Christmas is over but there’s still snow on the ground in Springfield! The festivities may have ended but there’s still more fun to be had…as Maggie and friends arrive in Springfield!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Pacifiers (
) to unlock each prize!
The second Act 3 prize awarded at 9,600 is Mrs. Sinclair…because every daycare needs their Ms. Hannigan..
So let’s take a closer look at this second prize and just what happens when you unlock her in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 9,600 you’ll automatically be awarded Mrs. Sinclair and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place her in your Springfield Immediately or Store her in your inventory for later. Remember, if you store her you’ll have to go into your inventory to unlock her in Springfield…

im getting the pacifiers fine but my mum who plays too cant get any.the first day there were bears to click but since then none have shown up…anyone know what we can do to fix it?
That’s odd. They appear like 1 every few minutes up to 20 Total at a time in your town.
What part of Maggie’s questline is she on? Is she playing hourly? Or less? They can hide anywhere in town… but if you wait a bit they’ll eventually come to where you are.
Just placed Wall e Weasels for build!! Looks like an awesome building. I also played the first round of Where’s Maggie? this morning and couldn’t find her for the life of me 🙁 I had the SFX turned up all the way and the music turned down but she didn’t make any noise? Turns out she was on a Lard Lad which I passed by a few times and didn’t hear anything. 1 minute 30 seconds isn’t long enough for a large town.
What happens when you “lose”? Did it center you on that building? (My town is not quite as big as yours so I’ve yet to lose. Down to less than 15 seconds one time, though.)
There’s a list “somewhere” that shows every building that Maggie can hide on. You might want to look it over so you know where to look or to rearrange buildings. That or let the game be a game you get better at and more familiar with over time. I’m still on the fence about knowing the specifics. Decision will probably made the first time I lose. heh.

Thanks. I must have skipped that when it first came out because I was nowhere near triggering the game. Then couldn’t find it because there’s been a lot of posts since then, or I didn’t try hard enough. Looks very comprehensive. Looking forward to reading/seeing it!
It drags you over to where she was hiding when you lose. I did look at Bunny’s list and it helps but all those buildings are so spread out in my town and I’m not down for moving them all to one area. Too much work and I’m lazy 🙂 Hoping I’ll get better at it the more I play it, just kinda ticked I had the sound turned up and didn’t hear anything.

I don’t like having to have the sound up. I do try to have a little sound but this is so subtle that I have to turn it up a lot. I still barely am hearing it. I hope to get better soon because this is stressful at the moment.

Just wondering anyone knew if it’ll still be possible to finish this questions after act 3 is finished? I still haven’t unlocked the Buddhist temple so I don’t have Carl or Lenny so I can’t complete pt 3 so I was just wondering if when I unlock the temple will I be able to finish the quest line then. Just watched this episode along with a few other classics. I caught one of my all time favourite Simpsons scenes, the one where the ice farmers are up in the arctic chipping ice, then they bring the bags (with Bobo in one) to the Kwik E Mart and ask Apu if it’s really necessary and he goes “If you can think of an easier way to get ice, I’d love to hear it!!” Makes me laugh every time.
Overall I don’t like the episode much, but bit with the ice harvesting still makes me laugh!

I’d been wondering about her name for a while now, and sure enough, when I watched “A Streetcar…” last night, her nameplate on her desk reads “Ms. Sinclair,” definitely not “Mrs.”
I wonder if we can complete the act three prizes in the time frame. 11days to go and I just have unlocked Mrs. Sinclair. The quest in the other acts where fun to to and you got faster rewards. This is way to time consuming. At least if you want to play it for free.

I’m seeing a bit of speculation on two different subjects,……
1) will “Find Maggie game” become permanent when the event is over?
Mmmmm not sure but it is a possibility,
2) Will the bear in the cave come out of hibernation when the snow goes?
I think that’s wishful thinking on the part of people who wanted something more from it and possibly rushed to buy it and now regret it (Not Ciara as it’s an essential part of the zoo)
However…….although I don’t think the bear cave will ever do any more, I do think there will be the opportunity to buy a souvenir bear NPC to wander around your town after the event, ….like mutant seeds, zombies, (was there a tap-ball fan?)

She’s doing some consulting work for the plant.
I suppose it’s for playes who haven’t bought the school yet.
Sometimes I guess due to limitations of premium and event items they need to tailor the questlines so players are not forced to buy premium items (like Ruth Powers’ questline not including her house or daughter or Dolph’s mostly including Bart and Nelson but not Jimbo and Kearney).
It is strange with Mrs. Sinclair though – the daycare center is free and not too expensive in game dollars. Its like with the Babysitter Bandit – though that one is even stranger since she actually comes with the Babysitting Service but does not interact with it.
Maybe once this event is over players will still be able to get Maggie (like they can get Sideshow Bob) and the Ayn Rand School for Tots. That might explain why Mrs. Sinclair is not included with the school but a seperate character.
I just got her today. Working towards the weasels now. I’m still about 7000 away from that.

