Random Changes Level 57

Hey there Hoppereenos!

WOOHOO!!! BELLE IS IN THE GAME FINALLY!!! I swear EA took my list of “Bunny wants in the game…” and just keeps going with it. Sideshow Bob as a Character, Monorail, Maison Derriere… to name a few. Now if only I can keep sending them mental images of Maggie as a Character, I will be set. šŸ˜‰

In the midst of the Monorail Event, EA has chose to dump on up a Level Update. Getting really used to this by now, so anticipated something coming. I am definitely happy with what they brought, that’s for sure.

Now with the New Items comes some New Changes, so let’s go over some of them.

Belle

For the basics on Level 57 and the Rundown, see the post HERE.

WHY CAN’T I SEE THE NEW STUFF?Ā

You have two things running in the game… XP Level and Game Play Levels. In order to move on to the New Content BOTH need to be in the same Level.

XP Level: This is at the bottom Left of your screen. This is ONLY the XP Counter. It will need to say Level 57 in order to see the New Content.

Level 55

Game Play Level: This is essentially the Walkthroughs. The Dialog you MUST complete with each Level to move on to the next. In other words, you will NOT be able to see Level 57 if you have not completed all the required prior Level Content before. So make sure you completed Level 52, 53, 54, 55, and 56 Walkthroughs in order to see Level 57. Level 56 Walkthrough is HERE.Ā

You can use our Walkthrough Page for each of the Levels to see where YOU are at in Game Play and find out what you need to complete to move forward.

Walkthroughs

Now to the Random Changes….

First off, with another new level comes more new pricing.Ā This means the top 8 Levels of the game have a mark up on the Buildings Costs as they are the “Newest” Levels. As you can see the top 2 and bottom 2 are the same, so you will not notice any changes for 2 Levels on these items.

Here is the Multiplier Tier Breakdown.

Level 57: 4X Cost
Level 56: 4X Cost
Level 55: 3X Cost

Level 54: 2X Cost
Level 53: 1.6X Cost
Level 52: 1.4X Cost
Level 51: 1.3X Cost
Level 50: 1.3X Cost
(Level 49-1: No Multiplier)

So as New Levels come out, prices for previous Level Main Buildings go down. Let’s take a look at those prices.

NEW BUILDING PRICES

Remember…the BASE price is indicated in Red. Ā The current price is in black.Ā Don’t confuse the base price (in red) with the current price (in black). Base Price is the lowest possible cost you will pay for the Building… IF you wait until several more Levels are released and it moves down the Multiplier Tiers until there is no more Multiplier.

Current Price is what it will cost you RIGHT NOW in the game.Ā

KNOWN ISSUES

These are the few things that are still ongoing in the game and have been a while now.

  • Akira Bonsai Planting not working
  • Springfield Heights Buildings still disappearing in storage, but can be stored
  • Crashing Issues
  • Parts of Town/Characters disappearing

These have all been covered many times, most recently on the post HERE.Ā

As well as the post HERE

NEW-ISH CHANGES

There are several subtle changes around the game on Buildings and Decorations. Items that can now go on more places then just grass. As this list is MASSIVE and constantly changing, it will take more than just this post to cover it all.

With other items taking priority, we will cover these more in depth down the road. Kinda takes a while to go through THOUSANDS of Buildings and Decorations to test them all. šŸ˜‰

TRADE DONUTS FOR IN GAME CASH

This was introduced a few Levels back, but I will continueĀ updating it for the newest Levels. These are the options as of Level 57.

