Some new premium items hit our stores this morning. ..we’ll cover them a little later this morning when we’re a little more awake. 🙂
Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Back a couple of months ago the Springfield Heights Expansion hit our tappin’ devices and with it arrived a bunch of new buildings and decorations. Everything from solid gold mailboxes to flying cars! So let’s take a look at how these new and returning items impact our Conform-O-Meter…
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the Springfield Heights Expansion brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a bunch of buildings and decorations. So let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:

*There are more items scheduled to appear in the game for Springfield Heights. When/if they’re added we’ll update this post with their conform-o-meter info.
And there you have it my friends…the Conform-O-Meter info behind Springfield Heights!
What are your thoughts on how the items impact our Conform-O-Meters? Anything you’ll pickup now because of this? Anything you’ll be quicker to store? How’s your Conform-O-Meter doing? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
Is there another downside apart of the missing XP if the SH buildings not placed in the ground?
Not really
Do all items in Springfield Heights need to be displayed for conformity bonuses? Like do I need to display all parking garages , or just one. Same for condos but with a full set of expansion pieces?
You’d need them all out to get the bonus for each…you don’t get bonuses for things in inventory.
Has anyone heard if they are going to open up more land in Springfield heights?
What exactly is the bonus XP awarded by the upgradeable buildings? Does it vary according to the level the building is at?
Is there any point to upgrading these buildings (other than the real estate points earned)?
Thanks!
Just extra XP overall. Like when you buy a premium item and get a bonus % for cash and xp, only in this case it’s just XP. Upgrades don’t matter..it’s just the building itself.
Thanks for replying! I meant exactly how much extra XP… 0.1%, 0.2%?
1-5% each. Modern Mansion is 5, classic is 4. Valet is 3, business center 2 and condo is 1
Thanks! It’s interesting that the mansions are the items with the highest bonus XP, considering they’re the ones that take up less space (at least without all the extra pieces).
With so many of these buildings boosting consumerism I could probably get rid of ALL my Kwik E Marts. 🎶 Who needs the Kwik E Mart? I don’t. 🎶 But I guess I’ll keep one out for Apu. 😄
All of a sudden I despaired for Apu sitting on top of the Simpsons house singing “Iiiiiiii dooooooooo.” Thankfully you won’t leave him without his precious KEM lol.
Thanks for that info Alissa. I just leveled up and was lacking vanity points. I didn’t realize all the mansion add ons had individual vanity points. I hid some of them around the town and I’m back to 5 stars! Y’all are the best!
🙂
I am disappointed that palm trees add to vanity. Gold ones maybe, but the regular ones should at least go to Tree-Hugging.
Hmm this isn’t the right place for this but because soooo many people asked for that item:
The Mapple Store is in the store for 90 donuts 🙂

Interesting that the theater falls under indolence. I’m curious about the logic behind it. It must be a place “for jerks to fight”. Lol. Actually, something like that was probably in an episode, wasn’t it? I must look that up…
Maybe at some point they’ll include some items that help with Gluttony as no SH buildings fall into that category yet.
Looks like mechanical ants escaped from the lab and are now available for 60 donuts a pop for 0.75% money/xp boost
Why don’t they put more things to help tree hugging? I find that the hardest one to get to 5 stars.
Just buy trees…
Yeah, but that’s so boring. ; )
Tree-hugging is my favourite category and was one of the first categories I maxed out and it’s never dipped below 5 stars. There’s a ton of options, different kinds of trees (standard ones in the build menu, plum trees, other fruit trees, limited edition Easter ones, rainbow ones, that I always stock up on for variety when they show up), shrubs, flowers, hedges, Green Peace boats, Bunny hedges, ponds, etc. Your town always looks so much better when there’s a lot of greenery (in my humble opinion). This should help too 🙂

Morning Alissa …..watch out for ants 🙂
I just got robot ants in my game
ROBOT ANTS!!
Do you still get the bonus XP when you store the SH buildings?
Also, a little bit off topic, did anyone got their missing donuts back already from EA? Im still waiting for mine…
Nope, must be in your town.
