May have been mentioned elsewhere, although I don’t recall seeing this mentioned, the new Gargoyle statues are animated when tapped!! Accidentally tapped one and it woke up 😀
Hi neighbors. I hope you see this here even though a new thread starts tomorrow. You guys all have fantastic Springfields, don’t change them! One of the side effects of that is that I’m having the worst time visiting you. it’s terribly frustrating as I really do try to visit all of you every day. I’m getting there verrrrrrrrry slowly. Tap tap boot tap tap boot and repeat. It’s taking hours and dedication to visit everyone (and lots of will power not to throw my iPad) I’m sure after the event is over things will clear up. In the meantime please bare with me! And wish me luck!
Try doing it with 13 towns to visit. Lol. At least I am able to get a few done before I am booted out.😜😜😜😜😜. I guess, what I am saying is…I feel ur pain.
Also, I do not maintain 100 friends in any of my towns, otherwise there wouldn’t be anyway I could visit each day.

Sebastian Cobb finally took a rest after I got 14228 Bells and Whistles this morning. That is after closing 18 projects and does not include any other B&W accumulation from other methods. No donuts were harmed in the process.
Boy! U have been really busy! Now what do u do? Close for the day? Lol. Glad to hear that donuts r safe in ur hands. It is hard to listen to their screams.😩😩
Started with a full load of junk, metal, plastic and glass. After I complete projects I again make sure everything is full for tomorrow. Then I work on my SH buildings.
I mostly do all of this while working my butt off trying to visit friends. Sometimes I have to hard boot my iPad 1 two times to get it to go into a friend’s Springfield and sometimes it just freezes when I do. I have had to drop about 10 GOOD friends because I can never get in with my low memory issue. So, to be fair to them, I got out of their way. I have added friends that are at level 20s and 30s and that seems to help. So, I will get them going with my visiting. Missing my old high level friends though.
For today I got 13869, so it looks like the limit is definitely 14000. Haven’t been reading posts so I bet our Addicts already have put this out.
Being Friday/Saturday not sure many will see this, but I think I noticed a trend, or could be just a coincidence with the bonus track collecting. Left my track open for the time being, and kept adding track pieces to each end of my track growing it as I receive them. Anyway, seemed to be if I had a curved piece at the end of the track, my bonus would be a curved piece. If I had a straight piece at both ends of the track, I got straight pieces. Heard people complaining there was too many curved pieces. Doing this I received more straight pieces than curved. Not sure if it matters, not sure if its coincidence, but seemed to work well for me this round. 12 rounds of bonus track pieces, two were curved, the rest, straight. Probably jinxed myself by posting this now, but meh lol.
R u going to have enough track to go around ur town? R u trying to go around ur town? That is good information. I probably won’t need it for myself, because I just barely make the deadline. 😁 I do hope u didn’t jinx yourself.
Probably be multiples of posts on this before I have posted, but thought everyone should know, Mapple store is back in shops, AND Springfield Heights buildings can now be re-stored in inventory!!
Hey, BigPhil and lee3472 – I just had a space open up in my town…send me a friend request and the spot is yours! (Just make sure I know what Origin handle to look for, if it’s different than here.) Unfortunately, I only have one spot right now, but, if you’re second and don’t mind waiting, you’ll get the next available one.
(Oh, and apologies if you’re already a neighbor and I haven’t put your two handles together in my mind. *blush*)
I’m loving how much the percentage of neighbors I “know” has gone up in my list…it’s so much more ffunny that way! (Although some of my “stanger neighbors” do have some pretty cool towns…)

I sent the neighbour request from my tablet, then all this update stuff happened, now on my tablet it says no requests sent, but on my phone it shows request sent …..maybe it will all catch up with itself

Oops again… May not be until tomorrow night. Timeslip got bad last night, so I won’t be visiting neighbors until tomorrow. It’s gonna be tough finding someone to boot…I have a, pretty good lot of neighbors right now. But I’ll definitely see what I can do, because I definitely prefer folks that I know from here over “strangers”…

I just signed on to clear my town and re send my characters on task. My coworker walks up behind me and says “what game is that you are playing? It looks like you are just tapping buildings and people” LMBO ummm….. Lol

I found a crashing bug in my game. I have a monorail track on a road. Then I try to place water on that road tile…. Game freezes. I tried it twice. I forget, though, what normally happens when you put water on a road. I don’t know, but I don’t think the answer is “crash”.
I want the Maison Derrière ! …but only if it comes with the employees and their stockings 🙂 👠

On September 1st, I ended up with 25454 rolls of tape. Got six pieces of track.
That was without being able to visit neighbors.
For the first time I just cleaned up garbage somebody dumped on my church. Kind of made me feel like Arlo Guthrie.

My main complaint right now goes out to EA as I know they are lurking here! I also think there are lots like me that aren’t amused I think it stinks, pun intended that the loyal tappers that rap their fingers away, reach the point in an event that we earn usually free donuts but now rails. As we get to a higher level we should get one more each time we reach that level. Adding a higher number to get more is just mean! Not to mention frustrating!
Not taking it out on the 3 great people that run this site, just posting here to see if others are frustrated or I’m just being a grump cause in pain!

Hi, Just wanted to thank my awesome friends and say happy Sept. the 1st. Although EA is keeping us busy, this event is one of my favorites, because it makes it possible for me to visit all my neighbors most every day. Not much time to look around in ur towns, but what I see makes me wish I had more time. Hopefully, we have at least a week before Halloween, so I can catch my breath.
As always, Alissa, Bunny and Wookie, great job. I really don’t know how u do it. Congrat on 2yrs. Would be lost without that calendar, Bunny.

a ok! we’ve just been neighbors for some time now, and i really had no idea if wendell was a lurker or what. sometimes i get requests from people that have obviously been reading posts, but don’t comment themselves; those tend to be the neighbors i weed out first to make room for the people that “i know” from comments on this site… unless they are great neighbors and have a really awesome town, which you’ve obviously been and have, since you are still on my neighbor list despite not knowing who you were! 🙂

I’ve notice a few comments about people not sure how to place their monorail in their towns mostly due to space issue. I stated before that placing the rails in the rivers was a great way to save space and an easy way to place it without redesigning your towns. I thought I would just post mine to give others addicts an example of what they can do.