First itā€™s important to note that the higher the level you are the more cash youā€™ll get for your donuts. Ā

Tapped_Out_Grind_Pack_1Ā ā€“ $13,500 will cost you 9 Donuts

Tapped_Out_Grind_Pack_2ā€“ $67,500 will cost you 30 Donuts

Tapped_Out_Grind_Pack_3Ā ā€“ $162,000 will cost you 65 Donuts

Tapped_Out_Grind_Pack_4Ā -$270,000 will cost you 100 donuts

Tapped_Out_Grind_Pack_5Ā ā€“ $810,000 will cost you 285 Donuts

Tapped_Out_Grind_Pack_6Ā ā€“ $1,620,000 will cost you 550 Donuts

Tapped_Out_Grind_Pack_7Ā $3,240,000 will cost you 1,000 Donuts

Money Safe 1600 Donuts to Cash$5,400,000 will cost you 1600 Donuts

Again this will vary depending on your level. Ā The above numbers reflect it if youā€™re on Level 57. Ā As you increase your level over level 9 youā€™ll start to increase the payout for each one. Ā We won’t goĀ into too much detail with this because we honestly do not encourage you to do this in your games. It is a waste. Do not spend donuts for in game cashā€¦itā€™s just not worth it (at any level).

Now for that one thing we will continually keep reminding you to check šŸ˜‰

CONFIRM DONUT SPENDdonut-loadingAnd of course, your constant reminder (as we ALWAYS get comments on this)…check that Confirm Donut Spend. NO ONE wants to lose donuts on accidental sped up tasks or purchases. The new menu, you will find this in any menu by tapping the cog wheel in the top right corner. (You can also reset your sound from here.)

Confirm Donut Notification and Sound Volume

ON

Got some technical issues from the new update that we were unable to help with? Try theĀ usualĀ Basic Troubleshooting, and if you need more help…contact EA.

So there are a few random changes. I am still looking to see if anything more pops ups. I will update this post if I do. What do you think of the new stuff? Any changes you see that we have not listed? Let us know.

  1. Overpass diner is premium and costs doughnut. Is this the same for all of you?

  2. I just saw that the Quimbys’ pool now has three different skins to choose from – has this been changed with level 57 or did I just miss it earlier?

  3. OMG, Belle put the spring back in my open air stage!

  4. I call BS on the monorail “hand-ins.” I am full of glass and plastic, yet there is no “hand’-in.” If I am full of 3 out of 4 resources without 1 hand-in, I call BS. They want you to pay, not play.

    • Metal is a bottleneck most of the time. So fill up your metal and you won’t have issues…which shouldn’t be a problem since it takes 1hr each turn, while glass and plastic take 3 and 2.

    • Huh? Pay for what??

These requirements just kind of cycle around, so sometimes 4-hour tasks will just happen to line up so that they shook require the same type of resource. Shouldn’t affect you eventual ability to make it through the prize track just fine, if you’re playing reasonably frequently (and, especially, if you do some strategizing).

I don’t think that EA or this game is perfect by long shot, and I definitely have my open gripes, but it really bothers me how quick people are to call “BS” on EA and/or see conspiracies where there really aren’t any, just because they lack patience, or understanding of the game play, or willingness/ability to strategize, or willingness to “do the work” (or just general paranoia), or some combination of these things.

  5. You have probably mentioned this somewhere but if you hold your finger on a building for a few seconds it opens the build/move menu (kinda like quest for stuff)

  6. I leveled up to 57 directly after the update and started the quest. The game crashed. Afterwards I was back to 56 but the quest was still live. I just couldn’t start it due to the building menu shows “reach level 57”.
I tried logging in and out, going to a neighbors Springfield, installing on a different device. Still same situation. And on the contact EA website I get “Sorry, No Channels are Available.” What to do?

  7. I notice that the xp cap in the picture in this post is 792k to reach level 56 in my game I’m currently on level 55 and my target for level 56 is 594k why is the leveling up points not the same anyone know?

    • It has to do with how many times you’ve “leveled up” already..and earned bonus donuts. The image is an older one and most likely Bunny already got at least 1 round of bonus donuts before grabbing it. So that amount is the amount to earn more bonus donuts. That gift package at the end of the XP bar indicates that it was taken before Level 56 was released…

  8. I thought Mayor Quimby might have a task invoking the Maison DerriĆØre but not seen anything, but the sea captain has to “pick up some ointment” as part of the quest

    šŸ™‚

  9. I definitely had to increase my Tree Hugging Level in order to maintain a 5 Star Level when Level 57 started … @ least the new Recycle Bins improve your Tree Hugging (no known issues except the random Network Down) šŸ˜‰

  10. did EA stop the free doughnuts with friend visits? I make a mental note of how many I have before doing my visits and the number didn’t change.

