Well…looks like EA doesn’t want me to have a relaxing day today after all. As I predicted last week…Level 59 has arrived!
Remember this is an in-game update, so there’s nothing to update/download from the app store. You should be able to just turn your game on and it’ll download. If you don’t see it, try the usual methods. (hard close/restart, restart your device)
I’ll be back with more in a bit but for now know that Quimby kicks things off with a 1hr task and you’ll be tasked with building the Prison Bus for $1,764,000. It’s a decoration, so it’s an instant build.
If you’re XP level shows Level 59 but you’re not seeing Quimby start things, make sure you’ve completed the character unlock/building for Level 58. Just because your XP Level says one level doesn’t mean your game play matches. Both have to be at Level 59 in order to see the new content.

As mentioned above Quimby kicks off Level 59…here’s what’s included:
Freemium
Prison Bus- $1,764,000. Unlocks Gina Vendetti. It is a decoration so it’s an instant build, and it’s 5×8 in size.
Big T Theatre- $300,000. 24hr Build. 5×7 in size
Gina Vendetti- Comes with the Prison Bus
Premium
Springfield Museum- 150 Donuts. Unlocks Molloy. Instant build. 7×13 in size.
Big T Tree- 15 Donuts. 2×4 in size. Adds a 0.50% bonus on all cash and XP
Molloy- Comes with the Springfield Museum
And that’s it for this level. Not a ton of stuff, but something to keep you busy tapping during the remaining time of the THOH event!

What is with the ridiculous prices for things now? Stupid tiny buildings like Spiffany’s costing 400-500k and now stuff like the prison bus costing 1.7 million? How the hell are you supposed to come up with that kind of money? It’s like they decided, OK, we gave you some free stuff to make up for the ridiculous prices in the past, now we’re going to double down (or quadruple down)
I realize I’m behind most of the people here in just reaching level 59 now (I took a break from the game for a while)
That’s how it always is. The higher the level the more expensive it is….
I’ve been on level 59 for ages! I just went up a level but it still says level 59. I’ve level upped bout 3 or 4 times but it just keeps showing level 59.
Anyone else have this problem or know what’s going on?

There is no Level 60 yet. So you’re there until Level 60 is released.
I recently watched the episodes “My Mother the Carjacker” and the episode with Gina and Bart. I don’t recall seeing a prison bus explode. I recall a black bus exploding underwater and being covered by boulders after Homers mom makes it go off the cliff, but it’s a black bus and doesn’t look like the one released in the game with Gina. I don’t recall a white bus in the Gina and Bart escape at all. Am I completely dense or did EA take creative liberties with this item?
Looks to me like the prison bus from “Steal This Episode” (S25:E9)… “You’re about to find out what we do to copyright infringers.”
I’m supposed to tap on the house that Malloy didn’t hit to search it. Which house? I feel like I’ve tapped them all a dozen times or more.
When does early access end? (Maybe there’s a countdown I didn’t check for?)
Specifically, I’m on xp level 59 but not there yet in game level, so will I have access to Gina at any time even after early access? (Maybe Gina and early access are unrelated, but it’s early.. for me.)

Thanks. No timer…lol…I think since I’m at the xp level game considers that good enough. Requirement only says “level 59”, so no other quests need be completed first.
I was looking to see if this has been brought up by anyone else, but I don’t think so…? Since the new level, my game has been glitching big time. I will play, exit the game properly, and then when I go back in, it looks as if I didn’t play earlier! I have uninstalled, and re-installed (a massive pain since my phone kept saying I had no room to install the game, when I did – and then I wound up deleting over 10 apps just to get on with it), hard-exited… multiple times! Insanely frustrating that I have struggled to level up the campfire because I keep losing hours of gameplay – including neighbor visits! Any suggestions??
You kind of answered your own question. If your device is telling you that your space is limited, then you really need to take a look at that. One of the BIGGEST issues of lagging & crashing is not enough space. Space on device, space in the game, etc. So start with the device, limit items on it to free up as much space as you can. Pics & videos use up a LOT of room. Other high active apps too. Move your pics and vids to another storage source.
In the game put stuff away. If your device is struggling, give it more room to be able to render images and characters. Try to cut your decorations in half. Put away Buildings you never use. Store away any unnecessary house farms. Etc.
I just noticed that my conformity bonus increased from around 38-39% to almost 77%! This huge increase happen to anyone else?
Did you craft and place wailing walls? Each one comes with a 2.25% bonus multiplier.
I can’t wait to start this quest but it is taking me forever to earn one million seven hundred dollars for the prison bus. Weeks! What am I do i g wrong? I play constantly throughout each day.
Patience. It is a Level… here to stay. No rush needed. 😉
Each one of us have different placement of towns but most of us have huge areas full of houses to collect. Mine is full of blue houses I collect per week total of three million,250,000 every 8 hours.
Unfortunately, this won’t help Michelle, since EA had made building new house farms impractical with its new graduated pricing structure. However, I’ve never house farmed and haven’t had any problems having enough in-game cash in a long time (certainly since I reached the max level, many months ago). But I also don’t buy land until it’s needed, have been uninterested in the “aspirational” buildings and money mountain, and actually preferred to keep my IRS building at Level 2.
I’m at level 2 also. I want the shiny IRS building, and would pay for it, but I’m not sure that I want the range. EA’s gotta start giving us these choices…especially if we pay for them. 😉
That’s surprising, if you’re at Level 59…
So, some tips… Send characters on the shortest tasks you can handle (and don’t use the unemployment office to do it). Make sure you’ve crafted and placed as many wailing walls as possible, to take advantage of the bonus multiplier. Collect your buildings frequently. Visit all of your 100 neighbors every day (if you don’t have 100 of them, get them). If you’ve maxed out on FPs, you’ll be earning TRIPLE cash and XP on every neighbor tap. Make sure you’re not sending money on Burns’ money mountain, unneeded land, upgrading your IRS building, etc.
If you do these things, earning a million dollars shpuld definitely not take you weeks to do!
I gotta say, ever since the Halloween event started it has been more of a chore to play than fun. My M’sther (sp?) keeps resetting to 15 hrs when I know I’ve beaten him numerous times. Glitches everywhere. On top of all the other crap they add more levels. I’m over this game now. 2yrs of playing.
They didn’t indicate very well how this exercise would continue on ad infinitum. I mean, third act should end somehow, right? I still wonder if there’s something to top it all off …..
I’ve got some weird micro-climate going on in my Springfield.
I’ve put the Prison bus (rotated) next to my cooling towers. The smoke from each is going at right-angles to each other.
I’ll get bored of that really soon, but it’s entertaining me for a few minutes 🙂
The recent update had removed my points from 1,900,000 points down by 1,000,000. I have snapshot for proofs.
