So…here is your Open Thread. Busy week in TSTO this past week….new Premium items (and the return of the Mapple store!), Level 57 AND Act 3 of the Monorail Event! How are you handling all the additions last week? Focusing on the Monorail or working on Level 57 too? Just a few more weeks and The Simpsons will premiere for Season 27, are you ready for the new season? Have your Sundays been a little lonely without them? College Football is back..and I’ve officially lost my husband on Saturdays…what team(s) are you rooting for? How’d they do this past weekend? Sunday Night Baseball tonight features the Pirates at the Cardinals, will you be watching? It’s Labor Day Weekend here in the US, unofficially the last weekend of the summer. Do anything fun? Have anything fun planned?

Question for Alissa, do you have a gimmick that you go by, kinda like Bunny and Wookie? I’m crafting something for the three of you for Christmas (or maybe a bit after if I don’t get them finished in time) but they rely heavily on your persona/gimmick if you haver one. (Y’know how Bunny has the whole bunny thing going on, and Wookie, well, the wookie thing lol)
It the Crocs. Not something in her name like ours … but she wont go anywhere without them. SERIOUSLY. If you look at all the images of her the artist did… most have her in Crocs. She would have worn them to her wedding if not for the Brides Maids threatening to rip them off of her if she did. Lol. She loves her some Crocs.
She also has an EXTREME obsession with Buzz Lightyear and Disney. HUGE. 😉
Thanks Bunny that’s a big help. Now I just have to find all the pieces I need to make what I have in mind. Got what I need for your and Wookie’s for the most part, but was stumped on a theme for Alissa.
Anyone else having issues getting a “jackpot” from the Golden Scratch-R tickets? Used to be I’d get 2-3 per $50.00 online code spent. Past 6 times including today I’ve tried, and not one single jackpot ever. Getting to the point I want to stop putting money into the game and go fremium

On *average*, it should have cost you about $100 before you reached the jackpot. Of course, with odds, you can do way better our way worse unless you’re playing enough to allow the “law of large numbers” to kick in.
So, I would say that you should just count yourself lucky that you were doing as well as you did before!
Thanks Sandra, wasn’t sure exactly how it works, since its coded differently in almost every game that has a random number generator thing. Just figured that was how the game works, every 50 bucks gives at least one jackpot. Unfortunately that does not seem to be the case as I am going beyond 300 bucks now (since my “losing” streak) and no jackpot. Guess it is just finally catching up with me.
I have been getting a problem when I try to tap on Itchy and Scratchy over the Kwik-E-Mart to get the Scratch-R game. When I first tap, it says The Store and Retrieving Items. Then the Scatch-R panel comes up but when I tap on the $250, the game app closes. I tried delete and reload and putting the Kwik-E-Mart in storage and then putting it back in my town. I have not seen anybody else speak of this issue.
After this started happening, I put all my Kwik-E-Marts in storage except for one.
Wow took all this time for me to realize, but does Sebastian Cobb have any relation to Sideshow Bob? Bob and Cecil did create the Sideshow Cobb’s afterall. Or maybe the creators of TSTO just have a corn fetish, nah I’m probably overthinking all of this.
OK I have asked this question before and got an answer. I had maxed out on how much I could add to my Springfield. And I believe it was Alissa who helped me out and gave me some good advice. So I took out trees and a little less here And a little less there and it worked so thank you Alissa for that. But when I go to visit my neighbors I look at some of them and they have 10 times the amount of stuff that I was allowed to have. So I’m not understanding why, does it have something to do with what device each person uses or how I have mine set? I could be completely wrong but looking at some of my neighbors towns I ask why can’t I put all that stuff out and they can?
It really depends on how YOUR device handles the game each one is different. Think of the millions of lil pixels your game has to reconstruct with every movement you make in your game. Some just can’t handle it.
So it is wise to limit what you have. You can push the 4500… just know anything above and beyond will vary on how YOUR device will react. So do what works for you. It’s also on design. It may “appear” they have much more than you when they may actually have less 😉
Only suggesting this because I know I found this happen in my town a few times, although I haven’t hit the limit yet. Unless this is what Alissa also suggested, try going into move mode, and turn off buildings. May have items hiding behind buildings that aren’t being shown, but are being counted toward the total. I know I found a few shrubs and stuff I didn’t know I had this way.
I just reached the 4500 item warning….I know it can get glitchy if you exceed it but is there an actual cap that won’t let you place anymore? Do you get any other notices after this one? So bummed about this:(
7500 is the final cap that you can’t place anymore. Inbetween… I want to say… about every 150ish?
In case anyone wants to know; it took me 18 mins. to visit all of my neighbors (62) and was knocked out of my town 9 times. I have awesome neighbors who usually have plenty to tap. Seems like I am always knocked out after the 1st to be visited and I have to do them again. This is the case in all of my towns. Knocked out after the 1st to be visited.
I apologize if this question has already been addressed, but I haven’t had access to the Springfield Heights menu for some time–since about the time the monorail event began. My plan was to buy all the land, get everything to level 5, and then go back and lay out a nice Springfield Heights with all the building pieces and decorations. But the menu no longer appears. Is it just me? When will come back?
Just scroll across it’s still there. OR expand our menu and tap on the Springfield Heights icon, it looks like the red brick sign outside the tunnel
Bunny, I missed u and all u do 4 us (calendar for 1), but I hope u had a good time.😃😃😃. Alissa, u have been amazing holding down the fort. Not sure about Wookie, never see ur name, but I know u r important also, to these sites. Lol. I am grateful 4 all u 3 do in keeping up informed.👍👍👍
