Due to POPULAR request….we’ve moving up our open thread time so that our friends outside of the US can participate too! Let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Now…enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right? Time for another Open Thread!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So…here is your Open Thread. The Monorail Event hit our devices last week, what are your initial thoughts on it? How’s your tracking coming? Have big plans for it? Sunday Night Baseball tonight features the Angels vs Royals, will you be watching? Preseason Football has started, are you watching your team? How are they looking this year? Do anything fun this weekend? Have anything planned for today?

Something may have been posted and I missed it. I haven’t seen Craig, Jebus or the Tape brothers stop by in awhile. Anybody???
I am having a terrible time getting into your Springfield. I sometimes have to close the game, turn off the device, turn it back on, do a hard restart on the device. Sometimes after doing that I still can’t get in and then sometimes it will only let me in if I use the “backwards” arrow in the upper left corner for advancing friends. Very frustrating and sometimes I give up. It is about once in every three or four days that I can get in.
I have had the same problem with past neighbors. Not sure what causes it. Thanks for letting me know and trying. I wonder if others are having the same issue? I only have about 85 neighbors. I have about 5-6 that doesn’t visit daily. Maybe they are having the same issue.
i never claimed to be the best of neighbors or made promises to visit everyday, but it’s only been a couple days since i last went through my whole neighbor list. i remember the other weekend you threatened your neighbors to visit or you would drop them, and sandra felt the need to respond to let you know you were free to drop her if you so chose. i saved you the trouble and just dropped myself… never wanna end on bad terms with a former neighbor and commenter on here, but i’m not trying to get called out for not visiting daily or whatever it is you were expecting.
Tapebelt, I wasn’t calling anyone out. I don’t get in the feeds that often, so I was inquiring if maybe one of the ones I mentioned was sick, on vacation, etc. When I posted about deleting friends, I wasn’t speaking of you or Sandra and I posted as such. I keep track of who stops by everyday, so I don’t skip anyone. If you interpreted my post as “calling you out”, my apologies. I am not mad or upset. It was a misunderstanding. After Craig responded that he couldn’t get into my town, I figured that may be the case for others as well. Have a nice day!
@Sandra: First of all, I hope you’ll see this. Second of all, I just wanted to be sure, did you see that I replied to you? I apologize in advance if you did see (in this case, please don’t think I’m complaining); the reason I’m asking you is because my comment is below yours and Craig’s, even though I commented first. Have no idea how this happened, maybe it’s some WordPress feature I don’t know about?
I did see your post, and it’s been sitting in my email inbox awaiting a time when I have the time to respond to it properly. (It’s kinda like the Addicts’ moderation… Sometimes a post that was submitted way earlier will get answered later than some others that date submitted later,, because they need a more thoughtful response or research).
Things have been crazy for me right now, both at work and trying to get ready for vacation. I can’t promise I’ll get to responding today (i’m already WAY behind on the packing and bill paying that I need to do before I can leave on vacation tomorrow morning) and I will be traveling most of the day tomorrow, but I’ll try to get back to you once I’m settled in at my vacation spot and can find some Wi-Fi access.
