THOH 2015 Calendar: Act Two

Hey there Spookereenos!

We got several Nightmares Roaming our towns, Grown Ups are getting a bit carried away on the Role Playing, and Gummy Bears… err… Gummy Cthulhu’s are squishing all over our Springfield’s

The Treehouse of Horror Halloween Event Act Two has been launched. You know what that means? Time for a nap, after I bug Sandra a lil bit of course, and BigPhil now has to write EVERY POST I would normally write (Sandra volunteered him). Seems fair, right? 😉

Now I know some of you are stressing on just HOW you are going to get all these New Act Two Personal Prizes. Well don’t have a Cow Man!!! IT’S CALENDAR TIME!!

Clockwork Bart 1

As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER Act Two releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Event. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE Act Two ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.

Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” to be behind, but as you progress in Act TWO you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. So just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get.

THOH 2015 Calendar Act 2

Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 14 days based off of approximately 663 Gummiesico_thoh2015_eldergodcandy_md a day.

Exact same as last Event, you will see TWO totals of the Gummies in your game as you play through the Event. The Main one in your game at the lower Left side will be your TOTAL amount earned to date.

If you go into the Event Menu (Trophy Icon) and look at the Prizes, you will see ONLY the amount needed for the current item you are working to get. Here are those individual totals.

Crafting Resources/ 180
Mechanical Ghost/360
Clockwork Bart/ 1620
Elder Blimp/ 2880
Tenta-Corp HQ/ 4230

Total up all of these… and you get the Act Two TOTAL amount of 9270.

Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Act 1 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting Gummies ico_thoh2015_eldergodcandy_md.

We have the 5 Daily Challenges in our games now that award you 20 Donuts on completion of all 5, so I believe that is our “Bonus Donuts” for this Event. So once you get all the prizes, any additional Gummy Cthulhu’s are just extras, nothing more.

There you have it. A Calendar of Gummies ico_thoh2015_eldergodcandy_md to keep you on track for all 5 Personal Prizes.

What do you think of it so far? Where are YOU in the game? How are your totals coming along? Craving some Gummies now? Let us know.

  1. Hello all,
Question regarding the crafting supplies (eggs, brains, etc.) and prizes!
Come the end of act 2, does anyone happen to know if a) we’ll lose the crafting supplies we’ve generated, and b) whether the spooky house and wailing wall will still be available to redeem in act 3?

I figured at the beginning of act 2 that I had a massive excess of crafting supplies so redeemed a few houses and walls, only to realize that I needed them to get the skins for the Simpsons house, K-E-M, etc.. It fortunately didn’t prove to be too big an issue, and I’ve ended up with a big surplus again but don’t want to lose out when act 3 starts.

  2. I’ve just picked up the final prize with more than 9 days left.

Of course, I’ll keep spawning zombies and building wailing walls, and I’ll do the shopkeepers tasks when they become available.
But, given that the wailing wall thing is probably a mistake, and there are no bonuts, what *should* I be doing for the next 9 days? (In the game please – there’s plenty I should be doing outside of the game!)
As far as I can see there’s no incentive at all to even log into the game in the next 9 days, (shopkeeper and railyard aside)

  3. I have no idea how you guys do what you do each and every day. Some of these comments made me want bang my head against a wall. I’m outta here for now. Thanks for everything, Addicts!!!!!

  4. My game has gone back to the beginning. My donuts sre still there but nothing else. I was level 77 with about 17mill. Not really wanting to start ova. Can any1 help?

    • Well…there is no level 77. So your off there…

But if you hard close and restart or uninstall/reinstall it should come back. If not you can contact EA…your game isn’t lost as long as you have an origin/ea id

  5. Im having the problem with Krusty Burger, tried tapping on the 3 I have and the quest just pops up and closes, I have closed the game and still no luck, any ideas

  6. I’m not even trying particularly hard and I’m somehow 4 days ahead. I don’t get it.
I’ve got side quests going on – with Homer, Bart, Grandpa and Marge, I’m prioritising the rail yard for all the kids that can recycle, and I’m miles ahead.
I think they’ll realise they’ve made this one a bit *too* easy – I can see the numbers for Act3 getting changed (they might even change Act 2, they’ve done that kind of thing before).
I’m not complaining though, not at all!

    • The first Act seemed pretty tricky for a few people. Lots of people on here missed out on the Gate to Nowhere so maybe EA adjusted the numbers for Act 2, and Act 3 will be just right!
Like you, I’m all about the Railyard and Shopkeepers tasks: gots to get those donuts. I had to pack up my monorail though because of the tech issues so I’m looking forward to unpacking it when this one is done!

      • Yes my monorail is in storage too. I’ve got about 20 days until my corn is ready then I think I’m going to nuke my town – by then I’ll have a bit more track and it’ll be operational again.

