Episode Reminder: Barthood

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s almost Sunday and you know what that means…almost time for an all new episode of The Simpsons!

So here’s your official TSTO Addicts reminder…all new episode this Sunday, December 13th, on FOX….“Barthood”

So what do The Simpsons have in store for us this week?

Here’s the episode information released from FOX:

Bart’s coming of age story a la “Boyhood” chronicles his life from six years old to his time as an accomplished young man. Along the way, his tense relationship with Homer, an overly uncaring version of himself, and Lisa, who overshadows him in every way possible, shape Bart more than he realizes.

  1. Wow, just watched this and after it was over…I thought that if the show/series was going to end,
I could handle this as Bart’s story…and be very happy with it.
    He made me proud.
    Ps: good for Skinner! Whoo-hoo!

  2. ok so how did and why did they put in such a blatant ad for getting high and make it look acceptable ? having homer and chief wiggum doing that ( even if it is an alternate reality ?) is wrong for what is meant to be able to be watched by kids 🙁 seems like a jump the shark moment to me 🙁 )

    • Homer and many other characters are raging alcoholics and have been since the show’s start. What’s wrong with taking a few rips off the bong? Much less harmful than all that alcohol. If you don’t want your kids watching, there’s plenty of other programming on TV.

  3. The site just loaded ‘normally’ (the lag has been horrendous for the past few days) so will keep fingers crossed & hope all goes well. Thank you all (Alissa, Bunny, & Wookie) for everything that’s been done to provide a great venue.

  4. I found the couple clips of this episode unsettling so I’m not optomistic. But to be fair, I guess I should wait for it to air.
    :/

    • Ok, so I watched it and it was better than I expected. The two clips that I seen were probably the worst parts of the episode, and I’m kinda glad to see them before hand so I wouldn’t be turned off at the moment of air.

Kang as Santa (maybe future Christmas Event skin), weird seeing Grandpa with both yellow four hair spikes and brown hair around his ears/head. Maggie’s trophy was to quick for me to read (think it was “Fastest Tweeting”?)

Best part was seeing younger and older versions of characters, otherwise it was pretty forgetful to me. But again not as bad as I predicted.
