Should I Spend Donuts on Beer Stein Wiggum?

Gil has once again returned to Springfield…this time bringing a small sample of Oktoberfest to our games!  The only character added for the event to give us a little Oktoberfest spirit is Beer Stein Wiggum.  Now I know you may be trying to decide if this is worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it!  We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Beer Stein Wiggum to your Oktoberfest Party?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this undercover cop to your festivities!

PS…for those curious, I’m NOT going to to a Should I Buy for the Oktoberfest sign.  It’s a decoration, if you like it get it.  All of the details on it are outlined in the Oktoberfest post, so check that out before you make your decision. However, just remember the sign leaves stores on the 2nd.

Character/Skin: Beer Stein Wiggum
Donut Price: 70 donuts (regular cost) with a 25 donut rebate when purchased, so a net of 45 donuts.

Leaves Our Games on October 6th at 0800 GMT

Pros:
-Comes with a quest line
-Premium character earns 50% more on all cash and xp than a freemium character
-Has some amusing outdoor tasks

Cons:
-If you already have Stonecutter Wiggum, that pays at a premium rate so you don’t really need to spend your donuts for another costume
-Doesn’t come with a building/decoration

Final Thought:
Premium or Freemium:
Personally I think this is a good buy as a premium or freemium player.  At a net of 45 donuts it’s a great pickup to turn a freemium character into a premium character in your game.  The only exception to this would be….if you already have Stonecutter Wiggum and donuts are hard to come by for you.  Then i’d pass on this.

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you of all the Oktoberfest items, this is the one I’d pick up (and probably will).    However, this IS a limited-time item.  So if you’re thinking about getting him make sure you make your final decision before he leaves our games on the 6th.
