Friendship Level 17: Unlocking Bloodbath & Beyond

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers,

How are my favorite Addicted Tappers doing today?   Racking up those FP’s by visiting your neighbors?  Just a reminder, remember to help out your fellow neighbors and clear those handshakes!  Are you in need of more Tapping Friends?  Remember you can always find friends on our Add Friends Page (and here for ones who pledge not to vandalize you)…the best (and only way) to submit your Add Me requests on TSTO Addicts!

So with the Level 56 Update EA gave us the 17th Social Currency Event Prize…Bloodbath & Beyond!  An all new store for your Springfield!  So now my friends let’s break down this 16th Friendship Prize.  Just want to remind you all with this update it’s important to remember to SLOW DOWN.  There’s no rush to get the FP’s, so take your time and enjoy it!  🙂

Anywho…Bloodbath & Beyond is unlocked once you’ve unlocked the Angel Fossil AND earned an additional 2,000FP…so many of you have either just unlocked it or should be unlocking it sometime in the next few days (depending on how many friends you have).  So what happens when you unlock this store?  Does it do anything?  Are there tasks for it?  What about a questline?  Well let’s answer all of your questions by taking a closer look at Bloodbath & Beyond now…

bloodbathandbeyond

Once you’ve completed Friendship Level 16 and earned an additional 2,000 FP (by earning the addition 2,000 FP you will have completed Level 17, which awards the store) you’ll unlock Bloodbath & Beyond and you’ll see this message popup:

2015-08-10 17.11.45

You can also unlock this via Donuts at a rush rate 200 donuts if you have 0 FP.

Once you return to your Springfield you’ll find Bloodbath & Beyond in your Inventory. You will have to go into your inventory to unlock it completely.  It will not automatically be in your Springfield.

2015-08-10 17.13.27

Bloodbath & Beyond is another store for Springfield (it does boost consumerism by 10 points).  Much like other stores it won’t do too much.  It’s 3×7 in land space and it will also improve your Consumerism rating on the Conform-O-Meter.  It will also take 24hrs to build. Once placed (placed, not built) some dialogue from Cletus will popup:

Cletus: Every American has the right to bear arms….and bear legs, and heads, and tails, and any other animal parts they can gun down!

Once built it will earn you $225, 22xp/16hrs.

And that’s basically it for Bloodbath & Beyond.  No additional dialogue, no questlines and no tasks associated with it.  Pretty much just another building for Springfield….

Now that you’ve completed Level 17 and gotten your last Friendship prize, what’s next?  Well it’s onto Level 18.  What does that mean exactly?  Basically the same thing it meant before only a level higher.  You won’t accumulate more points (no FPs will pop out of buildings when you visit friends, or when you clean spray paint in your town, or when you clear handshakes in your Springfield)  instead EA has come up with a different way to encourage you to keep visiting your friends:

level6

Yes, that says TRIPLE the money.  Which means…you’ll earn $90 per friend interaction when visiting neighbors, or $270/neighbor.  Talk about a good way to earn some extra $$$.  If you have 100 neighbors that’s $27,000/day you can earn JUST from visiting your friends!  Pretty sweet huh?  Before you know it that Escalator to Nowhere will be all yours!

PLUS…FREE DONUTS!  Once you max out your FPs and unlock the last prize you’ll have a chance to win DONUTS every time you visit neighbors and tap, tap, tap!  So be sure to continue with those visits and earn those free donuts!

Well that’s in my Friends.  What do you think of Bloodbath & Beyond making it to the game?  Have you unlocked it yet?  Did you earn it via FP or did you spend donuts to get it faster?  Were you excited they added it to the game?   Sound off in the comments below…you know we love hearing from you!

  1. I earned BB&B today but it’s not in my inventory. The friend list screen says I’ve earned all prizes. I don’t see anyone complaining about this. I usually don’t have any problems with my game, so this is surprising it would happen to me. Anyone else?

    • Did you check every single tab? Including just swiping the main inventory screen to the left?

      • Yes, I checked all tabs, left to right. I just stored a building (the Homer King Kong building) and lost that but found it in the decorations tab, which I supposed makes sense since it doesn’t earn $ or xp? But no, the BB&B store is just not there on any tab.

