Just like EA adores to do lately, in the midst of our Monorail Event, our dear Ol’ Friend Gil has come crawling and begging in our games again for our Pink Sprinkly Treats.
Due to this new offer, many of you are wondering if you should add the Shapes Building and Muscular Marge to YOUR Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding some more exercise options to the game!
Building/Character Skin Combo: Shapes & Muscular Marge
Donut Price: 175 Donuts
Building Earns: $300 & 30xp every 12 hrs
Conform-O-Meter Impact: Vanity +300
Placement: Can go on Grass, Beach, Pavement, and Boardwalk. Sits on a 4×6 Base.
Shapes & Muscular Marge Leaves Stores on September 2nd
Pros:
-Comes with a Questline
-Fully tasked Premium Payout Character Skin
-Building is used by Character Skin
-Building Window animations when in use
Cons:
-Character is only a Skin
-Price is a little high
-Only by it’s Origin in TV Series, it looks like Android Dungeon (Season 19, Episode 7: Husbands & Knives.)

Personally, I want MORE Skins for Marge. She is not used that often in the game, so she does not seem quite so much in demand and I like to put her on visual tasks or have other options. I giggled at the episodes both of these items came from, so it was more Nostalgic for me. Many of you state that you would have preferred this a Building Skin too, if so… then it would definitely be overpriced in my mind for Two Skins. Overall, I am on the fence on this one. It is the standard we are seeing for many Skins and Buildings Donut Costs now added together, but seems slightly overpriced for me. I did however pick this up, but more for my personal wants.
Freemium Take:
I do not think this one would be worth it for you. There are many other Buildings/Character Combos in the game for around this same price, but give you an extra Character… not just a skin. A whole new Character can add to your daily earning potential and other game playing options. She also is in a Character Group I have yet to see get used during Events. So Freemium players, I would say pass on this one.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do. However, this IS a limited-time item. So if you’re thinking about getting it make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games. (and if you are thinking about getting it, the sooner the better)

I was so afraid I wasn’t going to get this. I haven’t worked on nearly a month and disability hadn’t kicked in yet so I had like no money. Then last night with 9 hours to go, money from Mom and Dad in the mail!

I gotta admit, I think I’m with your parents on this one…. You can’t actually eat the sprinklies and Muscle Marge probably won’t be able to intimidate your landlord into letting you skip rent. Also, if your electricity and/or internet get shut off, you won’t be able to play at all!
I did make sure I had enough, was just making fun of myself because it was my top priority

I. I gut get it I just wondering for the visual task of beating down the mugger does she beat hi. All over town or is he just in a scrap with her in one area. And the one at moves tavern does she throw ppl out of the bar as well. As that would be cool to see ppl fly out the window and as well out the door. Either way I have prem skins for Bart from The super hero event I have Lisa’s princess outfit and homers Santa skin as well as the one that went prem which was cool homer.
So I might as well get a prem for marge. Also yeah the ice cream man homer skin. The tasks for him are awesome.
So yeah a lil more on her visual tasks will def help sway my purchase thinking.
They stay in one spot as she delivers different kinds of blows to him. The Bar Brawl… the only things in motion are all indoors sadly. I would have LOVED to see someone fly out that front door too. 😉
What are some characters that are fequently used for events? Im saving my bonuts for another character..im probably gonna save till Halloween.
Hmmm… so far… it seems Jasper, Otto, Frink, and Hank have made reoccuring appearances in the Character groups. To help a lil more… see the breakdown of the Groupings in a prior event post…
Scroll down a lil to the Groups and you will see the different Categories and names. Those are the ones that have been continually used in Events for the Groups.

I went for it. I loved the episode, and personally I like muscular women. It does mean I have to refill my donut stock, but as a personal choice, it was worth it. Now they need that expy for the Venice Beach workout area from that episode.
Definitely overpriced. Sorry, Gil, you’re losing your edge.
I could actually see them making Gil a playable character, and having Lyle Lanley take over his job of randomly offering overpriced stuff. It would be a shame to see everyone’s favourite conman vanish from the game forever, especially since they’ve animated him and had him appear in this event!

If I didn’t already have Witch Marge I might be tempted. But it’s also kinda overpriced to me.

Yes the Shapes Building looks like the Android Dungeon ! Yes Marge deserves more Skins with amusing Tasks (Muscular Marge is too cool)! 175 Donuts is too much (how about 100 Donuts, Gil?)!
And …. EA needs to quit with offers for Buildings / Character Skins that are not relevant to an Event – during said Event – that don’t offer any bonus towards completing said Event (my opinion) 😉

This one is a pass for me. Don’t need a high priced vanity building and I’d rather they redo Marge’s Witch skin or add a Cop skin for her.
Normally I would think about passing on something like this. But that Marge gets me all bothered.
Maybe if it also came with Tattoo Annie or Full Character -Mugger. Though I would prefer Jimmy The Scumbag —It,s still a pass
I need Marge to focus on speeding up triffids, so this is an easy pass for me (plus it’s way too expensive…still have done more basic stuff I want to buy).
In the other hand, I’m starting to be less enamored with getting new whole characters, because it seems to take forever now to send everyone on their tasks. At the rate that they’re adding new characters (even just freemium ones), I think EA is going to need to do something to help folks deal with that issue at some point…
But I look forward to seeing her outdoor tasks in one of my neighbor’s towns! 🙂

Yes, I just got back tonight… The was vacation was very nice, but the drive home was rather painful (I have a spinal/nerve thing that kept me bedridden for about 6 months and still limits me to working from home) and very loooong. But I’m in my comfy bed now and stuffed pleasantly full with Chinese food and cheesecake, and, best of all, I came home to find that my husband had finally mowed the lawn!

On the other subject, let’s just say there is something coming that will alleviate your worry about having too many characters 🙊 🙂

I’m big on physical fitness so yeah it was an immediate buy for me. I wish they bring back the Mayan stuff.
Much as I want more Marge, I think I will pass. The 12 and 24 hour tasks are indoor and that’s my first consideration. If I pay sprinklies for it, I want to see it. Still get real joy out of the French Waiter.
french waiter was probably the best/easiest premium character purchase i’ve made in this game! at 50 donuts, everyone should make sure to pick him up… you can make him clumsily hurts himself 24/7!