  11. Bunny, I wish I could see your Wish List so I can compare notes. though My List is long, I did narrow down the top 12

    1. Maggie
    2.Raphael (sarcastic guy)
3 &4 Itchy and Scratchy (real)
5 “Well, I Never!” Lady, Mrs. Vanderbilt
    6 Lindsey Nagel
    7 Wendell
8 & 9 Other schoolies (two boys) Richard and Lewis
    10 &11Barflies
    12 Gil (full character)

I know I should have L.H. And T.McClure but with the *Poof* disappearance of Lyle Lanly – I’m not sure if EA will be able to pull it off let alone get them to be voiced. :/

I don’t know why but B.G.M. And the Jazz Hole is freshly attempting to get the 12th spot.

Anyway, what ever magic brainwaves you have with EA, Keep it up, your doing a good job.

    • I watched a BGM episode a few days ago and actually went online just to check if he was in the game since I knew a few other deceased characters had made it in.

  12. Thoughts on the Conform-o-Meter? I noticed that when I ticked up to 57, I went to 4.5 on Gluttony, but it went back to 5 when the Overpass Diner completed its build.

    • Every level makes the requirements for 5 stars higher. The Diner satisfied your requirements for 5 stars. I’m sure we’ll have a conformometer post coming in the future for Level 57.

  13. I can still name a few wants, but I agree!

My list of things I’d like to see:

    Area 51A
“The guy” (the one with the mustache who works everywhere, Garbageman, janitor you name it and you know who I mean).
    Homers mom
Those hippies (i think they chose the wrong hippie)
Mulder and Scully (promote the x files please).
I am looking forward to the Halloween update, I never caught the other alien.
Oh and I really want to see Bender in our springfield! Since he’s waiting in Homers basement anyway.
Ehm yeah Maison derriĆØre was on my wishlist for a long time!
Great update! Have a good weekend!

  14. Hey tappers, the “Old grey mare” looks pretty adorable and I considered getting her, but I couldn’t find a “Should I buy…” entry for her anywhere. Are you going to write it yet? Or can you tell me here, if she just lays around like a deco, or if she’ll walk along the streets like the K9 officer (which I loved and bought)? Is she worth my donuts? (not a premium player)

  15. If I’m understanding this right, they’re cranking up the prices the higher level you are? This is going to be horrible for new players. Because of the Heights XP multiplier with no money multiplier, I’m already flying up levels way faster than I can afford to pay for new buildings.

I’m presently 10 levels higher than the buildings I’m buying as it is and it’s taking me two days to even come up with the 200k it takes to buy level 40 buildings. Since I’m going to hit level 50 tomorrow, now buildings are going to cost me more?! Especially factoring in the fact newer players are now punished for trying to farm money (the increasing scale of buying new houses) this is really going to be a game killer for people joining this year. It’s not going to effect older players much, but it’s going to really screw us newer players ><

    • It’s always been like this, it’s nothing new.

    • They don’t really crank the prices up as you go up. As they add new levels the items for previous levels drop in price till they hit their baseline.

For newer players it helps them catch up since they aren’t paying as much for level 30 buildings now, as people who were max level when it hit paid.

Someone starting today will pay way less for the level 57 buildings by the time they get to them.

    • You catch up pretty quickly. Yes, saving money for the buildings is a drag, but that’s where events like monorail are great. You forget about the levels for a while, focus on the event and stockpile some cash.
Honestly, I remember very well feeling like you do, I was there fairly recently, but keep plugging away. You’ll get there!

