Hey there Hoppereenos!
By now I’m sure most of you have noticed our ever changing Banners on the site. We are very lucky and grateful to have met an artist that really gets us and our sense of humor. He’s not even in the same country nor has he ever met us in person.
In return, we’ve been given some pretty cool artistic versions of Wookiee, Alissa, and myself … Bunny to place on our site and other items (like T-shirts… Who wants a T-Shirt?). Many of you have been requesting to see them all in one place, so I wanted to share them with you all. In an Addicts Art Gallery.
I get great delight and enjoyment out of emailing our artist my creative thoughts and suggestions of what I think a Character be dressed as, or look like, or the “season”, then I send it to Alissa for her approval and any additional thoughts. Then we wait to see what he comes up with in translating those descriptions or insane thoughts into Character Drawings. He really is amazing in the way he translates it all. I think he’s as silly as me in his humor. Love that! Once we approve, he finalizes the drawings and another Addict Character Image is created.
Next, I go to work. I have the basic Character Images but now need Banners for the sites. So my creative side takes over to start crafting the background and adding many details to give the site the overall theme of the Current Event or Holiday the Characters will be placed into (who knew how many blades of grass it takes to cover an area. Lol). It’s a blast. I would have tried my hand at the Characters themselves but I don’t have the time nor, I think, the in depth ability as our artist does to do them as well. I do instead also play around with the Characters once they are complete, like Terwilliger’s Event… adding a silly bit of hair or other items to add to the overall look.
The results, some pretty cool collaborations of Characters by Milos and Banners by Bunny (Alissa did some creations too on Valentine’s Banners & one other and did a great job!)
Just for fun, I also included a few I did for the OTHER site, just in case some of you don’t venture over there but wanted to see them. 😉

As you may know I’m a big fan of the banners
Though, while browsing through these I am surprised there really hasn’t been any Chirstmas or at least Winter themed banner? I don’t know how that is even possible.
So hope to see a Christmas/Winter Banner in some future. Also I’ve mentioned a Celebetory Dressed Up New Years banner (black, silver and gold). Also a Fall banner (leaves and pumpkins) for Thanksgiving time.
I do like the Event Banners most of all. To bad there isn’t much to do with May (other than Cinco De Mayo, and May flowers from those April showers).
The only other thing I can think of at the moment is just the Couch Gag scene (The Simpsons Living room with the couch and painting of the ship in the background). maybe just Wookie, Bunny and Alissa squished on the couch (with or without other Simpson family members) and maybe even (when the time comes) Alissa’s baby.
Hopefully we’ll have a Baby Event soon ;p
That is because we just started these brand new ones this year around Valentine’s. So we have not had the chance for a Christmas themed one… but one is coming. 🙂
We did think about the couch, but at the time we wanted items that could relate over to both sites. I still have some ideas in mind though to put us on the “Couch”. 😉

So many great ones! I think my favorite set is the one for this Halloween…loved the ladies’ outfits and the cowardly Wookiee and small-b-bunny’s shadow effect were fun and funny.

Bunny, not sure why but I always assumed you drew the characters and backgrounds. Nonetheless, both are very impressive.
In the past I did. Made several of them. I wanted a more professional look to them though so we had Milos give it a go. Now I just do the Backgrounds and “extras” 😉
I just went into my game today and after getting my 20 donut bonus for this week, all the donuts I received from this even are gone… 200 or so!! anyone else have this happen?!
