Well here we are, in the most wonderful time of the year…Christmas in Springfield! The leaves on the trees have fallen, snow blankets the ground and there’s joy all around town!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Mistletoe (
) to unlock each prize!
The thirdAct 1 prize awarded at 19,250 is the Chocolate Shoppe! For all your Chocolate indulgences!
So let’s take a closer look at this third prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 19,250 you’ll automatically be awarded the Chocolate Shoppe and you’ll see this message popup:
You’ll have the ability to place the Shoppe in your Springfield immediately or place it in inventory for later (store). If you store it, remember you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it..
And that’s really it to this Chocolate Shoppe…no additional questline once placed and nothing to earn you more . Just unlock the prize and that’s basically it…

I unlocked the fcbg this morning but when i enter in my game 4 hours later i dnt have it, hes checked in the price menu but i dont have that costume. Why?

i was in panic, i never had a issue in my sprinfield, i play tsto since 2013 hehe THANKS Alissa u and the guys r amazing, happy new year from Peru.
I was excited to get this, the sequence involved has been used not only in the original airing episode but also in a Clip show episode (think it was April Fools, Homer goes into a comma clip show episode) but also in the Simpson’s EA game (available in all major tv-video gaming devices).
I actaully was hoping an event purely around it (which is evident that won’t happen now), wanting Chocolate covered streets and land, chocolate raindrops, chocolate lab that Homer bites, lamp post with bite marks, and Homer animation of him happily prancing around.
MMmmmmm…event ideas *droolful shudder*
Is anyone else noticing that event currency is very difficult to keep up with? I’m in my game every four hours, and there’s no way I can make the last prize for act 2.
I have the next prize and fully upgraded all 4 of the act2 xmas buildings but am still 2000 hats short of festivus outfit. How did everybody finish act2 already?!?!
Me too I’m sitting at 32000 with everything upgraded I’m sure Maggie arriving lost me mistletoe can’t see me grinding 3000 mistletoe in 3 days

I don’t know about anyone else, but I compulsively tapped merrymakers. I also have many premium characters, which brought me some extra foliage during the upgrade process. My secondary town with fewer characters is still a few thousand away from the skin. (I won’t mind much if I don’t get it, it’s rather meh.)

I guess it’s cause I’m just a hardcore tapper that I got everything done already.I even managed to get a bonus round of donuts a little while ago. Just keep tapping along and do the best you can.
This is the only prize I actually wanted from act 2. Such a classic episode 🙂
Hopefully we get Wall e Weasal and that big brown bear from title screen in act 3 🙂
Is there a timer glitch? My game says that act 3 starts at the same time as the event ends???

…because Act 3 is not considered part of “Winter 2015” but rather a separate storyline.

They should have made the action “Selling half-price chocolate.”
I love getting new buildings! This one actually prompted a little rearranging so I could make a group of some buildings that also appear to be made out of food, like the chocolate fortress and gingerbread houses. Marshmallow and cotton candy trees are everywhere, I’m excited to see how it all looks in the springtime.
Ah. I was hoping that thing helped gluttony.
I’m torn: do I put this one in Chocolate Town, or the Christmas Village I’m building?
Chocolate Town on the count of the dripping and the tannish brown colors will blend better.
I would definitely say in your chocolate town, to me it doesn’t look very “Christmasy”, just has snow it that will surely disappear with the update 😊
This is my favorite of the buildings from this event, I think. I haven’t found a place for it yet, (would be nice to have some gingerbread walls?) but I might surround it with some of those marshmallow trees..
I would love gingerbread walls! The lollipop flowers and marshmallow trees look pretty good, though.

My level 3 fortress of loneleness is covered with something purple. What’s the matter with it?

I have the same problem, and I’m not the only one. It seems it’s a glitch that appears when you start the Maggie quest before the vandalising is finished. The fortress stays covered with goo, and you miss out on 400 mistletoe 🙁
I think all buildings should have at least one task for at least one character in them. Most (if not all) buildings already have some kind of animation created for them (which you can see when it’s in an area that randomly “comes alive” at some point), so why waste it by not having anyone use the building and trigger it?
I’ve got it in my Christmas area next to the Fortress of Choclitude. Looks pretty good there.
Will there be crafting in Act 3?
The countdown does end, so I’m wondering when I should spend the rest of my crafting resources?
Spend them before Act 3. There is no crafting in act 3. 🙂
Easily one of the best prizes from this event from a classic scene/episode. I haven’t found a permanent space for it yet, but right now it’s in Snowman Square with candy canes, marshmallow trees, and the lollipop flowers around it 🙂 Chooooocolate, 50% off!!

I think the Fireplace was disappointing, I thought it would be larger, like Chocolate Shoppe sized….
Hopefully Act 3 will be more interesting… I found the whole event quite boring so far. The special buildings are kinda cool, and some of the craftables are okay. I think I enjoyed Halloween more just because we could churn out craftables, and it boosted my bonus immensely!
It looks neat paired with the Fortress of Chocolitude. They have the same signage.
I thought shame it didn’t go on Squidport, would have given more options
