It’s Thanksgiving in Springfield! Time to stuff the turkey and stock up on donuts because there are new Thanksgiving themed premium items in our stores! Now I know you may be trying to decide if these are worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Bart Ballon to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this floating prankster to your town!

Pros:
-Nice bonus % awarded (although Jet Engine Bike is still better)
-Unique looking decoration for Springfield
-Fits in with past Thanksgiving themed balloons
-Comes with a very short bit of dialogue between Bart and Lisa
Cons:
-It’s just a decoration, doesn’t do anything beyond “looking pretty”

Premium or Freemium:
This is one of those, if you like it buy it items. It’s not a bad buy, but it’s a personal choice. If you like it and think it’ll fit nicely in your town pick it up. If not, pass on it and save your donuts for something more/better down the road.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell I’ll most likely pass on this one. However, this IS a limited-time item. So if you’re thinking about getting it make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games on December 1st.

Seems like we do have Black Friday in South Africa after all…
I thought it was just online shops here that did it but it seems the supermarkets have got in on the act. Went into my usual store today to get some groceries & walked straight out! End of the month is often a bad time for grocery shopping here but this was a whole new level – Chaos would be a nice way to describe it…
And worst of all we didn’t even have a ‘thanksgiving’ holiday yesterday so it’s really just a complete marketing ripoff by big business. Next thing I know you will be telling me that Santa doesn’t exist and he’s actually just a marketing ploy by Coca Cola co-opting St Nick!

Just something that happens from time to time. Move around your town and come back and it usually rights itself. Can sometimes see some funny glitches too…fences, shrubs, etc. turning into characters. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about.
Wished the B.S. Balloon looked more like the one in the Macy’s T. Parade
I wonder if the pose, skateboard and just general look is Just diffrent enough as not to be sued by Macy’s (if so, that’s B.S.)
If I were flush enough with donuts to have Springfield Gorge, I might want this balloon to hover over it all the time. However, I am not that flush with donuts and currently have no good place for the Gorge even if I could afford it, so… really the question for me is whether I want to buy and store this for a future possibility that may never come. Shall have to ponder.
Personal preference, I’m not keen on balloons, they obscure oth🎈r stu🎈f,

Thanks Alissa but ive already completed the whole event. Actually i finished it a couple days ago. Just now i decided i may want the work from home station but when i went to try to buy it, the thanksgiving store section was not there.
I’ve tried reinstalling and logging out of ea and logging back in but nothing seems to bring it back.
Is there something im missing?

Then I would say contact EA…something odd happened in your game
Same thing happened to me (and has happened to others). Talked to EA last night and was told they have asked the developers to put it back out there again to try to get it to people who are missing it. Hopefully will see the Thanksgiving stuff again tomorrow after the Halloween items are gone.
I’ve already completed the entire event. Does that mean that i have no opportunity get the event back to purchase things?

Off topic, and apologies if this had been mentioned elsewhere, but did anyone get that short little dialog between Marge and her mother? To me that says there is still more TG activity to come.
I bought it immediately as it offered a prettg reasonable bonus multilplier. On a sidenote I have a question. I play my game on a handphone. At times when I am harvesting from my buildings, I exit the game due to incoming messages or calls. My cash and XP is still increasing and yet to complete when I do so. Would this sudden exit cause me to lose the cash and XP that have not being updated into my numbers?
Not buying it but the dialogue that comes with it is funny!
You also can’t add it to Krustyland, which is the only reason I bought it.
Please EA, make more new stuff Krustyland-compatible. *pouts*

So with some down time now that THOH is over and I’ve completed the Thanksgiving quest, I’ve been aiming to get somewhere with SH. Currently sitting at around 250k and I’m methodically working to getting all land pieces then doing my building. Seriously tedious task needing much dedication haha! Useful to have the game open whilst studying for finals tho and just tapping for resources every now and then. I’m aiming to get the Ziff mansion, and I’ll probably just leave a space for the billionaire haven seeing as it’s rather ambitious to achieve that by the deadline I’ve set myself. I’ve just got two questions tho, firstly wanted to ask of Paris Texan earns at a freemium or premium rate? And secondly has there been any chatter since SH was first brought out about the possibility of moving the SH entrance, and also the possibility of choosing which level you want your buildings to be at? I really regret going at my condos as I would love to have a level 1 and 2 sitting on the beach lol. So anybody from the addicts team know anything? Any other tappers?
