what other people have to say too!

I didn’t like the stonecutters. No. 1 is a disappointment. No outdoor tasks. I don’t use any of the skins except Homer’s once in a rare time as he has so many better skins! From Easter I got the flying bunny and the special egg among the things others have mentioned.

I’m a 30+ working lady, married w 2 cats tapping on my iPhone at work (shhh) and iPad. Started tapping in Sept 2012 and started reading Addicts in…? I thought it was Whacking Day but I guess not!! Must have been Halloween 2013. This place is so homey feeling and everyone in the community contributes to that. No one in my real life plays tsto so you guys make me feel welcome and sane. Or at least as sane as Bunny! 😛
Although I am a freemium player and may never have it in my town… I want to share my love of the ‘Try and Save’ and thank all my neighbors who have it… on the rare occasions when that building is animated I seem to find endless amusmement watching those little rides go…
I filled out the poll, but for intros sake…I’m Chris (female), 49 (eek) and in the UK. Been playing since the game began, on iPad. At first I wasn’t that hooked having come from an Everquest and WOW addiction I missed people interaction. At one point I didn’t play for 6 months – which I regret now as I missed some stuff that has never been repeated (Kodos). Originally a freenium, I now find myself more and more spending when I really shouldn’t…The addiction really took hold when I found this blog, by accident when googling an in game issue ….never looked back. For long time I just read, as you all seemed to be US, but lately I post more as there’s a bigger mix of countries now – and I always always come looking for new neighbours from here – after the inevitable clear outs – one thing about these events it really shows up who’s no longer playing! Thanks for all your hard work, been great getting to know you all, and best of luck with the spuckler! (By the way, did anyone get their missing spuckler yet???)

Got my missing Spuckler kid this morning. I had also asked for and got my donuts back yesterday. Hopefully you will get your Spuckler soon.
I didn’t even see the post. It shows how much my life has changed in the last 2 months. For about 9 months I literally had the site open constantly and never missed a post.
Shame, I’d’ve liked to have given my input.

I would like to change my vote. I voted for worst event Easter 2014. I actually loved that event, Sherry Bobbins, Hugs Bunny, Father Sean, Blocko Store, Johnny Fiesta, all great items. It was those random boxes that ruined it. I just remember buying doughnut after doughnut trying to get Sherry in the last for hours. Instead I vote for Stonecutters. It was fun and I was excited to see it but in the long run it was just a bunch of skins. If each character had at least one outdoor job they would have been cool. Instead they’re all indoors. I nearly always have my characters visible and personally I love skins to add variety. The only time I send characters on indoor tasks is when the building has cool animation, the Lodges open door and torch just don’t cut the mustard. I would love to see No 1 walk around my town.
Any of you guys on periscope? Would be a good way to do a q/a. Just a thought.
I forgot to complete this year’s poll; I too am over 55; Live in Australia & am female. I play on an ipad. I’ve played TSTO since inception of the game in my A town; & inherited my daughter’s unwanted town as my B town during the horrid Easter event. (That event was so bad she gave me her town as she didn’t want to play anymore!)
My most hated premium character is that horrid white bunny that mutates or multiplies! I bought it in both my towns mistakenly thinking it was needed to advance the Matt G questline & have regretted it ever since. I reckon EA owes me the donut price on that one! LOL!
Is it my imagination or are there more of the things since the monorail event started? They seem to be everywhere in both my towns & when you tap on one accidentally it takes you across town to the cocoon thingy. Annoying is the best word I can use for this character without using an expletive! I have Chester in my Premium town & he’s a darling compared to that bunny!

I think the cocoon thingy you’re talking about is the transporter. I love mine, you got 2 in one purchase (wish I had more). You can place them anywhere you want and instantly get across town without having to scroll. It was released with an event but I’m not sure which one.
