The Bad Dream House made a return to our games recently and if you already had Devil Flanders, a fun little questline pops up with it. This questline will only trigger if you have Devil Flanders and the Bad Dream House. However, if you only have the Bad Dream House you’ll still be able to send the characters on tasks there (Willie, Bart, Lisa, Homer & Comic Book Guy) to animate the house this year. And we all know one of the best things about the Bad Dream House is it’s animation…

Im trying to get my bad dream house to iluminate. Any ideas? Not seeing task to sleep at dream house???
Wondering the same thing. Somebody said the Wise Guy had a task, but I’m not seeing it. Disappointed if there is no task there. One of the cooler animations.
He’s got to be close to that building..
There is a task. His 12 hr task but he has to be close to the dream house. He goes into the house that is closer to him. So male sure the bad dream house is that house. Good Luck!
For THOH 2016: BAD DREAM HOUSE: The below comments are correct. You can, at least, get the house to animate with the Wise Guy. His 12 hr quest needed is Check the Plumbing. I found him walking the streets, so I packed him & his Googolplex came along & was packed as well. I moved nearby buildings out of the way so he didn’t have any extra choices. Then I placed the Googolplex right next to the Bad Dream House, quickly selected the task & he walked right to it. Love, love this house! I did check the characters that had previously activated the house in 2015 & I didn’t see any tasks worded like last year…that’s when I came running here to get the scoop, hehe. I hope that if any extra characters are found, people will add them here.
I just got Devil Flanders and got the Nightmare House a week ago. How do I get the quest line to start?
It may not…it may just be something that was a bonus for players who had both already…
Ok, so I bought the bad dreams house yesterday but didn’t still haven’t had any tasks pop up to use it 🙁
Also I’m still not getting awaiting moderation message when I post…
No quest will pop. But if you look at those characters they’ll have a task there
What’s the name of the task to go there?
And I am wondering, I need a weird press account just to know I left a comment for moderation?

I wish I could get these tasks to initiate. This is a resurrection of a series of tasks from the first Halloween event 3 years ago, and is the only non-premium event task I was unable to complete. I started playing the game a few days before the event launched so working up the levels and completing the event tasks was pretty daunting. There was a task that came up separately but at the same time as the send Homer, Bart, and Lisa task that sent Marge to the BDH, that you had to complete in order to do the last Devil Flanders task. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able build Moe’s and unlock Marge until a few days after the event ended. Still, I remember the event with much fondness.
As a side, I like to imagine how the following events would work if I just started playing the game. This THOH would be brutal on a new player. In the beginning, I would have only Lisa and Milhouse for the campfire, and by Act 2 I might have Martin and Bart if I found this site and figured out what I was doing. With limited in-game cash to start, getting the Official Halloween HQ as part of the episode tie-in would have been difficult if not impossible at $13000 or so IGC, and would have set me way back on building the regular buildings in order to work up through the levels and get more characters into my game. I don’t envy EA the task of trying to balance all these factors in order to put an event together that works for everyone. With that in mind, I am enjoying this event and saving a lot of donuts waiting for some content I might want.
Woo Hoo! I didn’t know yet that characters had tasks there, I placed mine next to my steel mill across the street from Krusty Lu studios with the Radioactive Man statue and Death Mountain. With them all lit up it’s like my own little underground rave scene in my warehouse district. Now the Stonecutters won’t be the only ones with their own little party hangout.
I’m really thinking about getting it but also like the green glob monster. Can’t think of the name right now.
In my game, Marge also had the 12-hour Sleep at Bad Dream House task.
Buying this neatly wiped out my stash of sprinklies, but I think it was worth it. I don’t have Devil Flanders, but hopefully if he shows up later in the event I’ll have accumulated enough more to get him.

I am fairly new to the game. At level 10. I just want some neighbors. No one on my Facebook plays. I thought I was alone until I googled how many people play Simpsons tapped out. So how can I get neighbors?

If you have Devil Flanders and have completed the questline, does the 12-hour task at BDH stay stuck at the top of the menu? I have BDH, but not Devil Flanders (way too expensive) and this has become a really annoying thing. I have costumes for all of those characters, but sometimes they switch back to normal and I accidentally select the 12-hour task.
The bad dream house isn’t for a skin for a character, it’s for the original character. And nope doesn’t sit at the top of the task list
I’m having this issue, too. Everyone who can go to Bad Dream House has it stuck to the top of the task list. I accidentally sent Comic Book Guy because of it. It is a cool animation, so I don’t really mind, but I hope it’s not like that forever. I do not have Devil Flanders, so I wonder if that has anything to do with the glitch.
I have both Bad Dream House and Devil Flanders, and the 12-hour task is stuck to the top of the task list too.
Halloween is over, can’t this event follow suit?
Event doesn’t end until the 17th…so you’ll be reliving it for a while
Is there something I’m missing to start this questline? I have both Devil Flanders and the Bad Dream House but this hasn’t popped up at all. In fact, if I do the Emergency Satanic Bible Study, Devil Flanders goes to his house instead.
He’s supposed to go to his house for that task.
The task just popped for me when I went into my game.
Its not staring for me either. I have Devil Flanders and tried storing and replace the Bad Dream House, and going to Krustyland and back, but nothing happened.
Could have ended….not 100% sure it worked in my game, but that was over a week ago