I got her yesterday! Loving this event, its my first “winter” one since I started in March. One thing I was wondering though—MRS. Sinclair is Llewellyn Sinclair’s sister, they look very similar. Why is she MRS. Sinclair?? Did she happen to marry a man with the same last name as her? Yes, yes, I know it doesn’t have to make sense. Has anyone else noticed this?? Love the game, love the Simpsons and love this site!!!!

Character would have been voiced, but EA was worried Lovitz would show up every day looking for yesterday’s residuals. 😜
LOL. Good one. I always forget there are voices in the game. I often listen to music on my phone while I play and Cletus ‘Woo-Hooing’ can be very distracting and annoying. Tonight I’ll be listening to the new Bowie for the first time and can’t have that. In fact may not play Bowie deserves 100% attention.
Lovitz would have gladly shown up for a commentary track on TSTO. Even though he would not have been involved at all. He did with the DVDs. I can’t wait to see his Simpsons/Critic episode and hear if he’s on the track.
I have an improvised bus stop in my town, which Mrs Sinclair happened to find for her task. It looks like she’s patiently waiting for a bus that will never arrive. For some reason I find that very amusing.
As for her quest line, I’ve put it on hold until Homer isn’t required for Maggie’s quest line anymore.
I have the wooden Boardwalk benches in my prison yards and within the fence of my mental hospital. Always cracks me up when grandpa or Janey end up there on tasks.
I’m stil 2000 away from this prize, there is next to tapping bears no way to getting the pacifiers…?
Without using premium characters/buildings, Maggie’s tasks (and the one task Marge has with Maggie) is the only thing that comes to mind off-hand.

Got her this morning with the daily play bonus, which I was awarded twice (day four and day five, woohoo!). Would have had her last night but when this act started I was awarded a mystery box instead of the fifth day event currency. 30 donuts or getting her a day earlier? Hmmm…I’ll take the donuts! 🍩😄
Same thing happened to me! I logged into my game the morning the act switched over and I got a stupid news van instead of 500 soothers ☹
Love the word soother… we always called them binkies but I think that is or was a brand name in the US.
Well heck, the news van gives a bonus, and is worth what, 40 donuts? Way better than pacifiers!
Meh, my bonus is pretty high, and I’d rather actually get the 40 donuts than an item worth 40 donuts. I wish they gave you the option in the mystery box to either accept the item or accept the donuts. I have SO many Lard Lads, each work 100 donuts I think? Anywho I’d much prefer event currency though during an event as opposed to an item I have tonnes of.

Seriously. I have so many rail pieces of all shapes and sizes that I don’t need and I feel bad when I see someone desparate for a particular type.
But, if they did have a gifting feature, I doubt it would ever include premium items because then people would be less likely to buy donuts!
I’ve got more news vans than I know what to do with. I wonder if they’ll ever switch up the mystery boxes again. Probably not for a while if they do.

At least news vans come with a bonus multiplier! I’d rather have another one of those than yet another minnow pond. But, yes, I agree it’s time for them to switch things up a bit (but without taking out the possible donuts!).

From the wiki. It’s something in the game files. You pay more and probably get more, but I forget the details. Not released, obviously. Even if it weren’t in there one could imagine something like that…
Right?! I’ve started hiding them behind stuff because there’s only so many logical places you can stick a news van. Wish they’d replace it with cop cars, ambulances, or something more practical that you’d see in a town.
I’d love a cop car or ambulance. I wish they still had the white fences in them. I think they’re a donut apiece but I don’t want to spend a bunch of donuts on fences. But let those add up and eventually can do something with them. What do you do with all your Lard Lads? I was so happy when I got my first (it was the last premium item I won) and I’ve “only” gotten two so far. The second I put the Christmas lights on and put it in a Christmasy area (that has since become a bit of a jumbled mess lol) but not sure what I’d do if I get any more.
Ohhh yes I miss the white picket fences!! Such a nice change from the brown. I only have about 3 fence pieces of them. I was also thrilled when I got my first Lard Lad. Now I have 5. I put one in town among other normal buildings, another has the Christmas wreath facade on it and is in my Snowman Square area, and the other 3 are just stacked on the edge of town. I’ll place them once I buy more land and can space them out more. Might put one in SH.
I simply got cash. I think it was day 2. That’ll teach me for not staying up until midnight for the Changing of the Acts (like I normally do).