    • I feel ya. I started this year and from day 1 was always short on cash. (I dont buy donuts with real money.) SH hit and I worked on that for a while but got a bunch of XP without cash. Now I’m at level 53 but buying level 51 buildings. I’m being penalized for getting XP by having to spend more on the level 51 buildings. The same will happen when I’m at level 55 buying level 53 buildings. Sucks.

The monorail event has been a mixed blessing – I have had 15-20 players tied up on trash duty, so less money. Then when I visit friends my game crashes – sometimes after 10 visits, sometimes 1 – so I havent been visiting as much. Less money again. And I’ve had to buy a bunch of land just to place the 3 stations – so I spent $400k on land instead of buildings, and then leveled up – and now I’m a level behind and paying higher prices for the buildings I need.

Older players don’t get it – they’ve never been strapped for cash by the game and have excess millions to buy aspirational items. For newer players, we’re stuck with how EA has changed the game. I’ve seen a few friend’s towns around level 45-50 that have no roads and everything is just jammed up side by side – bc they can’t afford land. Often these are the same players who then stop playing.

      • Wait – I think you’ve got it backwards! You’re paying LESS for buildings than the “old timers” did! As new levels come out, lower-level buildings DECREASE in cost.

Everyone goes through a long period of scrambling to make money before they get to the point when income really starts to outpace outgo. I used to have to send my characters on 1-hour tasks all through the day (and plant tomacco every 30 minutes) just to earn as much money as I needed to without having to wait forever to buy the newest building our whatever.

You’re able to progress through the levels much faster, potentially, because you’re paying less for lower-level buildings than I did.

  16. Re: increased prices for buildings. How do others control their money? I’ve stopped collecting money from buildings because what the characters generate is more than enough. I’ve bought all the stupidly expensive, unnecessary decorations like the biggest cubic zirconia and am now keeping money to manageable levels by betting on the dog races. (Thankfully I haven’t won big yet!)
How’s everyone else managing their money?

    • You may not care about the money part, but you do realize that, by not collecting on your buildings, you’re also losing out on a lot of XP, and that more XP means more free donuts?

I’m not site I understand your core question though… I don’t “manage” my money (I’m at the point where I’m never really limited from doing something because I didn’t have enough cash), I just let it accumulate. I was happy I had an extra 8 million to burn on taking advantage of the tap ball glitch to get a ton of free donuts, so I certainly wouldn’t ever want to let my stash get too low. But, since I want all the XP I can get, I’m gonna get the money with it anyway, and it’s not like the money is a burden or anything!

      • I see your point. I’ve never been in a position where I didn’t have enough doughnuts for things I wanted; I don’t get everything that comes along though.

  17. Also what happens in u go above the 4500 building limit

  18. Can we have a showoff for the monorail event

  19. Akira’s Bonsai planting started working for me again earlier this week. I received a new bonsai plant from him this morning, in fact.

    • I’ve been having only a partial problem with Akira all along. He was having to repeat bonsai tasks and sometimes was simultaneously offered two bonsai tasks, but I’ve managed to generate maybe three bonsais since the issue started by just repetition. It does seem that they may have resolved the problem, since my last cycle or two has been stable.

  20. Looks like Brandine’s Springfield Dump job was renamed from “Find a Lost Spuckler Kid” to “Clean Up Nature Using Nature” – perhaps someone realized that making light of children going missing is an iffy idea?

    • Mine always said the nature thing? Are you not running in English?

      Expatrie-

      • No, my game’s in English, I’m in the U.S. Admittedly, I haven’t even seen what either her Dump and Metal Depot jobs are called in the actual building menu, since she’s been busy birthing another Spuckler kid during the whole event so far and is due in 4 days… I’m going off what her “Dirty Jobs” task that she hasn’t been able to do yet says: used to be the lost kid but after the update it became cleaning up nature.

  21. I noticed that the pool that we had to upgrade a while back now allows you to choose between the three different levels.

