Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The 2015 THOH Event hit our a couple of weeks ago and with it arrives a whole bunch of new quests. Main quests and side quests, loads of things to keep us all busy tappin’ away over the next few weeks!
We’ve covered the main and basic side quests for Act 2 in our Turbo Tappin’ post here, but within those side quests there are even more quests. Especially if you make premium purchases! One of those premium quests revolves around Fairy Kodos’ fun little questline!
So let’s take a look at Fairy Kodos’ questline now…
Under the Tentacles Pt. 1
Fairy Kodos starts
Make Fairy Kodos Flirt with Human Males- 8hrs, Earns $420, 105xp
Under the Tentacles Pt. 2
Fairy Kodos starts
Reach Level 25 and Build Burns Manor
Make Fairy Kodos and Smithers Spread Glitter Around Town- 24hrs, Earns $1,600, 375xp
Under the Tentacles Pt. 3
Fairy Kodos starts
Make Smithers Cage Dance- 24hrs, Earns $600, 150xp
Under the Tentacles Pt. 4
Fairy Kodos starts
Make Burns Stage a Daring Rescue- 2hrs, Earns $110, 27xp
And that completes Fairy Kodos’ questline!
If you purchase Fairy Kodos, but decide not to work on this questline so you can focus on making s’mores that’s ok. This questline will hang out in your task book even after the event ends. So don’t worry about trying to rush to finish it…it’ll still be there. So keep on making those gummies! 🙂

My campfire isn’t spawning nightmares sense act 3. Is this normal? It only spawns them after the kids are done.

I am having the same issue that was mentioned above with Fairy Kodos. The flirt task won’t complete. Game wants 2 donuts to finish even though it says complete. I tried the Simpson house skin change suggestion and it didn’t help. I quit, resynched. Don’t know what else to try. She won’t finish her task.

I tried switching the facade. It didn’t help. I opened a ticket with EA. the specialist was going to roll back the task. While I was waiting I switched what was spawning from the camp fire and it finished. They did have me spend the 2 speed up donuts, which they gave back.
My game does NOT give a have fun with cameras option. I have the Kill-E Mart skin. It says “have fun with WINE” is this the same thing???
No. Fun with wine is at Moe’s, and a 2 hr task. Kill-E-Mart is a 4hr task to have Fun with cameras. But if it’s the task at the kill-e-mart try sending them on it, see if it clears.
How many regular tasks of Fairy Kodos are done outdoors or visible, and which ones?
(Bummer when you get a skin or character, and all or most of their tasks are done indoors. Or their only outdoor task is linked to a primary character such as Bart or Krusty, and you need them for Heights, Monorail or Event tasks. Glad to see Mr Teeny got more jobs, but they’re all indoors, so I never send him on anything now. Wish he could like, swing from a lamp post or at the least take a smoke break or something, and wish Stampy the elephant could do something outside like run amok., or drink water from a fishing hole, or even bathe (throwing water over himself with his trunk….outdoors)
Just like tap ball skins. I set up my whole Tap ball area for players that have outdoor tasks to do them there, but since they didn’t continue “Practice Tap Ball” task for the skins, I can’t get my players over there to do other outdoor tap ball tasks.

The quest was good for a laugh. Pity there wasn’t an animation for Burns’ Daring Rescue, but you can’t have everything. Smithers ‘n’ Kodos are going to be scattering glitter 24/7 from now on!

I had an entirely different experience with the shopkeeper’s challenge. It popped up this morning and said “squish 30 bunnies”. I had an hour to go on the skeletons I was working on, so I figured I’d switch to the rabbits when that was done. Surprise!- when it came time to reset the campfire, I got credit for squishing bunnies without ever producing one. I’ll take it; for once, EA screwed up to my benefit.
The Fairy’s cool I guess, but why is Shopkeeper’s Challenge back open again and on bunny squishing challenge it gives you credit for skeletons,zombies, and snakes. but nothing for the bunnies?

Anyone else having trouble completing part 1 of Fairy Kodos? It’s showing as complete at the Simpsons House, but whenever I click go-to, it just asks me to spend a couple of donuts to finish (which doesn’t work). I tried different skins for the house, synchronizing, etc, but nothing works – thoughts?
And thanks for the knowledge on the daily task – like everyone else I thought I was going crazy!

Hey alissa, on my game it says “squish bunnies” for the first day of the shopkeepers challenges, but when I squish them it doesn’t register, so I tried squishing skeletons and that worked (and the artwork next to “squish bunnies” is a pot of skeletons) is it just me or is the caption wrong? thanks.

Fairy Kodos always appears to fly into an area I’m tapping and redirects me back to the Simpsons house. Somewhat annoying. However this task and his task with Smithers are funny.
I’m glad I’m not the only one. I just stopped doing it, seeing as how there’s no benefit to the mission, as well as the annoying bug.
Since I’ve gotten 40 free donuts completing the shopkeeper challenges I had to buy this skin for Kodos. It’s a must buy and kang and kodos are my favorite characters as well. I’m loving the shop challenges!
OT question, but: Today’s Shopkeeper Challenge is squishing bunnies – but I am squishing and they are not registering. When I tap ‘Do It’ it takes me right back to the campfire, as if I need to spawn bunnies, when they are in fact hopping all over my town.
Even stranger: In my b-town I am spawning skeletons and they do raise my bunny count at the Shopkeeper’s – does this mean the text is wrong, and we should actually be squishing skeletons today?

Just woke up to new daily challenge “squish 30 rabbits” and it’s not registering any of my squishes… I’ve Tapped about 80 bunnies and it hasn’t registered one on the challenge, they do count towards my campfire though.

EA have oopsed with daily challenge – wants bunnies but pays on skeletons? Another event … Another programming error that shouldn’t occur. I’d be embarrassed if it were me.

I love having fairy kodos floating about my town…but the return to simpsons house is a bit annoying! I hope they do something special with her at Christmas ☆
