Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well here we are, in most Tappers favorite time of the year in Springfield….Halloween! (although I prefer Christmas 😉 ) The leaves on the tress have changed colors, the water is murky and there’s a darkness that falls over our TSTO screens. All of these effects fit in perfectly with this year’s theme….Nightmares.
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third, and final, Act you’re tasked with collecting Candy Apples (
) (yes I know they look like Caramel Apples, but the game is calling them Candy Apples) to unlock each prize!
The fourth Act 3 prize awarded at 5,040 (or +2,880 from unlocking Holiday Homer) is the U.F.P, an animated decoration for our Springfield’s.
So let’s take a closer look at this fourth prize and just what happens when you unlock it your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 5,040 (or 2,880 more from prize three) you’ll automatically be awarded the U.F.P and you’ll see this message popup:
Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it…
The U.F.P is simply an animated decoration for your Springfield. Nothing too exciting…no questline, no task telling you to place to earn more . Just simply an animated decoration for Springfield.

Build Time: Instant
Conform-O-Meter Impact: Vanity +100
Where Can I Place It?: Grass/Pavement/Boardwalk/Beach
What Does it Do?: It’s basically a big giant balloon that floats in the air when tapped. Here’s what it looks like when tapped:

What’s Next?
Re-Neducation Center the fifth, and final, Act 3 prize, which will be awarded at 9,270 (or +4,230 from the U.F.P). This will be the next prize we cover in a prize rundown post.

Hey, so I read all the crafting guides but I still have over 5000-6000 bunny ears and skeleton ribs and just don’t know what to craft? Should I just craft a lot of each and store it? Or is one clearly better?
Also, I just got the renedification center. Should I only keep my snake and zombie house going and send the rest back to Springfield heights or the monorail? Or is there any reason to keep them hunting nightmares/earning candy apples?

We have 2 days left. I am a little over 400 candy apples away from getting the Neducation Center and I am no longer receiving candy apples. I am getting the crafting items and that’s it. What is going on?

Just finished my evil shop quest and I heard a voice say something like “I’ll take this object it’s been terribly cursed” I thought the shopowner showed up but nothing nowhere…??

No, I’ve just got the last prize and there’s nothing to do at the campfire. M’nsther still appears at the temple, but doesn’t appear at the campfire and you can’t fight him or tell stories. You can only send the kids to the brown house to generate nightmares.
I won the ReNeducation Building yesterday, now just randomly popping in. I’m pretty sure I’m going to do a LOT of storing after this event, or turning springfield heights into a “storage room” lol
I finished Act 3, got th final prize and started THAT QUest. Tomorrow, hopefully, Iwill finish Day 5 and get my 20 donuts by generating zombies. At that point, is there any reason to hunt M’nthster or generate bunnies and skeletons? Am I missing something, or can I start sending Bart (and others) on all the quests that have backed up?

Wow, thank you for the info about the bonus % given by the wall… I had no idea it gave a bonus % because the description does not say, but thanks to your info I used the materials to get 30 wailing walls and got my bonus % to 131%. Thank you!!

I put my pumpkin at my homemade airport with my blimps and other flying machines. The hard thing to find room for is that re neducation building which I got today. That thing is huge. It actually makessome of the SH buildings look small.
hey a new update just come out apparently fixing the spawn of the correct nightmares when you spawn them, instead of giving out the wrong ones

Oh, I didn’t even think to tap the pumpkin and make it float! See this is why I love reading these posts, I always find out something useful or cool. Sometimes I get so busy with getting cash, bonuts or candy apples I don’t stop and smell the roses. Haha!
Love the updates. Was wondering if we will be able to get any snakes to keep from the store? I see several versions roaming in my neighbors towns.
Hey all something as happened I only had database to make 2 skeleton s I tapped on a brown house to get them expecting 2 and whoo hoo 11 appeared thus completing Monday’s challenge
My UFP disappeared right after being won and stored. It is not in my Springfield, not in my inventory (I looked through all the tabs multiple times), and I didn’t sell it. Has anyone else had this problem? Thank goodness it is a prize that I don’t really need, but it bugs me that I won it but didn’t get it…
Did you check your overall inventory list? Not just the tabs.
Finally found it by clicking on the UFP in the prize track, which said it was “in my town”. I had searched through the town many times, but not seen it. I was finally able to find it by turning off the visibility for the buildings, and found it hiding behind one…
It’s pretty cute! For now it’s living beside the pop up Halloween store. It may eventually hover it’s way over to my pumpkin area. I’ve got the old Simpson farm with tons of pumpkin patches & living right next door is the pumpkin house with the Grand Pumpkin standing guard. I’m not sure I’ve ever used the word pumpkin so many times lol!
This update is brilliant still glitchy but hey nothing is perfect although me and my partner are really having trouble with this week’s shop keepers challenge and I know many other rappers are too ,does anyone know if EA are doing anything about it ?
I’m never going to complete the shop keeper’s challenge this week because my skeletons are spawning as zombies… I even spent two donuts rushing a job to make sure I wasn’t crazy. So… That’s great…

I finally got skeletons by using only Database and Bart. The rest of the kids got normal tasks. After that I got the normal 4 skeletons.

My least favorite prize from this event (I think…can’t remember all of the others off-hand and too lazy to look them up). This one went straight into storage – its jets never even touched the ground.
I now have three giant pumpkins in my Springfield. Do we really need so many pumpkins?
I found a place for it, having already set up a mini golf course as a place for sort of weird random stuff, but it could still end up in storage if something more interesting comes along.

It is wondefull to have so much new buildings and all those free donuts before x-mas, can’t wait to see what we get then 🙂 i was only wondering that did EA forgot about krustyland? would be nice to get a few more buildings there… i got way too much free space there =o/

Less than useless. I already have more than enough useless decorations in my Springfield without loading it up with more large decorations that don’t earn me a significant boost. Vanity +100? Pfft… That’s one or two Springfield Heights decorations.
Kang and Kodos also show up inside when tapped. You mostly see their eyes, but you can faintly see them there in the eye spots. If you zoom in all the way and your brightness is up a bit. Made me giggle because I think they opened a THOH episode in one like that.
That’s hilarious, I never would have thought to look so closely! The thing makes more sense now.
