Turbo Tappin’ Premium Stuff: Molloy

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Level 59 hit our tappin’ devices recently and with it arrived another criminal to the streets of Springfield…Molloy!

So now that there’s a new Level and premium character in our tapping devices, you know what that means right?  Time for another Turbo Tappin!  So with that let’s jump right in and Turbo Tap Molloy’s questline (premium)!

As we mentioned in the Level 59 rundown post Molloy and the Springfield Museum can be yours for the premium price of 150 donuts.  Like all premiums it’s an instant build, and Molloy’s questline will start right up for you once placed in Springfield.

  1. Well, between already having a premium museum and not having or wanting a police cruiser, Molloy is looking like more and more of a pass for me. It’s too bad, I still remember watching the episode when I was a kid. I’ll have to be content with the T tree.

  2. on the Molloy task to sneak into the museum is he trying to climb the ray gun for everyone or just me?

  3. What is the T tree?

  4. Has anyone else purchased the prison bus (with Gina) and the T Theater just to have them disappear? I purchased both tuesday around 3pm and got right to work on her quest (Got to the second or third level). I went on a bit later and went through a lot of new ‘updates’ and noticed the item missing. As there was a lot going on that day I just assumed there was a bit of lag time so gave it some more time. Went on at 11pm and still had no items.

I procedded to make my first contact with EA. I talked to an advisor online about it and he said he had checked my account and that it was probably just server lag and for me to give it 24 hours. I gave it a bit more than that. I played yesterday still with no items an decided to contact them again tonight.

At 8pm I started my second contact with EA, got told to uninstall the game and reinstall it. During that period the chat closed and I lost contact with the, went back and there was a long wait time.

The third contact was around 11:30pm and the ‘advisor’ contacts a ‘specialist’ and informs me that the items were never purchased. Of course you can’t actually talk to a specialist. Was told that even though the first gentleman said he looked into my account, apparently he had no way to so so as he was not a ‘specialist’. A 30+ minute chat and nothing got resolved. Asked that if I didn’t purchase the items then where did my money go. I guess the ‘specialist’ would not look at it again.

She also told me what the working hours for these ‘specialists’ (they are working between 5am and 12am) so I could call back tomorrow while there would be one right there. Now the interesting part he asked me to post my experience on the EA forums so the studio could see it. Apparently she has encountered the same problem quite a lot lately and for some reason this is the first time she has been denied. She wants it in the forum so the studio can see and is hoping the items will reappear without having to do more tomorrow.

    • If you when thru itunes store, contact them as well. I have had very good success in the past this way. Good luck! Peace

  5. I wish there was a donut tax to repay you guys for all the great help you’ve given everyone, i know all the other Addicts would agree.

  6. Oops

It is not a Bat, it’s a black bird (sorry folks)

Yes so, I blindly sent a bunch of characters on a two hr task and when it was time to collect I breifly say the image. My brain had short time to process it so my assumption went to bat.

Why did I think it was a bat? Besides the color and large wingspan, I think there were two other factors. The fact that it Halloween is still in my sub-conscience and the letter T is in the word baT. But the fact it was Falloust Boy (a character based of BATman’s Robin) and the fact he is seeing a movie I assumed he was watching a BATman movie.. But alas I am again, wrong.

Think EA should change it into a bat (just for me) :p

(P.s. since I can’t see my previous post in moderation, I couldn’t reply to it. If there is a magical way the Monorators can make this message a Reply to my first message in this thread, that would be very cool, if not.. Well I guess we’ll see) 😀

  7. Unrelated:

Tap the crashed prison bus for a little extra animation surprise,
The T-theater let’s Falloutboy to watch a movie 2hr task (looks like a bat flying around when in use)

We now return to our regularly schedualled thread :p

  8. The episode’s last act is better if you’ve seen “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World”. I bought the big T tree without a second thought; I’m waiting on Malloy until I can concentrate and appreciate the questline.

  9. Does this work from my phone? Ignore me, I’m testing my technology, just hope using phone doesn’t log me out from tablet……don’t know why I’m messing around for…..my tablet is on my lap

Anyway just realised I wont like it as you don’t get all the emotiwassits on phone 🙂

    • Hey Lee

You can add an emoticon keyboard for your phone so you can still do your thing!

With an iPhone you go to Settings-General-Keyboard-Keyboards-Add New Keyboard and select the Emoji Keyboard… Not sure how to do it with an Android phone but think its a fairly similar process 😄

      Enjoy!
      Michael

  10. I had to purchase him because Molloy reminds me of David Niven from the original Pink Panther movies. I am a big fan of Niven and have seen all of his movies. Perhaps that is where the shows writer’s got the inspiration for Molloy.

  11. He was wearing sneakers…for sneaking.

  12. Morning Alissa, ….are you getting a feeling yet ? ?

I’m sure I’ve never heard of this guy, must have missed that episode, so don’t need it at the moment,

…..now I’ve said that, you watch, …..the episode will be on TV later and I’ll like it and this item will become “essential” till then I’ll just be wondering, “Where did that come from?”

    🐍🐇💀🎃🍩🍭 💟 🙈 🙂

    • It’s funny you should mention it but “Homer the Vigilante”, featuring one Molloy, airs tonight on FXX (7:30 central). I don’t know if this channel is available on your side of the pond but if/when you get a chance to watch it, it’s definitely worth it. 😀

    • It’s from season 5… Definitely a classic

    • Hey, there. Season Five’s “Homer the Vigilante ” is about Springfield being hit by a charismatic master thief, The Springfield Catburgler (Voiced by Jurassic Park’s Sam Neill). After the Simpsons are robbed and lisa’s sax is stolen, Homer forms a vigilante group to catch him. – The episode features TSTO tie-ins including Malloy (The Catburgler) with the Museum, the T Theatre, the T Shaped Palm Tree and the already existing, and ludicrously priced Worlds Largest Cubic Zirconia. “Stamp collection!? YOU had a stamp collection!? Barts pain is funny, but mine isnt.” Tap on, dudes.

    • Check out the post on the world’s largest zirconia for info about Molloy 🙂

    • This is from season 5 ‘Homer the Vigilante’. Molloy, the ‘T’ shaped tree, the museum, and the world’s largest cubic zirconia are from this episode.

Been waiting for a while for this stuff . One of my favorite Simpson quotes comes from this episode: “Dig up” as a response to how to dig themselves out of a hole.

    • Season V: “Homer the Vigilante.” If you’ve never seen it, then you’re in for a real treat!! (BTW, if the final minutes seem really weird, it’s an homage to the movie “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.” The very very end is one of my favorite moments in the entire series!)
