Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The 2015 Treehouse of Horrors Event brought us loads of new costumes for our characters in Springfield. Including a couple new premium and freemium options for Kodos and Kang!
While we’ve had the questlines up for each character for a while now, we thought now would be a fun time to take a look back at all the dialogue and jokes of the character for aliens in costumes who participated in the event.. Especially since many of you have been requesting this over the last few days! So if you missed any of the dialogue during the event, or you’re just curious what one of the characters had to say that you didn’t unlock…we’ve got it all here for you!
So let’s get started with the complete dialogue walkthroughs for all of the aliens in costumes that hit our game during the event…
Pirate Kang
Captain Kang Pt. 1
Kang starts
Kang: Look at my costume! I am a fearsome pirate!
Kodos: Who would be afraid of that? You are hobbled with wooded pegs for legs.
Kang: I can still run after you!
Kodos: Can you see with that eye-patch?
Kang: No, not even a little bit.
Make Pirate Kang Walk on Peg Tentacles- 4hrs, Earns $260, 70xp
Kodos: I was standing still and you have yet to get close to me.
Captain Kang Pt. 2
Kang starts
Kodos: What else does a pirate do beside clatter about on pegs?
Kang: I don’t know. They seem fond of parrots, perhaps they raise birds.
Kodos: Your pirate disguise will not be convincing if you do not do your research! This is Halloween! You do not want to blow your cover!

Kang: Pirates are fantastic. They rob, pillage and terrorize innocent humans.

Kang: Earth-girl, prepare to be pirated! Swash-buckle, swash-buckle!
Lisa: That is not how pirates talk.
Kang: Really, you’ve met an actual pirate?
Lisa: No, but I’ve seen my share of seafood commercials.
Kang: Teach me!

Lisa: Just say, “Y’arrrgh” at the start of every sentence. “Yarrgh, it’s a nice day” or “Yarrgh, I’ll have a half-caff latte.”
Kang: Urrgh!
Lisa: No.
Kang: Yarrrk?
Lisa: No.
Kang: Yeeergh?
Lisa: Why don’t you just go as a hobo?
Captain Kang Pt. 4
Kang starts
Kang: Forget trying to talk like a pirate. I want to pirate like a pirate. Let us board a ship and take it over!
Kodos: This sounds like my kind of fun!

Kodos: Okay we’ve got a ship. Do you know how to get it started?
Kang: I think it is started. I think this is all it does.
Kodos: It just floats around? Where is the hyperspace button.
Kang: Being a pirate is terrible. But I do like the hat.

Kang: Kodos, why are your tentacles encased in silk stockings and garters?
Kodos: At Halloween, it is acceptable for females to parade around in itchy, wiry underwear. This causes males to suck in their stomachs and buy alcoholic drinks.
Kang: Could you use this power to lure a human male into your bedroom?
Kodos: Why do you think I prepared the containment chamber?
Kang: Hahahahaha!
Kodos: Hahahahaha!

Smithers: Thank you! Of course now everybody’s wearing bowties. I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
Kodos: Yes! Far superior to other flattery forms!
Smithers: You’re fun. Nice deep voice – can’t quite place the accent…
Kodos: Never mind that. Let’s be fabulous!
Smithers: I thought you’d never ask.

Smithers: You’re handsome in a really unique way. Like that gorilla in Japan. I might be falling for you…

Smithers: So this is where you live? I like it. Very “Lost In Space.”
Kodos: This is where you will stay.
Smithers: You mean like, live here? Whoa, this is moving way too fast.
Kodos: I merely meant this is the jar in which I will store you.
Smithers: Oh! A go-go cage – you wanna have a party!
Kodos: Yes, yes! Keeping it nice and breezy! Now get in the cage!

Smithers: Put on some Grace Jones and stand back!

Fairy Kodos starts
Mr. Burns: Smithers! What are you doing?!
Smithers: I’m sorry, Sir! I met this guy and got carried away and–
Kodos: I am not a “guy!” I am female!
Smithers: Help! I’ve been kidnapped by a monster!
Mr. Burns: See here, Madam, my eyes need blinking! Release my assistant at once!

Mr. Burns: Stand back or I will salt you like a sidewalk slug!
Kodos: Aaaaah!
Smithers: Mr. Burns, you’re my hero!
Mr. Burns: Don’t make this weird.

Anybody else seeing the quest on all characters lists “get trampled” ?? its a 2 hour task but no task in task bar…
I am still unable to visit my neighbors! This occurred throughout the 3rd act of the Haloween act which was frustrating but, I could get a few ppl visited each day with much effort. Now, not at all! Even if I do get into one & do the 3 actions it kicks me out of the app when I leave & shows 3 actions still available when I go back in. I have tried several neighbors today and it’s the same each time. Any ideas? I feel awful being a bad neighbor!

What we really need are dirt squares to make roads for farms and other rural type items.
Yeaah!!! And a sprayer so you can choose your one Colour on the ground. 😉 fun
I have a problem with my office of unemployment as it won’t let me Send All the characters on a job, even when selecting it from the task book “make all characters to a 1-hour job”. I thought it might have been due to Halloween, but that has now removed itself from the game.
I’ve tried putting it in and out of the inventory but it doesn’t’ work.
Should I sell it and buy a new one? Or can anyone else advise?

Since the update has the 8 hour Fairy Kodos task been fixed so it can be completed without switching the Simpson house skin back and forth?

My Kodos has been stuck for 3 days now. No amount of skin switching has cleared the task so far. And of course she’s no longer tethered to her spaceship so there’s nothing I can store to clear her either.
I haven’t taken Halloween off yet, I usually make them force the issue. I’m trying to figure out the new star rules because not having them around is a real detriment, sometimes I’ve been over run, but sometimes five hours go by and none spawn, I feel like I’m going crazy trying to get them
Wondering if there will be some new Friend Level prizes coming. No point visiting the neighbours if there are no FL prizes as incentives to visit.
Also, Iam sitting with 43 million of I game cash that I would like to use. Hope some new
items come that can be purchased with I game cash instead of donuts all the time.

1) use donuts to buy a 1 day XP boost, 2) buy a bunch of bloodmobiles, 3) sell them, 4) buy more bloodmobiles, 5) repeat. You should level up a few times to turn the in game cash into some donuts – not a whole lot but it’s more useful than in game cash
Under the tentacle pt.2 lasts now 4 hours. Kodos costume has been revisited and has new tasks: 1 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours and 24 hours.
That is from my point of view, since I decided to buy the costume last night before updating.
What would be really cool would be for the game to have daytime and night time depending on the time zone you are in. You could have Street lights and house lights etc coming on. Has anyone ever suggested this?