  22. The weekend starts here šŸ™‚

  23. *pounding fists on the table rhythmically* CAL-EN-DAR, CAL-EN-DAR, CAL-EN-DAR! Argh….how do I know if I’m behind already?!?
    šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰

Seriously, though, I’m still wondering…has anyone EVER actually spent donuts to buy in-game cash???? If so, I wish I could make that trade with you, instead of you doing it with EA. I’d be willing to cut those prices in half (or maybe even more)! (I’m still working to recoup all of the millions of dollars I spent essentially trading in-game cash for donuts when doing the tap-ball exploit, but I’d do it all again in a heartbeat!)

    • Soon šŸ˜‰

Taking a break. Be back dew days with one JUST FOR YOU! šŸ˜›

    • Spending donuts on cash ? Yes, in the earlier stages of the game when – for me – it was more than worth it to buy more land and get my town looking nice rather than waiting for weeks on end while level quests were piling up up and I couldn’t afford the buildings or decos either.

If I’d have started playing in the cheap housefarm days then it would have been different.

      • Interesting! I never house farmed (though I was playing during the time when it was an option). But I also took it slow with the land and put buildings together as efficiently as possible without it being too ugly or unrealistic. Later, when money was more plentiful, I was able to buy more land than 100% necessary and transplant some buildings to give everything a little more breathing room. But I was willing to play that “long game” and wouldn’t have even considered spending donuts to speed that up. But part of that it’s because ib try to play as freemium as possible – I haven’t actually purchased very many donuts since I started playing.

But thanks for responding, because I was really curious about that! šŸ™‚

    • I don’t see why you need a calendar on this last one. You need 155k bells to get the last prize. And you have +-10days so try to get 16k every day and you will be fine.

      • Yeah – but then I’d have to remember to track it myself…much easier to just look at what I have and compare it to the calendar.

  24. Ughhh characters like willie were unavailable for tasks and Many were back in the store For purchase, premium and regulars, their buildings were still in my town, But I couldn’t store the blds in my town and I couldn’t try and repurchase them ?!? So I tried synching, nope! I tried reinstalling the game nope! and finally nuked my town …. Not happy but it fixed my issue, however cookie Kwan is now missing… I contacted EA they apologized gave me 15 donuts and said they’re working on the issue.

  25. I have this glitch now and the thac causes buildings to amimate without anyone using them. I finally saw the Spiffany’s, Comic book guys place, the abandoned house, gas and grub and gridiron animation. Gridiron was so cool the guy on the screen runs gets tackled and taken away on a stretcher! I even filmed it all lol, goes to show how obsessed I am! But it was worth it. If anyone is interested I will upload the video on youtube tomorrow. I really wonder why they have such great animations that we hardly ever get to see. It’s a shame coz in Krustyland the animations are constant. Even on the Itchy and Scratchy shop we got for Krustyland and the boardwalk. Both should show the cool animations. Quite sad.

    • I’ve had that glitch sometimes too, usually on iOS, not really on my Android. Buildings and decorations look possessed, car lights flashing, trees blowing, everything moving šŸ™‚

  26. Yesterday I updated, was able to level up and excitedly bought the three new buildings available. Today I came back only to discover that I am still on level 56, the buildings are gone, and the money I spent on the buildings is still gone. I’m pretty upset as it was about 1 million+ that disappeared and now I’m further from buying the sit-and-rotate which I have yet to purchase.

  27. The Problem Child

The Freakshow tent and the KL Cotton Candy stands now animate.

  28. I think you should add ‘Hank Hill’ to your bunny wants list.. I know mile judge allows his characters to appear on Simpsons/family guy… Imagine the possibilities of Hank aimlessly wandering around your Springfield with his anal demeanor, complaining about how inefficient everything is.. That is all: “I tell you what!”.

  29. Thanks for all the info:-) its very helpful for me…
    1) question, now I have Kang how do I get the Victorian UFO??
Thank you again for all you do, enjoy your weekend šŸ™‚ and keep tapping šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚
