Final Thought:
Premium or Freemium:
Honestly, I’d avoid this one.  It’s just another useless building in Springfield…
So whether you’re a Premium or Freemium player, this is one to avoid in my opinion.  Especially at this price…

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell I’ll be passing on this one.   However, this IS a limited-time item.  So if you’re thinking about getting it make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games on December 19th

Here’s a look at the dialogue/questline that comes with it…

It’s What’s Underneath That Counts Pt. 1

Homer: Ooh, fancy. I never knew there were this many variations on the good ol’ tidy-whiteys.  Boxer shorts, boxer briefs, trunks, briefs, jockstraps, thongs, g-strings, and whatever the hell that is.  This could be just what I need to get Marge’s motor running!

Make Homer Buy Fancy Underwear- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp

It’s What’s Underneath That Counts Pt. 2
Auto starts

Make Marge Employ Various Power Tools- requires Homer. 4hrs, Earns $350, 90xp

  1. I wanted to get this to fill out my new ornate pier in SH. Now that I’ve built the maximum number of tiles allowable (70 in case you were wondering) it looks pretty empty with the few fancy stores I own. Unfortunately it wouldn’t let me place it on the pier, so I didn’t get it.

  2. I rarely but premium items that don’t do much, but I snapped this one up a few days in. It’s just too iconic! The salesguys both easily wearing the underpants and then the way they fold it into that itty bitty triangle that makes the box almost explode…. I’ve had this more than a week now and I’m happier every day with it!

  3. Victor’s Secrets –

Why waste Donuts on a Building when there’s plenty to earn Freemium (and Craft) during the 2015 Xmas Event? (I’ll give EA a thumbs up for the Freemiums, so far) ….

  4. Wait…I thought it was “tighty whiteys” not “tidy whiteys.” You know. Because they fit tightly.

  5. This would be nice next to the Steel Mill 🙂 but my donuts are being saved for characters.

Homer in (stretched) Tighty-Whiteys Skin could have been a bonus with the building.

  6. Ok if Victoria’s Secret Models wear big Angel wings, do Victor’s Secret male-models wear big Devil tails?

  7. Like it but petty expensive. I’d rather save my donuts for a character I think. Or at least a building that earns event currency.

  8. Isn’t it an underwear shop ?

    🙂

  9. I just saw Sophie Krustofski in my store for 110 donuts. When did she appear?

  10. I’d just like to say that if any addicts are having trouble with missing characters/buildings, I recommend contacting EA through the phone. On my second phone call I was told that my missing character (maude ghost) would be put through headquarters and my case sorted. In two months, at least, the maude ghost suddenly appeared in my game. Cheers Ea, and have a happy Christmas!!

  11. Once again my sprinkles thank you, I was wanting this one til I read the article. Hopefully something better comes along. Debating on getting the christmas lights for the buildings, but to only use them one month of the year, idk.

  12. Bought it had a bit of spare space in SH and fits perfectly next to my shopping promenade and the blue crafting building we got (can’t remember the name lol)

  13. I’m usually freemium but I got this as soon as it came out in the store because it goes along with the other fake name stores.. Now if only Costingtons would come out again..

  14. Personally I like the design and it fits in great in my downtown

  15. Mmmm 🙂

  16. I brought it because it is one of a very limited few buildings that actually exist in SPH! So rather than the gaudy tacky bulidings they’ve given us so far, this one actually belongs in the show in SPH so I had to grab it!

My thoughts are in line with yours, Alissa. While it’d be nice to have another building in my mall complex, what’s the point, really? I’d rather have something I could use in the future.

    • You must forget about “useless” buildings like that Fan store that finally got tasks there. Or was that the only time?

      • Kim (kimberlyah794)

I think there have been a few over the years, but I might be wrong. Seems like sometimes we’ll get tasks for unused building during events, like this past Halloween and the Bad Dream House. But I can’t imagine this being one of them unless it’s something for Valentines.

Crap. Now I’ve almost talked myself into buying it. I do that all the time to myself! :-/ *chuckle*

      • I think the Blocko store may have been like that…not sure that Chalmers had a task there when it first came out.

It’s too bad really…if they’d just include even one character task in these buildings, I think they’d sell a lot more of them. (I know I’d be far more inclined to buy them in that case myself…). It’s not like they didn’t already spend the time to design an animation for them for the questline, so why let it (….grrr…what’s the word/phrase…it’s on the tip of my brain…not “lay fallow”…..not “expire” — that’s not it at all…..argh!…), uh, go to waste after the questline is done?

        • Can’t help you on that tip of the brain word, this time. Sorry. All I got is “dormant”, but that doesn’t sound like your words.

I, obviously, agree that they should always have a character task at every building they release, especially premium ones. Wooly Bully is out now that Krusty can’t peruse for kippahs. Virgil’s cabin never had an interaction…but I’m looking at that flag and knowing that it will wave when activated makes me….*fjdkaslf;sdf* (yes, I have a real keyboard. can’t autocorrect me now, Autocorrect!!! muahahah)

        • Dormant, uninhabited,
          🙂

        • I can smell something nice, ….are you cooking Sandra ?

          🙂

          • Ha, no! These days, my husband does pretty much all of the cooking. Tonight, I had some pretty tasty leftover baked chicken parm that he made yesterday. Unless you’re smelling the 14 desserts I had afterwards? (Okay, slight exaggeration….but there were several forms of chocolate involved.)
