Level 58/Every Man’s Dream and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Level 58 arrived in Springfield recently and with it arrived a couple of characters that are part of Fat Tony’s Mob, Johnny Tightlips and Frankie the Squealer, as well as some new buildings & decorations to help improve our Conform-O-Meters!

In addition we also received the Every Man’s Dream Episode tie-in recently.  With a couple of new items impacting our conform-o-meter (but no changes brought to it via that up, just Level 58).

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

Of course with the release of Level 58 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed, so let’s check it out and see what the new requirements are.  So now you’ll have all the information you need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!

Here are the new requirements to maintain a 5-Star Springfield for Level 58

Level Indolence Obedience Consumerism/
    Gluttony
58 600      350       388/421
Tree-hugging
     /Vanity
Righteousness Socialism
53,975/77,620    393 4,206

This time around Consumerism and Gluttony showed no increase, but every other area showed an increase.  Indolence and Obedience increased by 10 points each.  While Tree-Hugging saw a 2,050 point increase this time.  While Vanity also saw an increase, this time of 2,750 points. Righteousness increased by 13 points (once again).  And rounding out the list Socialism once again saw a 156 point increase.

So now let’s take a look at how these new buildings and decorations Level 58 dropped in impact our Conform-o-Meter:

Item Cost Category Points
Mafia Car $420,000
(Base)
Obedience 10
Plato’s Republic Sign $10,000 Vanity 610
Plato’s Republic Column $2,500 Vanity 300
Plato’s Republic Fountain 10 donuts Vanity 100
H.M.O 2,000 FP Consumerism 10
Mulberry Island 2,500 FP Tree-Hugging 100

*Plato’s Republic Casino, the Springfield Country Club and the Chalk Outlines have no impact on the Conform-O-Meter.

And that’s the latest on the Conform-O-Meter requirements for Level 58!  As you can see Level 58 mainly contains items that will help out your Vanity rating, but it’s always nice to see the Friendship Prize helping to boost the Consumerism level!

And now let’s take a look at the couple of new items from the episode tie-in:

Item Cost Category Points
Oedipus Rx $2,500 Consmerism 10
Statue of Burns 50 Donuts Vanity 500

Always nice to have a freemium building boost consumerism….

How is YOUR town doing?  Are you maxed out?  If not what area(s) currently needs a boost?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

  1. My conform-o-meter is at 3628.47%. I used wailing walls, but went completely different from everyone else. I outlined my town with boardwalk fountains. Coolest thing ever. Gotta put the pic up later. Surpring the town hasn’t slowed glitches. Going for 5000%.
    We’ll see.

  2. Frankie the Squealer (Freemium Character – yay!) , no spending Donuts on Mafia Members (saving them for Halloween 2015) wish he was voiced more …

I had to purchase a few Items to increase Tree Hugging & Obedience (wasn’t prepared for this), very grateful for this article since Level 58 occurred in time for the new Season of The Simpsons 🙂

  3. Turns out I spoke too soon about my righteousness being restored. 20 training walls, everyone who can going through prison, the judicial system or policing (does that ever matter) and I’m only at 2.5 stars. No graffiti to clean up and none left by me. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

  4. So, basically, everytime you level up, you need to add more items that pertain to areas of the Conform-o-meter that go down? (which is not a problem) But is that it, in a nutshell?

  5. Thank you very much! Although level 58 has been with us today, overnight I had some graffiti go unattended (got to sleep sometime) and my righteousness dropped to half a star, taking me from a five-star town to a four-star. This was a bit of a shock to the system after a year or so at five and panic and confusion started to set in. Thankfully the Addicts, this post and your previous posts on the conform-o-meter and righteousness were just the thing to restore my blood pressure and my stars to where they were supposed to be.

  6. How come my five star rating dropped when i expanded my land in Springfield heights? I thought the rating was based on level and not amount of land plus level? Did i miss something in a post? It did this once before and i thought it was a glitch when i was a few levels lower, but it happened again.

  7. So I just had to do a reinstall, and went to my settings to turn confirm donut spend on. It was already on, so somewhere in all these updates, I think being on became a default setting. I may be wrong, but it’s never before been on after I did a reinstall, always defaulted to off.

  8. Is there a way to see the numerical value of each part? I’d like to understand how much below the cap I am so I know what I need to buy to improve my star rating. Tree hugging and indolence are both less than 5 stars.

    Thanks

  9. Hi. I was wondering. Can I move my TSTO to a SD card on my phone? And, for that matter, should I?

  10. the only thing that effected me (visually) was my Righteousness went into a half star, I just bought over five training walls and Full Star again.

  11. For some reason when level 58 hit, I was half a star down on Indulence, even though I had already maxed it out. Log in a day or so later, its back to 5 stars, and I didn’t change or add any houses. With that said, loving this level, for the first time, maxed out on 5 stars, just need to work on my bonus, currently only sitting around 71.25%, which seems low to me compared to what I’ve heard, I dunno, maybe it isn’t.

  12. I finally maxed out again, after having to get rid of 600-1000 trees and trade for Minnow Ponds, due to I was crashing all the time. Once I replaced all those trees, I get very few crashes now 😀 … sorry for any Neighbors that had to deal with crashes in my town from early this week to long ago :p

  13. As always, CHECK,YOUR DONUT CONFIRM.
Twice today mine has become “un-checked” and I have paid the price in donuts spent.
Take the time and ensure you are safe.
