Just got home from work, so sorry for delay in getting the info up for you all. Wanted to bounce by really quick to remind you all that the Event will be ending here shortly.
EVENT ENDS NOVEMBER 17TH, 20115 @ 8GMT (3AM EST)
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.
As far as what is going to happen AFTER the Event… well, we can’t know… until it is over. Lol. Until then all we can do is speculate. So, patience. We all have to verify what happens after together.
Now as far as to what is going with the Event, here is a brief rundown…
- Questlines linked directly to the progression of the Event will go. Like the Main Questlines that pulled you through all 3 Acts.
- ALL Crafting Materials earned throughout the Event (Eggs, Ears, Skeleton Rib Cage, Brains) so use them or lose them
- ALL Event Currency will go, so earn all the Candy Apples you can to earn those Personal Prizes as once the Event pull down hits you can’t earn anymore and all the Prizes will be gone.
- ALL Shopkeeper’s Tasks will end. As far as we know these will go with the Event too. We know there is a timer discrepancy, but all signs still say it all goes on the 17th as planned as of this post.
I know some of you still try to push that last few minutes of collection as far as you can. If you turn OFF the auto update feature in your App Market, you may give yourself an extra day or so… just know that ANY time after the 17th is borrowed time and you are doing so at YOUR OWN RISK. EA can force the update at anytime after the 17th and make you update. So use any extra time wisely and get what you need before you have to remove the Event completely.
Tap those final Nightmares, Tap the Formless Creatures dropped off to you and send off the ones you have left to whoever you can, and then relax and wait to see what EA has next in store for us.

For who knows what reason, EA decided to add an extra lil item into our games… another Part to the Questline to defeat the M’nthster.

Defeat the M’nthster and Sink the Sunken Temple (x10)
Completed Task Earns $100 and 100 Candy Apples
For me in my game, all I had to do to complete the task was defeat the M’nthster still on my Campfire, then tap him 10 times at the Sunken Temple. That was it. Nothing more.
There you have it, the Halloween 2015 coming to a close and the M’nthsters leaving our towns in under 5 hrs.

A little question: do the purchased Formless Terrors run around your town really fast, like when the Halloween Event was happening? Or do they just walk at a slow paste? I ask, cause I liked the fact they were so quick. I would buy one if they still were so.

Weren’t we supposed to get 20 doughnuts after finishing the last week’s evil shopkeeper challenges? I finally got Bart to spawn the one last skeleton I needed. Never got doughnuts. Tried to log in to my EA account Monday and sign in page was down.

Okay. I did the update & now there’s a glitch with my game. The Sunken temple seems normal, but when I tap it the water rises above it likes its sinking and when it goes down, M’nthster is there. I tap it again and the screen jumps and he disappears. I’ve done this repeatedly like 20 times and it keeps happening. Anybody else having this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

What Bunny is saying is that this isn’t an “issue” or a “glitch” – it’s a feature! They’ve v left us this nice, free pseudo NPC/animation thing as a final “prize” from the event!
If you don’t like seeing M’thster, just tap the temple and he’ll go away.

Mine is doing the same thing. Try to tap on the M’nthster and he goes away but comes back. Did you find out how to get rid of him for good and get the donuts?
Hi, I defeated m’nthster loads times just repeated it over and over. Finally got onto the extra quest they added and it didn’t work the once over I had done it 4 times at the Tower and then it updated and Lost it!! Gutted!!
As for the candy apples it didn’t give me a choice to purchase stuff with it hence I wondered what they were for.
I’m level 48 and feels like I’ve hardly got anything in my Springfield, yet my neighbour-eenos are only maximum 10 levels above me (I’m using the XP machine) and they have masses of stuff that looks unachievable/unaffordable. I’ve spent loads of real money, are these towns with loads of characters/buildings been using cheats? If not how do I achieve this without spending ridiculous amounts?
You didnt buy stuff with the Apples, you hit certain amounts to win items.

It all depends on WHEN your neighbors started playing, how they play, and what they spend money on. There are hackers out there, but there are also MANY MANY ways to earn tons of stuff free. Just look at the posts on this site and the many many comments during events. We provide many tips on how to get things you want. You may not get it all as there are still premium items… but you can get a lot.
Are you on game level 48 or XP level 48? If you’ve been using the Collider, it could very well be that your XP level is much higher than where you actually are in the game. Keep playing and you’ll get more and more stuff. It’s unlikely that most of your neighbors are playing hacked games, they’ve probably just Breen playing a lot longer. And, BTW, 10 levels also makes a big difference!
One year ago i did feel the same About my friends. Today i’m the friend with loods of characters/buildings. Before you know you get special stuff. I play for 4 years now and play for free. So be patient, you Will See.
Blameless city 5 launched, but I can’t defeat mthster in campfire. His bar goes to nothing, but he doesn’t go to sunken temple. Gave up, not worth it. Gonna try to grab the update.
i did the same thing and ended up using 8 donuts to rush the kids and despite his ‘health’ being at zero he didnt go to the sunken temple GRRR! this has been the glitchiest most frustrating update >:(

Ignore the campfire – someone here mentioned that you can just tap the tower 10 times. Worked for me 🙂
Glad to see the sunken tower and campfire remain! I’m ready for snow now but not another tedious event. If I get as many donuts as this last one though, I’ll deal.

when do we have to download the update from the app store? after we defeat m’nthster or before? he is on my campfire now but his rating is full. do i have to get that down to zero and then tap him at the temple? and is that when it ends or do i have to then do the app store update? im a little confused. thanks and have fun.

That’s hilarious, I wasn’t expecting those! Sadly I’ll have to pass, since I can’t afford to spend donuts or system resources on NPCs.

Great news, everybody: THOH has gone. (At least for this iPhone user.)
And there’s been some changes. From what I can tell:
1: The Monster (or however you spell it) now lives at the Sunken Temple – tap it and he appears after a rush of water, tap it again and he disappears after a rush of water.
2: You can tell scary stories at the fire (the reward is cash and XP).
3: The Disco Zombie, Star Spawn and Formless Terror are available to buy for a week (for doughnuts, natch).
