The 2015 THOH Event hit our devices recently and it appears that it’s setup much like previous events..in various Acts.
Act 3 started earlier today and runs until November 17th. And as usual a questline is provided to help guide you along the way. So let’s take a look at the Turbo Tappin’ version of the THOH questline for Act 3….
In order to see the Act 3 questline you must have completed the Act 3 questline, The Very Young Folk and Springfield Horror.
Now let’s get to tappin’…
The Sandwich Horror
Homer starts
Make Adults Gather at the Simpsons House- x5. 8hrs, Earns $275, 70xp freemium and $420, 105xp premium. Can send Homer, Marge, Grampa, Kirk and Luann
Completed Task Earns $100, 100 
The Blameless City Pt. 1
Auto starts
Tap M’nthster to Knock Him Out of the Sky- x10. Tap him 10 times. Earns 5 each tap.
Completed Task Earns $100, 100
The Blameless City Pt. 2
Auto starts
Defeat the M’nthster at the Campfire- Send Martin, Lisa, Milhouse and Bart to defeat the M’nthster at the Campfire. 4hrs, earns 4 (8 for premium) each. You will need to fully defeat him. So if you have all freemium characters you may need to send them multiple times.
Completed Task Earns $100, 100
The Blameless City Pt. 3
Auto start
Tap on the Sunken Temple- x10. Tap on it 10 times to defeat the M’nthster. Each time will earn you 10
Completed Task Earns $100, 100
After 12hrs the M’nthster will reappear at the Sunken Temple for you to defeat.
The Blameless City Pt. 4
Lisa starts
Tap Star Spawn- x10. Each tap will yield you 2 crafting currency.
Completed Task Earns $100, 100
Something Strange in the Neighborhood
Bart starts
Send Kids to Hunt Nightmares- x10. 8hrs. Each kid will generate a different nightmare here’s the list:
-Bart, Database, Gino, Sherri and Terri & Laura spawn Skeletons. 2 for freemium 4 for premium 8 for Sherri and Terri
-Milhouse, Ralph, Rod, Todd, Shawna, Jessica and Uter spawn Bunnies. 2 for Freemium 4 for Premium
Martin, Michael, Kearney, Greta, Jimbo and Squeaky Voiced Teen spawn Zombies. 2 for Fremium 4 for Premium
-Lisa, Hugo, Nelson, Dolph and Janey spawn snakes. 2 for Freemium 4 for premium
Completed Task Earns $100, 100
And that completes everything for now in the main Act 3 questlines….
Now let’s get back to the side quests….

WTC- what the crap. I just defeated m’nthster at the fire which I have been doing since the start of act 3 and It restarted part 3 unless I never finished act 3 which couldnt be possible because I’ve been sending kids to hunt nightmares for the last sleek. Anyone know what’s up? I still need 100 apples to get the last prize ;(

Defeat the M’nthster and sink the sunken temple 10 times..
Should I have got this before today… I’ve been finished all the quests for a long time..

I just got it too! Seems like the bit of dialogue was meant for the very end of the event, but his Blameless City Part 5 seems like it should have been released earlier. I wonder if there’s any other dialogue we’re missing, like an actual conclusion to the M’nthster story instead of just fading away in a few hours =/

How do I defeat M’nthster?? I have fought him over 10 times at the fire which he then goes to the temple. I I click on the spawn until the time is up, hit him 10 times to get the candy apples then he goes back to the fire. I’m gonna scream!!! What am I doing wrong???
Try basics and contact EA
Let me see if I understand you… The monster is at the temple. You tap him and get caramel apples. He goes to the campfire. Your kids fight him (usually takes two rounds) and he goes back to the temple. You tap him and get more caramel apples. He goes away and you get star spawn to tap. 12 hours later (or so) you repeat this whole thing from the beginning.
If that’s what’s happening, then nothing is wrong…that’s how you play this act. It will continue this loop until the end of Act 3.
I’m having difficulty defeating m’nthster. I have defeated him at the fire 5 times now and every time he goes to the temple. I tap on him 10 times get the apples then he goes back to the fire and I have to do it all over again. What am I doing wrong???
Very odd but may be in your favor as you don’t have to wait 12hrs for respawn. Try some basics and contact EA if keeps happening
Is the only way to upgrade the campfire in act 3 by sending the kids to the brown house and visiting neighbors?

