So Christmas is over and New Year’s is fast approaching (only 2 more days left in 2015)..so it’s only natural that our favorite yellow family would need to do some New Year’s preparation! So today EA dropped a short little questline on us involving Homer and New Year’s prep….
Now this isn’t the full questline, it’s just a little tease of what’s to come in the game (shortly), but it’s still a questline, so let’s take a look at the Turbo Tappin’ version of Out With the Old….

Make Homer Way Over Sleep for a Power Nap- 8hrs, Earns $275, 70xp

Me too, no New Years Eve ball. I didn’t know it existed until my husband asked if I got it.
Well Marge can not take Maggie for a walk. And that is a task that I can’t get to go away. When you click on Marge, and scroll down, it says that I must complete a quest. Is this something for act three, or a glitch?
Same here but I think the quest will be part of Act 3. So, two birds with one stone?
I completed the quest line and I didn’t get a ball. What the heck!? Does anyone know why? I never got it. I’m trying to figure out how to get it.. Help me!

I have the ball sitting right next to the huge snowman. It looks very cool on fire but keeps resetting. Yeah, I have the big fireplace on the other side, too.
Rats! I saved up my bows and ornaments to craft what might be added in act three. I’m not sure I want to believe all of crafting will be done before the launch of Act Three.
I did get the New Year’s Ball. I tapped it and **SPOILER** (it dropped and caught fire.) Not sure how but it reset. So, phew!

I re-entered the game and the New Years Ball was back…so, I tapped it again!

I burnt up my new year’s ball, but entered my comment under the wrong account 🙁 … any way to get it back on this account?
Nope…
Yup! I accidentally dropped the ball in my wife’s town, so I exited the game, closed the app fully (double-click home button and swipe up on iPad) and reopen, and voila! It was back!
What comment?
I also burnt up my ball, but it came back to okay at some point (not sure how, just noticed that, at some point, it was fine again).