  7. Hello! Thanks to the Addicts for another job. To be honest, I’m underwhelmed and occasionally frustrated by this whole Event and dismayed at how long it is. It probably comes down to the prizes for me: there’s nothing I want in the quests, Act prizes or upgrades – or even premium items. The technical problems don’t help either: the juddering is really tiresome. Hopefully Act Three comes through with some more attractive items and the tech problems are resolved. Sorry to come on and rant. I just want to know if anyone else feels this way or has suggestions for getting excited again.

  8. My halloween calender is all messed up. I ended up in the hospital for surgery on October 19th and just got home last night (October 21st). What’s funny is, I can’t seem to get my brain wrapped around the quests because of all the great drugs I’m currently taking. They have left me utterly confused. I figure though, if I don’t get everything it will be alright and just go with the flow for right now. I’m going to use surgery and drugs as an excuse to not getting everything. ;P

  9. I already have 2102 donuts somehow lol

  10. Hi, guys!

So, here’s the deal: I noticed that the amount of gummies to unlock the Elder Blimp (in my game) is 2880, and not 5040, as stated in the post.
Did EA change anything, with all these updates running?

    Thanks 😀

  11. One Question is it a bug that to get Clockwork Bart i need just 1 600 gummies.

  12. Whats the questline for clockwork bart?

  13. I hope we can eventually place the mechanical ghost in Krustyland.

  14. I’m somehow way above target, despite not even having Marge yet!! Level 16 & behind since I’ve been focusing on the event. Just keeping as many kids as possible at the fire while advancing my main quest line and made Homer “gather at the Simpsons house” three times by himself–ha. I am excited though because I just got comic book guy, so I should be able to stay on target with Marge coming in the next couple of days. The only question I have is when does the Squidport quest show up? I’ve been looking through walkthroughs and haven’t seen it, but I just hit 16 and whatever quest it is never triggered for me.

  15. Is anyone else not getting gummies, only XP, from Youngsters making S’mores at the campfire? I also don’t get a gummies from telling a spooky story unless it’s the one that correlates to my campfire upgrade

  16. The first few prizes sped through because you got a lot of gummies for the quest completions. Once you are done with those you are then just relying on the nightmares and adults again.
I think that the last 2 prizes are going to be as tight to get as the previous ones and it is harder to be efficient as you have 4 different timers across the 4 buildings

  17. Although it may start to wear thin over such a long period, I’m generally okay that there are still 26 more days to go in this event EXCEPT that I really don’t want to wait that long to get the unemployment office back…I really, really, really miss it!

    • Oh it came back today. With the update. It’s on the top of the question corner post..

      • Yes, but don’t they charge us to use it? And that IRS, I was dismayed to discover took 2 million and had negligible difference in money collecting radius, almost nil by my test. However? the 1st level was amazing! Very grateful for that! I just don’t think I want to pay so great amount for such a small amount of improvement and I certainly can’t afford to go to level 9. As for the employment office charging us well usually its just that I’m more strategic about which jobs I want people to take and no I don’t like being charged for that either so I just rather set up their jobs when I can, maybe if I get to use it more of I will feel more comfortable with using it I just don’t want to get someone like Homer or Lisa locked into a task that you can’t get them out of. Question: does the employment office lock Homer and Lisa into 24 hour task if you send the other ones into them? I guess if you sent them into tasks before you use the employment office maybe you can avoid them being involved well anyway I just get worried using it finally I do have to say after using this wonderful game from my wonderful favorite show for couple of years now this must be one of the most complicated quests that we’ve ever been put on I spent the first part of act 1 rather befuddled & lost some time out of the gate but I’ve loved a lot about it especially having Kodos in his fairy princess costume it’s priceless!

  18. Have just unlocked Clockwork Bart, loving this skin, and I treated myself to Raven Bart, very cute but now I can’t find him as he’s so tiny, sure he will flutter by in my game again.

  19. Really wish I had paid attention and saved my crafting supplies instead of making 40 trees. I feel so far behind now 🙁

  20. what does the new update in the app store do ? i dont notice anything different

  21. This act is above par in my book! I love the prizes, the questlines, the facades, all of it! I feel that there is plenty of time to get done with this act.Plenty of ways to gather resources, for myself anyway. While i was reluctant on throwing my donuts down in exchange for the snake logs,i did it anyway. I grabbed 2 of them. Every little bit truly helps!! However, i have indeed spent a pretty penny on this game so i do understand that things may be movin along a bit slower for other tappers who just dont have the dollars to throw down or do but dont want to. By all means i am not bragging, only putting it out there.i dont smoke, drink or drug myself up so this is simply how i spend my extra moneys.475 or so dollars deep and ive had a blast!!!