I’m not getting rewarded with skeletons anymore anyone else having trouble? They go to brown house and I get the snakes etc but Bart and Martin aren’t being rewarded, I need it for the daily task

Just saw this post but if anyone is having trouble just start the job for the specific nightmare you want. Ex if you need skeletons just start job for those who give skeletons. If you do all the jobs together I’ve found they only spawn one type of nightmare. Hope this wasn’t confusing and helps.
Yes! I need skeletons. I can only get 2 and they don’t pop up when you harvest the kids in the brown house. You have to search for them and they’re hard to find.
I had the same problem, make another brown house and put Bart and Martin in in away from the others then click it separately.
Yes! I am having troubles getting anything that I “need”, it was bunnies for a little bit, and now its skeletons.
Same here! When I send Bart AND Database, I only get 2 skeletons and I get two tentacle monsters. If I send only Database, I get only the tentacle monsters. I’ve noticed the same with other characters not spawning what they are meant to. Receiving only tentacle monsters means that its also slowing down my progress with getting candy apples. Now only a few days left and not sure if I will make the final prize. Fewer and fewer of the kids are actually spawning the nightmares they are meant to. Definitely won’t manage to finish the quest to upgrade my campfire further. I need 198 skeletons still! It wanted me to upgrade however many more times to result in being level 25. I don’t know what the prize is for finishing that quest chgain, but I’m going to miss out on it.
However in the information it says that it takes 8hrs to do the hunt for monsters task. But for me it shows 4hrs. So maybe this is the reason for the bug? I’m really struggling to get these last 20 doughnuts because of this.
I havent been playing this game long about 2 months and seem to be struggling a bit on this update it seems the same few charictors are tasked to do everything ime stuck with campfire at level 19 as need 200 bunnies to upgrade millhouse does 2 evey 4 hours in brown house it cant do 1 st daily challange as need 28 skelitons bart does 2 every 4 hrs cant do second daily challange as monster just keeps falling on campfire doesnt return to temple of light and cant do 3 rd becuase he not going to temple of light n wont hibernate he doesnt spawn light spawn and unfortunetly i cant sit on the game all day long dont think work would be to happy is anyone else having same issues

That’s a side quest, so it’s not critical if it doesn’t launch for you. What you need is to do the MAIN questlines for Act 3 (Sandwich horror starts it).
If you already crafted them they won’t trigger, they’ll just auto complete and you might have missed them
How many times do you go between the camp fire and the temple? I’ve been doing it for days now.
Until he goes into hibernation, then repeat. You want it to keep going as this is one of your main sources of Candy Apples for this Event.
Not sure if someone has an explination or link (or if I should merely contact EA). I have been stuck o. “Have parents gather at the Simpson’s house”. It shows 4/5 continually. I don’t have Luann, dont have enough dounuts for her (sitting at 63, but that’s from the shopkeepers challenges). I keep sending adults there (well the applicable ones) and it never changes from 4/5) at the sametime I can’t get the kids story to continue with Mnsthr$&@$% so am stuck on the weekley challenge.
Any help will be appreciated, just didn’t want to find myself against a “pay wall”.

I had all the Springfield kids roasting s’mores when the monster came to the campfire, and now they are permanently stuck there!
And since you can’t do anymore campfire quests or even store/sell the campfire, I’m pretty sure they are going to be stuck there until the event is over.
Store each kids building it should pull them out. Only Lisa will be stuck.

How do i craft the UBO, it is not in my crafting list. I have complete all 9 tasks of the Proper Rigellian Thanksgiving.
Should be in your crafting list. Be sure you don’t already have it….
If not contact EA if you don’t see it.

Ok first I’m gonna be cranky and vent. But before I do that I want to say I love this game. And I LOVE this site thank you Bunny Alissa and Wookie 😊. Now in my opinion this Halloween was extremely lame😢. I have been playing since the beginning I miss the trick or treating, the toilet papering your neighbors the zombies (not these zombies) Ok TY I done lol bring on Christmas 😊
What exactly is a “Star Spawn”? Ive tapped all 4 of the “nightmares” but I still have yet to get any of the 10 star spawn taps needed…

When I visit my neighbors towns, there is a weird monster appearing there. I can’t figure out what it looks like but it’s not one of the four you can make with the campfire. What is it and how can I get it in my town?
Id have to see what it looks like. The description weird monster doesn’t help me determine what it is

I’m curious: does the nightmare spawn rate that the campfire upgraded now apply to the star spawn… er, spawn rate? In other words, if star spawn are appearing instead of nightmares, is that rate related to the rate the nightmares used to appear at?
I’ve already like defeated mnthster three times and still star spawn says that it gonna appear in 12 hrs….can somebody just tell me how many times is mnthster to be defeated??….please help 🙁

I have the same issue and have now defeated him 5 times but he keeps coming back!
It is programmed for him to come back over and over. Just keep tapping to earn candy apples.
I started fighting the monster but I still need more snakes and skeletons and stuff. Did I just screw myself over? Will I get a chance to have them tell stories still? Thanks!

