  1. As a long time fan I’ve liked the newer episodes unlike others who just obsess over the so on so golden years, I don’t know who the writers are but the changes I can tell from this season aren’t done in the spirit of The Simpsons. And it’s weird because I’m not usually budged that easily or one to complain about said things. This season comes off as “trying too hard or trying to be like other shows.” In which it shouldn’t be like that. I’m guessing there is some staff from other animated shows trying to implement things from there previous jobs and it is quite irritating to watch. There are intstances where things are done like using a real photo ala Southpark. It seems like this new crop who ever it is hasn’t brushed up on The Simpson history and learning about things such as a simple line in The Girl Code mentioning Apple when it should have been Mapple.

I don’t know this season feels that way even with animation decisions and everything not cohesive with Simpsons lore.

For me it started from episode 1 from this season, as I personally can’t stand Lena Dunham. Anyway I’ll continue to support one of my favorite shows 🙂

  2. This was the most fabulous couch gag to memory. And I never saw Night Rider! The show didn’t record on the DVR due to the NFL. I’m watching it all over and the second half for the forest time on on demand.

Interesting so far. I mid Mrs. K. 🙁

  3. This was one of the better episodes in some time. Couch Gag sequence (at a loss of words) Need a Couch like that in the game, hopefully one to come with a future Maggie skin.

Like I said, great episode felt like the good old days. I still don’t know whom on Simpson staff insists on blood drinking jokes but outside of that I was impressed and I laughed out loud. Various styled jokes kept it moving.

But still no explination of Mrs. K’s disappearance from the series, nor if this New Teacher will stay.

    Buzz Milk/Buzz Cola event anyone?

  4. I need new friends pls add: 1oddmollyist

Lvl 59 daily player several times a day

  5. Wow, this episode’s title is even dumber than “The Computer Wore Menace Shoes.”

  6. Ok I’m officially bad at finding Maggie. Lol

  7. OMG thanks for the update! I forget that there’s new shows coming out because it’s the weekend. I SO need this after my stressful week at school!

I had a really stressful presentation but I think I did well. Lots of <3 to the addicts community!

I’ve been wondering if they would replace Marcia Wallace. So, is Ned single again, will Edna have a new voice (maybe she stops smoking?) or will she just never be seen again?

Oops, never mind. My roommate just reminded me that the last appearance of Edna was in Ned’s imagination, with him wearing a black armband and looking at pictures of her and Maude on an end table. I don’t remember any episode where she died, though.

      • Marcia’s death was a little sudden (pneumonia, if I recall) and I think it happened during a hiatus. I doubt they had a chance to record a death scene for Edna. Her last dance with Ned may well have been intended for something else, but had to be retooled to him just reminiscing while he mourned 🙁
Makes me tear up a little just thinking about it.

  9. This episode have the most awesome couch-gag ever!
Please EA, put Joe Kazinsky, the couch and Fernando Whitmore (with his mansion) in the game ASAP!!

  10. I’m going to make sure I see this one (whether I can is another story). Are they going to explain Mrs. K’s removal from the series? Being a quest star voicing her I can’t imagine her character becomes permanent. Hmmm.. :/
