The Much Apu About Something Episode Tie-in hit our games yesterday and with it arrived a couple of new premium items for our Springfield. Now I know many of you are wondering if the new items are worth your donuts, but don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in. We’re here to break down the pros and cons of each item to help you decide if it’s worth your donuts.
Wondering if you should add the Police Tank to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Wiggum Wrecker to your town!

Honestly this is pretty cool. It comes with a questline, has a decent bonus & once you’ve finished the questline you get to blow up buildings (Kwik-E-Mart, Brown House & Quick & Fresh only) temporarily. It’s one of the cooler decorations in the game. Yes it’s a little overpriced but it’s still pretty cool.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you I’ll most likely be picking this one up. However, remember this is limited-time. So if you’re thinking about getting it make sure you do so before the event ends.

Wiggum starts
Wiggum: With this tank, Springfield’s police equipment is now on par with the rest of the country. The country of Kazakhstan!
Eddie: You think this tank will help in the war on crime?
Wiggum: I think we’ll see immediate effects after we record and air a kick-* tank commercial!
Eddie: Nice one, Chief. This should put the fear of death into criminals.
Lou: And everyone else for that matter.

Lou: But he’s running and the tank goes about two miles an hour? How’s that gonna work, Chief?
Wiggum: We’ll figure it out on the fly. This thing came with instructions, right?

Apu: Wait! He’s in my store, what are you doing with that tank?
Lou: I don’t think he’s too clear on that.

What would you say the best item is Alissa?
It depends on who you are, what you’ve been looking for & how you play.
To me it’s the Gorge, because it’s 50% off and an iconic item from the Show. But it’ll vary for everyone.
Is there a way to make the blown up brown house permanent? I always see it blown up when I go visit people’s towns but when I leave the game and come back it’s brand new. I even built some overgrown shrubbery around it to fit in with the blown up house. I’d like to make it permanent. Other than that the tank is awesome. One of the more funny premium quests out of all of them.
There was a blown up version that was for sale during the Clash of Clones Event in 2014, which is probably what you’re seeing when you visit neighbors. Right now there’s no option to make it permanent via the tank.
Can I change back to a destructed Kwik E Mart? Or should I just never finish the quest?

Any chance of seeing the animation of the buildings being blown up?

There really is no animation. The tank fires (where it’s located) then the screen zooms to one of the buildings and you see that crashed version
And if the ruined building it tapped,… Whoosh! It is back.
