Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
As many of you have pointed out this morning, 2 new premium items arrived in our stores. Two costumes for characters many of you have been asking how to get for a while now…Acorn Kirk and Squirrel Luann!
We’ll break down the full pros and cons on a should I buy post a little later today (I forgot Act 2 ends tonight and Act 3 starts tomorrow..so this Should I Buy will have to be put off for a little bit)…but here are a few basics…
Acorn Kirk- 70 Donuts. Comes with a questline. Pays out at a premium rate when doing Halloween tasks (at the Simpson House)
Squirrel Luann- 80 Donuts. Comes with a questline. Pays out at a premium rate when doing Halloween tasks (at the Simpson House)…but Luann already does that.
So there you have a quick rundown on each. Again I’ll be back later today with full pros and cons on each in our Should I Buy post…but this should give you a quick overview on each.

I got the Kirk costume because the animations look funny and he becomes premium with it. I’d like Luann’s too, but I’m going to hold off since she’s already premium. I learned my lesson buying a Duffman costume that never gets used. Also, I can’t help but wonder if her costume will be craftable in next year’s event. This year I’ve had a bad taste in my mouth seeing so many things I paid donuts for in previous years being freebies this year.
I’ve been looking forward to both these costumes ever since I saw them in spoiler posts.
I love funny visuals, in fact the funny visuals are the only thing I get exited about these days…

Just a heads up… if you purchase the Kirk costume, you can only use it if you also have Luann. You go on one 2 hour task, and then beyond her it requires her to complete the questline and unlock his tasks. I’m getting the runaround on EA chat right now just trying to get my refund!!
Yes I also purchased acorn Kirk and didn’t know that you also need Luann to use it, well this bites!
I saw that two new characters were added to the store, so I checked them out…never should’ve done that, cause what has been seen, cannot be UNseen. Luann in a squirrel costume? Ugh…it’s bad enough, there’s a blurry version of her outside the Simpsons residence, when I send her there to do the halloween task, but Kirk? I’m gonna need brain bleach to help me forget that horrific image. >.<
Halloween is suppose to be spooky, and scary…not traumatizing.
She should be avail in donuts so she can show off her costume. Unblurred,except for gatjering at the Simpson house.
I bought Kirk. I figured that I had not seen anything worth buying up to this point, so why not? I have had Luann since she came out, but I will not pay 80 donuts for something that should be 30-40 like Kodos’s “premium” skin for a “premium” character. Over-all cool costumes though! Looking ahead to Act 3 can’t wait to see if Devil Flanders returns!!
I love them and I want both but that’s a lot of donuts. I can justify it for Kirk but 80 donuts for a skin that has no gain for a premium character is harder for me. I guess EA knows they are selling *it* and that *it* sells.
I only had an interest in the squirrel outfit, even though I don’t have Luann, but 80 seems a bit high. 60 for Lisa… 10 to 15 over that makes whatever perverted sense that it does… but pushing it into the 20 over range… I think that’s the line for me.
Plus, I am just waaaay less interested now that Halloween is over. Dumb moves, EA.
