Level 57 hit our tappin’ devices earlier today and with it arrived a classic Simpsons character…Old Jewish Man!
So now that there’s a new Level in our tapping devices, you know what that means right? Time for another Turbo Tappin! So with that let’s jump right in and Turbo Tap the Main Questline (Freemium) of Level 57!
As we mentioned in the Level 57 rundown post the main questline is started by Homer, and the quest to build the Overpass Diner is started (24hr build).
Remember…this is NOT timed. This is simply a Level update. You do not have to complete it right this very second. So take your time and have fun with it!

At this point a task with Jasper will popup (if you have Jasper) Grumpy Grump Grampos. We’ll cover this below.

Make Jasper Retrieve a Box of Pills– 10hrs, Earns $525, 135xp (only applies if you have Jasper)

Make Grumpy Old Folks Home Residents Check Out Restaurants– x6. 30m, Earns $40, 10xp Freemium and $60, 15xp Premium. Can send Grampa, Old Jewish Man, Jasper..so you’ll have to send each twice.

Make Old Jewish man Dine at the Overpass Diner– 1hr, Earns $70, 17xp

And that concludes the Level 57 questline!
It’s a fun update to keep us busy tapping for a bit!
If you run the Level 57 questline from start to finish, without using donuts, it will take you 7 days and 13hrs to complete (of course you could save 48hrs off of that time by building Shotgun Pete’s and the Geriatric Medicine building ahead of their points in the questline) if you don’t have Jasper and and additional 4hrs if you have Jasper.

I played for years then took a few years off and had to start all over again with a new game. I’m now Lv 92 and just bought the diner and OJM out of the store not as a prompt from a quest. I thought when I built it he might have a quest, but no luck. He only has a few tasks available to pick from and it says a quest is required to unlock the rest. Any ideas? In the main timeline I just unlocked Lunchlady Dora and haven’t been prompted to do anything else beyond her quest (when I’ve unlocked other folks, the next quest has been set). Thanks!
Levels are a minimum but you need to do previous quests to get the next set to show and Lunchlady Dora is lvl 52.
I was doing that around lvl 300 !!
Once you’ve done lvls 52 to 56 then you should get his lvl 57 quest, see …

If I have moved on to another level and quests then decided to buy Jasper will his task for the OJM still popup?
It may, but if you’ve completed that level quest I don’t think it’ll appear again.

Having the same issue as ^marge. I’ve built the overpass dinner and have the OJM but his questline won’t kick off. I’m currently running through the woosterfield, daredevil, shot kickers, and the space timelines.
What tasks are open in your task book?
I can’t get the quest to start. I have the diner built already but no quest or storyline started
Did you get a quest telling you to build the diner?
I have same issue – and I didn’t get a quest. I just built it. I have a quest for the evil canivel fella who comes afterwords

Is anyone else missing the geriatric center from the buildings list? I went to go buy it today but I only see shotgun Pete’s and the gargoyle…

Here’s a little tip I’ve discovered…. I thought I was going to have to wait to do even the first step of this questline until after the event, because Homer, Marge, Lisa, and Bart are all busy with event tasks, but it turns out that you can satisfy the “5/5” requirement to send the Simpsons family to the diner by just sending Abe there five times!

Cool stuff but putting the Simpsons and Rev Lovejoy on jobs for Level 57 is gonna have to wait til after Monorail. I got glass and metal and plastic to make.
It would be nice to be able to run the monorail over the mountains from Springfield to Springfield Heights. A tunnel would be super cool!

Oy Vey, these comments, few of which are of the Old Jewish Man. Mazel tov to EA!! Funny thing, multiple people think I am Jewish. Could it because I ask a lot of questions? or how I look or other character traits? Maybe the fact I was in my High School production of Fiddler On The Roof?, Meh.
I like to think it’s a complement, like they think I’m Jewish because I’m smart/wise and funny :p
Anyone ever bomb the whole town to fix a glitch? Thinking about hitting the button but… I am currently in the middle of the glitch where everything including the mountain disappear when I tap on something…
I bought Maison Derriere right away! Love that episode, hoping some tasks come along because I can’t get the line “We just heard this place existed” out of my head.
For the time being, Overpass Diner is next to the dump because I don’t have anywhere else to put it. Once the monorail event is finished and I know where to fit my monorail, I’ll re-order my town to make it less disorganised.
I got bought the ants. Bart’s task to control them is so funny. The ants are all over the school taking bites out of it. Love it.
I’m so happy they FINALLY added the Burlesque House. That’s a classic episode. And that useless old guy lol Which I never even knew was an actual character….I mean they showed him once or twice(I’m remembering only old episodes since I don’t watch the new ones) And they’re so behind on older characters and buildings. They should have added these a long time ago. Not the Ants so much, the whole “ant” machines were just a day dream of Bat’s I actually am super surprised to see them in this lol….

Yay for OJM! I am building all 3 buildings, but will probably wait until after act 3 of monorail to start the rest of the quest line. Obtaining as much monorail track as possible is my main objective!
Wow! Nice long questline to look forward to. Currently starting Mrs.Quimby’s questline and just built my first pool.
Why do we struggle to gather points and when we achieve them to another level, we get 2 donuts? Why not a half dozen or a dozen???
Because 2 is better than none…and none is what most other games give you.
And the early levels alternated one donut then two.

The real trick is to level up XP in-between the numerical levels.
Kind of surprised OJM doesn’t have a real name at this point, but I guess if he did nobody would use it like Crazy Cat Lady or Squeaky Voice Teen.

I seem to only be able to place the Center for Geriatric Medicine & Shotgun Pete’s on grass, not pavement. Bug or feature?
Some buildings are only available to go on grass. Both those are grass only.
