It’s Halloween in Springfield! And one of our favorite aliens has a costume available in our stores to get in on the Halloween fun! Now I know you may be trying to decide if these are worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Fairy Kodos to your Halloween party? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this wand waving Alien to your Springfield!
Character/Skin: Fairy Kodos
Donut Price: 40 donuts
Fairy Kodos leaves stores November 4th
Pros:
-Comes with a quest line
-Premium character earns 50% more on all cash and xp than a freemium character. The skin keeps that earning rate.
-Has all outdoor tasks, and one (spread glitter) that’s hilarious
-Reasonably priced for a costume
Cons:
-Will not help with the THOH Event
-Does not have a full set of tasks, just two tasks. (8hr and 24hr)
-24hr task requires Smithers.
Final Thought:
Premium or Freemium:
Honestly I think this one is great. The questline is funny and it gives Kodos some amusing outdoor tasks. At 40 donuts it’s reasonably priced and personally I think it’s worth it for this costume. Especially if you earned Kodos for free via crafting during this year’s THOH. While it is a bummer Fairy Kodos only has two tasks, the fact that they’re both outdoors is a nice bonus. This is one I’d say if you have the donuts, go for.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell I’ll most likely pick this one up. However, this IS a limited-time item. So if you’re thinking about getting it make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games at the end of Act 2.

Personally, I think this is an excellent buy if got Kodos for free this year. Because if you did, you didn’t get the crashed spaceship, which means unlike the rest of Springfield’s inhabitants, she doesn’t have a 24 hour task. Fairy Kodos does, and since the costume is Premium, you receive a premium rate upon completion. Just my two cents 🙂
I’m still on the fence for this one… I’d really like to get the skin, but I’m worried about crashing or not being able to get into my game. Has there been a patch for that yet?
It depends on the Player. Same is with just regular Crashing. For instance, on my GS4… I don’t have the issue.

Even though everyone seems to really enjoy it, I am WAY too annoyed at having spent donuts for Kodos and have her now return for free. No way I am shilling out more. I thought things that were crafted in previous years returned for donuts, not the other way round.
I hope Act 3 has some good crafting. Other than the impossible tower there really hasn’t been anything new to craft.
How can Kodos original and premium 8 hour task earn the same money and xp. I thought it was supposed to be 50% more
It’s premium. 50% more than non premium characters. Kodos is considered premium because it was premium last year, so they won’t take that away for all the people that shelled out the donuts for it last year…
Hello, I have a question about Kodos, not the costume: ‘Do unguilty’ (the 24-hour task). It says you need one or another UFO, but I just bought the Victorian UFO and this task is still locked. Which ufo do I need for this task and can anyone do something with the Victorian ufo?
The crashed UFO, but it’s no longer available. (was not brought back for this event)
For the second part of your question, the Victorian UFO can be used by both Kang and Kodos, one task which is shared (check Kang’s list).
Does anyone know if the Fairy Kodos 8hr task is causing game issues? I bought her skin today and put her on that task and all of a sudden I can’t log into my game anymore. I get to the Tapped Out screen fine but once I tap the donut to continue, it spins for a few seconds and then just closes the game out. If I logout I can play anonymously, so it only has to do with my account it seems. Any ideas? I’ve tried closing the game completely several times and just now re-installed it. Not sure what to do next other than contact EA which I really hate to do. :\
I wanted this skin the second I saw it, and since I earned Kodos for free during the event and earned 40 free donuts thanks to the evil shop owner, I decided to buy it yesterday. I was too amused when I realized that she really FLIES through my town. Worth every single donut.
Tinker bell Kodos is just too funny. Wish it didn’t get so much in the way and drag you back across town every time you get too close, though.
I am thrilled to finally have a task for Smithers that I enjoy!

I’ve never bought a skin before, and I’ve been contemplating this for a few days, but with the shopkeepers donuts and the donuts I got from the Frink deal, I’m gonna get this one. Still so happy I got the Duff Brewery, Duffman, and the Aztec!!!
I just bought the fairy costume… I imagined that she would be flying all around the town… but she is practically just hovering in one spot… she very very slowly makes her way from left to right… is that what she’s supposed to be doing? I don’t get why they made it so slow
