For those wondering what to do with SH buildings & wailing walls I stuck most of the tall buildings on the edge of my SF & put a row of Wailing Walls behind them. Still got enough space behind them that when/if I decide to dismantle my Wailing Wall maze I already have places to hide them…😄😄😄

As I’m sure most have noticed it seems like SF is preparing for Black Friday…? Most characters have a 2 hour job to ‘Get Trampled’ while Apu has a 3 hour task to ‘Hire Dodgy Transients’ (or something to that effect…).
For those of us from countries who don’t really do the Black Friday madness, it seems to be what we see on the news around this time of year 😄😄😄
And I’m guessing it means no Thanksgiving event/mini event? We can all recover for a while (or for Totbox, readjust to being part of society 😄) before the Christmas madness…

For those complaining about Christmas adverts etc in stores starting straight after Thanksgiving spare a thought for those of us in countries that don’t do Halloween or Thanksgiving… Stores in South Africa started Christmas preparations at the beginning of October! 3 months of Boney M’s Christmas carols makes for a grumpy shopper – bah humbug!!!
I want to move to a country that doesn’t do Black Friday. 😊
My only issue with Early Christmas Decorations is, as I live in Canada, stores that put Christmas stuff up before Rememberance Day. To me that’s a bit disrespectful, just my opinion.
Was wondering, since there’s a lack of Springfield Heights land, yet an abundance of buildings that could/should go there, (Burns, Krusty Mansion, Fat Tony’s Compound, Quimby Compund and Groening’s Writer’s Building to name a few) any chance a “What have you done with” Springfield Heights can be done in the near future? Figure this may be an ok time to ask since the game is (at least for a few days) calmed down event wise, and Heights has been in the game for a bit. Although now that I think of it may not be the best time with Alissa’s new arrival. I’m just unlocking the last few blocks of land currently, and at a loss how to stylize it since there’s really not that much room (Compared to main SF).
Personally I think it takes far to long to get all required items for it ! So for now mines a huge storage area for past tasks!
See that’s the problem I’m having, mine’s a dumping ground also, but I hate having Heights look junky when I’m also stylizing my main town. Since its such a small land area (til they unlock more land for Heights) figured I’d try to get that out of the way.
This may end up as a double post (sorry WP messed up, again lol) However that’s the problem I’m having. My Heights is a dumping ground recently, and since I’m trying to stylize my main SF, didn’t want the Heights area to be a junk pile, wanted to finally get that out of the way also, since there’s so limited land there (until they issue more, hopefully)
I have seen on several comments about a bonus multiplier for SH. Is it when all buildings are out of storage as well as a level 5 or do the buildings just have to be level 5, but you can still store some of it?
Just deciding if I should upgrade the last few to level 5. I have already reached the billion dollar mark. I just don’t want all of those building in my SH. Too cluttered.

I believe its just for having the buildings out. They don’t need to be upgraded.
They just have to be out – it doesn’t matter what level they are. And the bonus multiplier is just on XP, so you won’t see it reflected in the regular percentage number. The only way to see its effect is to look at your XP before and after tapping a building.
Thank you! I think I’ll just leave it how I have it. Sometimes I like my town to look pretty versus more XP. 😄
Same here. Sure I could have my Heights full of 50-60 similar looking buildings, or I could decorate with different buildings and homes and stuff.

Apologies Sandra, and neighbourinos, no, I will be still watching AWOT but keeping posts to a minimum, with the “new” version of TSTO it has now become completely unusable on my phone, the frustration in trying to post this message over the last two days has done my head. ,
AWOT? The only translation of that I could find was “A Waste of Time,” but that didn’t work in context… And are you taking about the new version of this site or the game? You said TSTO (which, to me, means the game), but then you were taking about message posting, so I thought maybe you meant the new version of this site.

I just cannot find the place where I can change tapping to each icon and get a single response. Right now when I tap an item, several places open. can anyone help?

Is there a way to get more turkey bones quicker? It seems like it would take forever to finish the quest by the first. I know if you buy the casino it speeds it up , but don’t want to spend my donuts . is there any other tips or tricks I can do to speed things up? Or just wait out the 3 hour quest and get the 12 bones every 3 hours and look for turkey to tap .
Short of spending donuts to speed up tasks (which I don’t recommend) can’t think of any tricks to it personally.

Lee, no worries about Christmas dinner, we seem to do it all over again, some change to different food, ham, prime rib, leg of lamb, etc. me I do turkey all over again especially since I don’t eat red meat. I love the leftover turkey sandwiches, & soup. Mu husband’s office is doing a early thanksgiving pot luck this Friday, you guessed it turkey main course, so he will have turkey dinner three times in one month. Good thing one of his fav meals!
So you going to swim on over to Florida & have dinner with me & go for crazy shopping.
My friend that used to come over, said what he saved on shopping paid for trip. Plus he loved getting out of your gray weather!
Im kinda disappointed that they didnt add Angel Bernice Hibbert and Devil Dr Hibbert, or Jessica Rabbit Wolfcastle, or Pharoah Moe. I woulda spent a lotta money to get them! EA missed out.
Does anyone know what the reward was for blameless city part 5?? My lovely game decided to give me the quest with 18 mins left on the event. Hope I haven’t missed out on something really cool.

Lee, see what u started by a simple question about Thanksgiving,. I’m sure you have more than enough about Thanksgiving from this side of pond. Maybe with all the cruel and unimaginable happenings last week, we all realize to be extra thankful this year! As a lover of music can’t imagine going to hear music and being shot at!

If I’m in the middle of battling Mnthster when the event ends will it complete the battle and give me my reward or does it end right away?
The Event takedown will hit the App Markets to pull it out of your game, so you can delay it slightly if you want until you are forced to update and can’t go in the game anymore by keeping your app auto updates off.

Me again, what a pain…. Just went into town, says defeat M’ster & sink sunken tower, please tell me we don’t loose tower after event, one of my fav things of event!
I just got this as well. Said to defeat 0/10 then when I defeated him and sunk the tower the task disappeared. Must have just been a bug.

Seriously, can’t we take a little break from Halloween event when Halloween was last month. So Halloween is October 31, Christmas is Dec 25th. So hope we don’t get rushed into Christmas, I really don’t want to wake up to SF covered in snow tomorrow! Would like time to “weed out & store some items before we are hit with another event!

In an online MMO I used to play, seemed to be a similar situation, they’d have EXP events where you get double exp per kill or whatever. One would no sooner end, two weeks later they’d issue it again. Kept thinking to myself, if they are constantly on an event, is it really an event?

In the real world things can’t always be on sale, legally. That would just be their “new low price” or else it’s false advertising. A store would have to wait some period of months (not sure of the period) before putting the same item on sale again. I don’t think that two weeks would be enough.
Yeah, it got to the point (in that MMO) no one was leaving town, we would just sit there and chat if there was no exp event going on, since wait a week or two and there would be another one, it got rediculous.
As a Brit I’m off to bed now and the event will be finished when I get up. I would like to say a really big thank you to you all for keeping us on the straight and narrow with the prizes. You have been a god send with your advice and I’ve witnessed frequently that this is a tedious but important part of your gaming. I’d have given up long ago. Once again, thank you and I look forward to the next event xx