If you listen to the right song while watching M’thnster at the campfire, it looks like he’s dancing.
So unless I’m confused Im totally up the creak on this act. Based on the number of kids I have Im only earning 30 apples every 8 hours. Thats 90 a day assuming I make all 3 rotations. Then add lets say 150 on average for the play bonus were at 250. Where on earth are the other 500 apples a day supposed to come from?
EA lowered the time to 4hrs now…so that’ll double the apple production each day from that. The rest come from defeating the M’nthster. You earn 100 for defeating him at the sunken temple…and then some from the campfire etc.
Is it likely EA will add more items to be crafted?
I’m going to have a bazillon items to craft as it is

Hi! I think I’m stuck in the pt 2 questline. I already defeated M’nthster in the campfire but he isn’t going to the temple, he stays in the camp and I have to send the kids to battle him again. Am I missing something?
Did you defeat him in the 16hrs? If you don’t it resets and you have to defeat him again…
This is happening to me as well. My temple has disappeared and it’s a light beam. Is this a glitch? Getting a bit frustrated now
No. It’ll reappear in 12hrs. That’s what happens when you defeat the M’nthster

How many times do you have to fight and defeat mnthster to move forward in questline. I seem to be stuck at campfire (4 freemiums fighting. Defeated once and came right back to campfire after defeat. Is he supposed to go to the thing in the water?).

It needs a hit of 10. It seems to be random, the number of hits from each character.
Me too elder. I have sent 4 freemiums enough where I thought I defeated him. He was big on screen and I had to tap him. I think I have sent the 4 like 3 times at least. The comments seems to indicate a time limit.???

My kid characters have glitched. Says they are all making smores but when I click on the campfire there’s no kids there. It’s been well over 12 hours. I can’t send any of them on the next mission… anyone else having this problem?

Not sure if anyone else has had this but just finished sending the kids to hunt nightmares. And then noticed that all but four of them were auto put on a 1 hour task. The 4 that didn’t were the ones who could tell the spooky stories around the campfire. Is this a glitch ?
I’m not sure what the heck happened…can you explain a little better? what was the 1hr task?
I’ve been having some problems with my iPad since the last iOS update. I think I might have opened up the option to send all on 1 hour task but not sure. It hasn’t done it again anyway. Might be switching to the android version if the iPad continues acting up
I am angry. The adults at the event versions of the buildings no longer grant event currency??? Are you kidding me? “Hey! Buy Luann and then her costume for more event rewards… but we will yank them away for the last third of the event.”

Not happy about losing regular nightmare spawns that I have been busting a$$ to upgrade for, either. Grrrr…
Just checking to see if I missed anything in the part three questline, since it’s been less than 24 hours and I didn’t think I’d be done already. But if sending kids to hunt nightmares is the last thing, then I guess I’m done already! (Not with tasks, of course, just with story.) Kind of a bummer, but oh well. Back to trying to squeeze as many brains as possible out of the few characters that still make them on demand.
I thought the same thing! “Must be missing something, the storyline finished in a few hours”, but apparently no that’s it for now at least! Just tapping nightmares and fighting M’nster over and over again (yawn). I won’t complain though as it’s far better than the constantly manic, bordering on impossible and never resting TQFS at the moment!
i gave up on TQFS a few days ago. havenet been back to quahog since sunday. as you said tasks are impossible to complete.
back in TSTO world….having fun making mono rail pieces still. i also put springfield heights on hold for now.
Impossible really? I don’t play all that much or spend money any I’m completely caught up on TQFS. Even been getting all the side challenges for skins and stuff. I really wish TSTO was even half as challenging as TQFS and required a little strategy like that game does.

If I had programming skills, I’d make a forum where it’s mandatory that a person has to scroll through the comments section before being allowed to post a comment with that phrase (or any variation thereof) in it. (Ditto with “Is it just me, or…..”)
Funny how, even at its most annoying/disappointing, this game doesn’t irk me half as much as some of the commenters here do. (Fortunately, there are also many wonderful commenters here, as well as our heroic and delightful moderators, who all contribute to making this the best TSTO community on the interwebs and keep me as addicted to this site as I am to this game (maybe even more so)!)
