10/15 In-Game Update: Halloween of Horror Episode Tie-In

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well it looks like we’ve got ourselves the second episode tie-in of season 27 on our hands!  This year The Simpsons will be doing TWO Halloween episodes (they love it so much)…one canon and one non-canon.  This week’s episode is the cannon episode..taking place in the every day lives of the Simpsons…so naturally we’ve got a little Tie-in to go with it!

As usual I’ll be back with the details very shortly (just have to go through it myself)..more details below the fold.  Know that Marge kicks things off (it auto-started for me).

For right now this is a pretty small episode tie-in.  I suspect things will be added as the days go on.  But for right now it’s basically just a 5 part questline and 1 new freemium item (and a returning premium one).  Here’s a look at what it contains for right now…

And that’s really in for “stuff” in this tie-in…at least for now.  There’s a bunch of other things lurking that seem to be related to this, but we’ll have to wait and see when/how that hits.

Marge Auto-starts

Marge: can we stop by the Kwik-E-Mart?  I need to pick up a few things.
Homer: Do we have to?  I want to get home to the TV.
Lisa: Look at the crowd to get in to the Kwik-E-Mart.
Homer: Crowd?  I wanna get in.  Me first!
Lisa: What are you going to buy?
Homer: I don’t know.  Me! Me! Me first!

Manjula: Apu, this line is too long!  Some people gave up and went home before they were properly gouged! This is too much work for one man.
Apu: I know but this country does not allow child labor.  Even if you have eight of them!
Manjula: True.  But you can hire sullen teenagers.
Apu: Oh, goody.

Apu: Manjula, the teenagers in this town insist on being paid the same as an actual person. Maybe I should pay a living wage for a dependable, quality employee.
Manjula: …
Apu: Just kidding!
Manjula: Oh, you scared me!  I thought you were having a stroke!
Apu: I’ll hire some sketchy transients for next to nothing.

Homer: Apu, what is your clingiest brand of fake cobwebs?
Apu: Ever-web–it can never be completely taken down.  You will be picking fake cobwebs out of your hedge for years to come.
Homer: I want to make sure I have enough.  Do you have a hundred packages?
Apu: I can order you a hundred packages.
Homer: I need a hundred packages of a bunch of things.  Us Springfielders always say, “When it comes to Halloween– More is more.”
Apu: Are my eyes dollar-signs?  I feel like my eyes just turned into dollar-signs…

Manjula: Apu! What are these giant boxes doing in the children’s bedroom?  And where are the children?
Apu: I needed a stockroom.  I moved the Octuplets into the kitchen.  It will build character to learn to live together in a space under the table.

Manjula: Apu, your Halloween side-business has outgrown the Kwik-E-Mart. The Recliner Barn went out of business — you could rent that space for a month and open a pop-up Halloween store.
Apu: What a brilliant idea!  But it will be a lot of work running two stores…
Manjula: You could watch the Octuplets and I could run the two stores.  It would be a nice break for me!
Apu: No, no. I’ll do it.  My stores need their daddy.
