Level 57 hit our devices last week and with it arrived a long requested character and building…Bell and Maison Derriere! Now I know you may be trying to decide if this is worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Belle to YOUR Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this entertainer to YOUR Springfield!
Building/Decoration: Maison Derriere
Character: Belle
Donut Price: 150 donuts
Earns: $200,22xp/8hrs
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +10
Size: 5×10
Level Requirement: Must be at Level 57, unless offered Early Access when the update first hit
Pros:
-Comes with a quest line
-Premium character earns 50% more on all cash and xp than a freemium character
-Several of Belle’s tasks will use Maison Derriere
-Will unlock a task for Belle at Open Air Stage, if you have it
-Will unlock a new 10hr Task for Miss. Hoover at Maison Derriere that pays at a premium rate.
-A highly requested character
Cons:
-Pricey, but not the most expensive combo
-Not voiced

Premium Take:
Honestly, this is an instant premium grab for me. As you can see from above there aren’t too many cons against it but loads of pros. This is a great buy and a popular character/building combo. This one for me is a Premium player must buy if you’re any kind of a fan of The Simpsons…
Freemium Take:
Freemium players I would add this to your list of something to save up for. It’s another one of those long term goals for a lot of freemium players, in my opinion. It also offers a ton of additional pros, a big one being Miss. Hoover’s premium job there. I’m a fan of the combo and I think it should be on a freemium player’s list of what to save up for.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you I will be purchasing this combo. However, this is NOT a Limited-Time Item so take your time with your thought process. Belle will still be there in a few weeks. So if you’re on the fence or worried about saving up your donuts relax..there’s no rush to get her.

Even a task for Bart as if I remember rightly, he worked there to pay back the damage on the window he broke.
I do wish they would give someone an 8 hour task at the outdoor theater. And I’d prefer a freemium character given that premium characters don’t pay out extra premium at the premium building.
I don’t need more 12 hour options, I want more different time options.
Who couldn’t love this episode, I’m not level 57 yet but got it straight away on early access, and my neighbours will confirm those girls have been dancing outside ever since 🙂
Does she remind anyone else of Mom from Futurama?
I bought this in less than a day. I tried to wait and think about it, but I just kept thinking about it 🙂 No regrets.
I don’t have the open air stage but I’ll still get her as soon as I’ve saved up enough donuts. I’ve got a few premium characters but of the ones I don’t got, she’s now top of the list.
Would you guys ever consider doing a campairison of premium charecter/building combos for those of us concerned about getting the most use out of our donuts? I know I could scroll through & compair but it would take forever. Or even maybe adding a side bar tab where there’s just the “should I spend donuts” where they all come up instead of having to load each page & trying to remember the info? I know it seem like it might be a lot of work but, figured it was worth asking. 😁

Instant buy for me as soon as I knew she was made, no regrets. One of my favorite one off characters and episodes. Also, thanks for the heads up about the Open Air Stage. That’s now on my list of future buys outside events.

Bought Belle yesterday – a no brainer really, I was just waiting for the event to end. Since I was in a spending mood, I got Daredevil Bart and the Gorge as well. Definitely a much harder decision. Crazy expensive, HUGE, and only a skin, not a full character. But with so much more space available now I just went for it. Still not regretting it 🙂

PLUS: due to the great questline I have now the possibility to send ~ 70% of my characters on a 24h job in the Java Server constantly 🙂
Got Belle and the MD as soon as I saw them last week. Only been playing about 2 months and didnt want to wait until i made it to 57 if i passed now. Her 4 hour task should had 2 girls on each side of her though.
As a semi-premium player, who mostly spends his donuts during events, this goes onto my “hoping for a Gil rebate deal” list. Classic episode, great character and building, but not an instant must-buy for me.
Along with its of other stuff which I already bought and is now missing through the level update issues I refuse to buy it again .
I’m also tired of reading how everything is all ok now , am I the only one where nothing’s ok , Xperia gone , buildings gone , donuts gone , buildings payout not working etc etc plenty of updates though , all irrelevant ?

Barely hesitated to get the Spring in my Springfield!
(I do think, though, that this should have been the premium item a few levels ago, when Martha Quimby was released, since she apparently worked there once. Could have made a good story to combine the two characters. Glad to finally have it, though!)
I can’t login to what used to be the origins account for my game and I’ve been trying to play my game all day please tell me what I can do I have worked so hard on my game and now I keep getting a message saying my password is wrong and I remembered my correct password please I need help this is so frustrating and just upsetting.Do I have to set up an EA account?
It’s the exact same thing as Origin. Only the visual logo changed. Nothing more. So your name and password should be the same. If you keep having issues, reach out to EA.
Too bad Princess Kashmir doesn’t have a task at the Maison Derriere, I remember her in one of the scenes.
I want this so bad, but in Canada, a boatload has gone up to $119.99 and I just won’t pay it. It need to go back to $100.00 if they want me to buy my annual Halloween/Christmas stash. Otherwise, I’ll be making a loooooot of rail yard donuts.
It won’t trust me in Australia it has been $130 for more than a year and this is due to the economy and how the stores work and co-operate with the economy plus profit
Boo…. Well, last year I bought two boatloads because I had a lot of catching up to do on some of my premium wish list, but I will really have to think if I spend any this year, and if I do, I will definitely only buy one boatload no matter what. EA’s loss. I realize that exchange rates hit everyone hard, but I don’t think their costs have increased much, if any, and I still believe that making these things more affordable across a broader base of users will make more tappers happy and be more profitable for EA. Oh well…..what do I know?

Definitely a must buy for me. I assign a lot of 4 hour tasks, and the “Lead a Dance Number” always brings that wonderful song to mind.

This is one I’ll be picking up as soon as the Halloween and Christmas events are over. It’ll be my first premium building/character combo purchase. The only other premium characters I have are Kearney, SVT (mystery boxes) and Duncan, which was my biggest donut purchase. So excited!! Her outdoor tasks look great.
