Turbo Tappin’ Monorail Event: Jesse Grass

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s Monorail time in Springfield!  Yes, the Monorail is now in Springfield….as well as a whole lotta garbage.  Loads of Springfielders can help collect junk from town…but one vegan introduced to help increase your rewards is Jesse Grass.

Jesse Grass is a premium character you can purchase to help with the event.  He’ll cost you 100 donuts and if purchased he comes with his own questline.  For those of you that made the purchase let’s take a look at his short questline now…

  1. Today an Italian TV channel aired the episode where Jesse comes from and I had to tell you! 🙂
    Yes, I’m Italian ^^

  2. For Becky, whose concerned about Ray Patterson. I followed the quest line. The rewards were always 100 dollars and Xp. I am guessing you thought you 100 plastic as they are both green but unfortunately that is not the case. Sorry.

  3. I bought everything but the Krusty station to get as much track as possible (no regrets over getting Lisa’s cutie crush so far) but EA is killing me with all these useless, excess station piece packs, mini and curved pieces. A third of the way in, I’ve only got a quarter of the track I need just to encircle my Downtown (I feel sorry for people trying to lay track around their whole Springfield) Got my 1st two bonus track today- two curved pieces. (The number needed to get another bonus track climbed another 1000 BP’s! For what has to be a 66% chance of track being obsolete or miniscule.) I already have enough of those to complete my entire course! Another commenter said an EA employee he talked to reads this blog everyday, if that’s true- Hear Me EA, while I may not exactly be a whale- I’m not that far away, I’m a Matterhorn. And if I don’t start getting a lot more straight, long pieces in the next couple acts, so help me, I’ll show you what Will Congreve meant about a woman scorned.

    • *Murderhorn. Stupid auto-correct

    • Take my straight pieces!! That’s all I’m getting, I only have 3 or 4 curved ones and still no S pieces. I agree though those stupid mini pieces are annoying.

      • It’s like EA heard me, despite the ever increasing bp count needed, I’ve earned 3 more bonus track pieces since then and they’ve all been straight track, I might just complete this thing after all.

  4. As a returning player I bought this for a few reasons. 1) I came into the monorail update late and He’s really good at quickly generating resources, especially since goals are sometimes multiples of five. 2) Characters that don’t come with a building are something of a bonus for me as space is at a premium. I’m currently on Dolph’s quest line, Kirk’s questline, sideshow bob’s questline, the thanksgiving 2013/fourth of July events, something involving milhouse/lugash, something about tobacco, and the creator questline. Meaning I have a bunch of expensive building coming up and not a lot of space. And as mystery boxes have been spitting out lard lad’s like crazy (six out of 15 or so boxes, along with a bunch of itchy scratchy signs) I’m even more land restricted. 3) He can’t eat anything that casts a shadow! The super short questline is just a bonus.

  5. If you got the Donuts? By all means (personally, I think this Character is a waste as it doesn’t come with a Building) …. EA is doing it again (Network Connection issues prevent me from obtaining Blue Prints – I hope EA is fixing problems vs preventing Tappers from completing Part One of the Monorail Event)! (

  6. I was experiencing bad lag issues at the start of the event. So I uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled TOS. Unfortunately, now the game not only lags but outright freezes! It incredibly frustrating considering the event is timed! If you are having similar issues I advise that you DO NOT UNINSTALL the app. As from my experience this only made things worse.
I spoke to EA today and they reiterated this is a known ongoing issue. Hopefully, the event timeline will be adjusted to compensated for the inability to play. 🙁

  7. Try going to “move items” right away and storing the monorail station. Then shorten the track but leave a little room for motion (mine got locked up because the train was longer than the track). I also put away all NPCs. Worked for me.

  8. meh

  9. I was really considering buying this character, but now I’m glad I didn’t. I’ve been locked out of my game since monday (it freezes when I enter) and I’m not all too optimistic as to how long it will take EA to fix it – at least they say they’re working on it. I just hope they let me have the things that the lockout has prevented me from getting. Fingers crossed!

  10. I finally got ray Paterson. Did his collect trash task. Said reward 100 plastic bottles however I never got them. Did I read it wrong or should I contact EA? Thanks
