The Thanksgiving Event hit our devices yesterday afternoon and a fun little event rolled out with it. Like all events, a questline was rolled out with it to help guide you through the event. If you ever get stuck with something in the event, just check out the questline and see what needs to be triggered next…usually you can get “unstuck” by following along with the questline.
So let’s take a look at the Turbo Tappin’ version of the Thanksgiving 2015 questline….
Turkey Talk

Make Homer Deep Fry and Eat Turkey- 6s. Earns 2 
At this point you’ll unlock the content to purchase in the store…
King-Size Debate
Homer starts
Make Springfield Adults Angrily Debate Turkey Prep- x4. 6s, Earns $35, 1xp freemium and $50, 2xp premium
King-Sized Judgement
Homer starts
Make Fatsos Apply to Judge the Turkey Contest- x3. 6s, Earns $35, 1xp.
At this point the event itself will start, with your tasks to earn King-Sized Homer…
Gooble, Gobble, Toil and Trouble Pt. 1
Homer starts
Make Homer Go on a Vision Quest- 1hr, Earns $70, 17xp
Gather Drumsticks x20- Tap Turkeys to get Drumsticks. You can also earn them by sending various characters on tasks. Ned, Marge, Apu, Quimby & the Tribal Chief can earn them. (Freemium earn 3 legs/3hrs, Premium 6 legs/3hrs) Tap Do It to see the task list.
Unlocks an Animation for Homer…
Gooble, Gobble, Toil and Trouble Pt. 2
Homer starts
Make Ghost Homer Give Real Homer a Heimlich- 3hrs, Earns $135, 35xp
Gather Drumsticks x80- Tap Turkeys. You’ll also unlock new characters that can earn them, the ones from part 1 will no longer be able to earn Drumsticks. Tap Do It to see the list (can send Tribal Chief, Dr. H, Wiggum, Krusty & Cletus)
Unlocks The Vast Waistband Building…
Gooble, Gobble, Toil and Trouble Pt. 3
Homer starts
Make Homer Visit the Vast Waistband- 7hrs, Earns $250, 60xp
Gather Drumsticks x70- Tap Turkeys. You’ll also unlock new characters that can earn them, the ones from Part 2 won’t apply to this part. Tap Do It to see the List (Can send Ned, Cletus, Comic Book Guy, Grampa and Tribal Chief)
Unlocks 360 Degree Buffet Table
Gooble, Gobble, Toil and Trouble Pt. 4
Homer starts
Make Homer Enjoy a 360 Degree Buffet Meal- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
Gather Drumsticks x100- Tap Turkeys. You’ll also unlock new characters that can earn them, the ones from Part 3 won’t apply to this part. Tap Do It to see the List (Can send Skinner, Willie, Moe, Apu & Tribal Chief)
Unlocks the Turkey Stuffer
Gooble, Gobble, Toil and Trouble Pt. 5
Homer starts
Make Homer Eat Turkey at Maximum Efficiency- (uses the Turkey Stuffer) 16hrs, Earns $500, 125xp
Unlocks King-sized Homer
This completes the prize track questline…that must be completed by December 1st in order to earn King-Sized Homer. From here you’ll start up the King-Sized Homer questline, which we’ll cover in another post.
Just remember…when in doubt make sure Homer is free, since he starts every single part of this questline.

Hi it’s now December 2015 I’m doing christmas tasks why can I still send “skinner” and a few others to collect drumsticks?
Thanksgiving questline didn’t kill yet. You have to finish the part you’re on to kill it off the task book
I’m on the 100 drumstick part, which is part 4. I’m a bit concerned now that I won’t make it all in time. Hie often do turkeys spawn and how many should there be around at a time? I only see a max of about three or four at any time, and that was this morning after a night away from the game for sleep.
As long as you keep sending the characters on the tasks you should be fine. You have until Tuesday to finish…

Did anyone else get the dialogue with Mrs. Bouvier and Marge this morning? I’m really intrigued to see where it leads.

As I see it there’s no use in collecting wild turkeys while Homer is on the 16 hour “Get stuffed” quest. Should I just let them max out and use them after the quest finishes and the next counter begins?

I’m confused…I thought that was the end of the questline and there’s nothing to save them for. Did I miss something, or does someone need a nap? 😉
I got king-sized Homer, but I’ve still been tapping the turkeys for the XP and to enjoy the sound, lol.
Oh yea….i was mixing up the buffet with the stuffer.
Am i the only one having problems with king size homer task? It wouldnt finish his let it all out 6hr task.
Now that i am waiting for Homer to eat more than his weight in drumsticks i now seem to have 10+ turkeys running around my town every 3 hours or so compared to the 3-4 when i actually needed them. Im not knocking the 13 xp for each, but it’s funny now that i don’t need them their everywhere
Turkeys are small (may be difficult for some to find & tap) but its not an impossible quest & I’m almost at the end with King Sized Homer
This year we get a Bulldog (will Tappers get to keep sending our svelte Springfield Characters here?) , a Buffet Table (Decor) and yeah another Torture Device to use on Homer (1st Donuts, now Turkey Legs (lol)
Last year was fun (but a shorter quest) involving Puritan Ned Flanders (amusing skin / amusing tasks) and (returning from 2 years ago) Sacagawea Lisa (Springfield’s resident Vegan / protector of Turkeys) and I still have my pet Turkey (2 years ago)
Last year we got a Red Table w/Cornucopia (same decor returned this year – now I have 2) as well as a Picnic Table where Puritan Ned & Sacagawea Lisa dined at task (which didn’t return this year, sorry Newbs)
I’m still earning 5 donuts + track for the monrail (and hoping EA doesn’t blow the Christmas Quest this year like they did Halloween (rolls eyes)
I just started part 3 and went though the dialogue and the new tasks came up. Went around and gathered 17 drumsticks when I realised homer had a ! which I clicked only for him to start the dialogue again and refresh the task. Now I’m on 0/70 when I had 17/70. Is this something to go to ea about or any fixes you could suggest? Thanks!
Once the task starts the turkey counter resets.
when collecting stuff i noticed at the top it mentioned “collected thanksgiving easter egg 1/3” any idea what this is for? or what i completed or which ones i need?

I am having the same problem. I have completed the Buffett table and the collection of 70 turkeys. I am unable to go any further. Help to correct the issue would be greatly appreciated in order to complete the tasks before they quest ends.
Is Homer free?
I had the exact same problem!!! 😢. Make sure Homer is free & walking around with no job. If you do that it will fix it ASAP & you’ll move on with your quest !!!!! Good luck & Happy Tapping & Turkey Day !!!!

Is anyone else’s comforimity meter acting weird ? My righteousness rating has been jumping all over the place since this event began.
Mine too. Send some people to jail, and vandalize neighbours
Is anyone else having problems with there righteousness rating? Ever since this event began mines been everywhere from 1/2 a star to full stars all over the place. It’s making my conformity rating jump all over the place.
Buy a bunch of training walls.
Mine plummeted to 1/2 star at the beginning of the Halloween event, but started climbing back up when it was over. It’s at 5 now.
Don’t bother with training walls; I’ve only ever had one, and I’ve never had problems keeping Righteousness at maximum.
I am also having a problem with my righteousness rating. I have a bunch of turkeys walking around my town that I wasn’t going to tap just because I think they’re cute to have walking around. Could that be my problem?
Not – not turkey-related….the Righteousness rating just does that sometimes. Just buy a big bunch of training walls place them around town and you’ll almost never have problems with your Righteousness rating again!