  2. I would love this in my Springfield. It’s a long way off for me since i’m a FL 2.

  3. Watched the monorail episode yesterday. Just realized the Popsicle stick skyscraper, escalator to nowhere and giant magnifying glass, and the mutant tree also came from this episode!

  4. New quest line popped up this morning for the mono rail starts with Lisa! I know your asleep right now so I’ll say good morning to you but by the time you read this it will be good afternoon to me : D

    • lol yes I was sound asleep…I saw it when I woke up this morning but had to take my hubby to the airport bright and early. So now that I’m at work, i’ll play around with it 😉

      And good afternoon 🙂

  5. Bloodbath & Beyond – you can’t complain about a Freemium Building that a) generates XP + $
    b) goes swell with other Shops
    c) has a clever name

    🙂

  6. I’m not sure where to post this, but did anyone else have their extra donuts for recycling task disappear?

  7. At least it contributes to consumerism. Something I still don’t get with It Blows… I just think if it’s a shop that sells stuff it should always contribute to consumerism.

  8. I think Alissa would like this better if it was a Hospital called
“To Infirmary and Beyond!” …(you know, because she likes Toy Story Alot). :p

  9. I put Bloodbath & Beyond right next to Dr. Monroe’s Family Therapy Center.

  10. While the building itself is nothing special, my husband and I have always liked the clever name, and frequently refer to its real namesake by this alternate name!

  11. Goes very nicely next to Herman’s Military Antiques!

  12. I have a question about the random building animations that happen every so often. Does anyone know what causes them or how you can make them happen more often?

    • Usually either from Legs/Louie doing their 12hr task, BHL doing his 24hr task (i think) and there’s another one i’m trying to remember…but I know it’s at least from those guys.

      • Sometimes it seems to happen randomly, without any discernible cause. I scroll thru my town, collecting rent and – blam! – all the animations in the vicinity go off at once. Not just buildings, decos too. Like all the firework crates for example, and it just keeps going until you tap it, move it or leave the game. Not complaining, though, those fireworks displays are awesome 🙂

  13. I don’t think that I will be using mine. Given the issues with gun violence in our country, I am surprised that TSTO made the decision to create this store. It just seems a little incitful to me.

    • I think you’re missing the point – by its very name, it’s acknowledging (in a humorous way) the recklessly dangerous nature of unfettered gun ownership. After all, a “bloodbath” is a very negative thing – not something that any same and reasonable person would want to have occur.

  14. I had to earn a second Canyonero before I could earn the Angel Fossil. And previously I had to earn a second Stampy. And I can place neither of the duplicates in my Springfield.

  15. I just love this Game

  16. I feel like the game is freezing up ALOT. To the point where I’m not having any fun. I tried storing npc as suggested. Even tried freeing up more space on my kindle by deleting games/apps I’m not using much. Any other suggestions, I’m feeling frustrated! Any others experiencing this issue?

    • Believe the only other suggestion was storing the Monorail (trying to think back to the blog on the topic) Maybe that animation is too much for your device?

  17. To me this one seems a little provocative for The Simpsons/Tapped Out. I dunno, not trying to start a convo about guns but this seemed a little darker than usual for this game. Still, I’m sure my residents of Springfield Heights don’t mind having it around.

  18. I’ve seen it happened to others. I don’t like that the free donuts rate after maxing FP in the last couple of FP updates is really, really low (actually I don’t remember getting any after FP level 16)… :'(

  19. Quests completing themselves.. Ruining my perfect record of never sending home to try and score a free sequel, while sending everyone else to argue about sequels… Sigh.. This kind of behaviour kills the usefulness of sequel stop. Just a warning, if you keep unfinished tasks for a building to keep its animation alive – store that building as you could be next?

Good summary, thanks for all you do.

    • I hear that,
      don’t know what it means,…..
      but I hear it.
      🌃 🚝 🈹 🈺🈲🈳🈴

    • The Murderhorn did that to me this morning. I logged on and the dialogue that should come after I send Homer to climb started on its own. I never bothered sending him after I bought it. There was really no need (other than a few dollars and some XP) since it doesn’t really do anything. Not as big an issue as what happened with you and the Sequel Stop though….that kinda sucks
