Where Did THAT Come From – Playdough Factory

Woo hoo!  The MAGGIE ACT!!!!

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?

It’s still snow time like the present to be playing an event in TSTO and we keep getting more and more amazing stuff. You know what that means… it’s time again for me to dip into my noggin of Simpsons info and write about specific stuff. For this post I will be going over one of the freemium buildings from Act III of the 2015 TSTO Holiday Event… the Playdough Factory. But what does this establishment involving what I want to write as Play-D’oh have to do with the Best. Show. Ever.?  Where did it come from? Let’s take a look at the TV Series to find out.

“Days of Wine and D’oh’ses” (S11:E18)

Krappenfest! It only comes 52 times a year. Bart and Homer are having fun digging through the refuse on trash night. She-hulk comics, Italian hair and a tiki god from Bob’s Big Poi. Probably not a good idea to reroute the gas line.

Meanwhile, Barney is down in the dumps. Being a drunk isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be. He decides to swear off the hooch. He doesn’t want to be a “tanked up loser.” It’s off to AA for him. Good news is Barney ends up using the joke helicopter lessons Moe got him for his birthday.

Barney’s new found sobriety puts a wedge between his friendship with Homer. Awwwwww. But that’s actually not the origin for the Playdough factory. The B plot of this episode involves Bart and Lisa trying to take a picture to win the contest for the cover of the phone book? Remember those? Books full of numbers that made it easier for toddlers to sit at adult height at the big dining table? Bart and Lisa head to the top of Mount Springfield to take pictures and from there they can clearly see the factory.

And that’s it friends. Pretty cool that Roscoe from the Steel Mill apparently works there too. What do you think of the new building? Sound off in the comments. Happy bear tapping friendereenos and keep on being classy.

TTFN… Wookiee out!

  1. I’m confused Marge shows a questline of writing a smear article and doing a load of laundry! What did I miss how do I unlock them??

  2. Really struggling with the maggie mini game. Can find her but can’t tap on her. Been timed out 3 times!!!

What is the easiest way to find Maggie when playing the Maggie Game?

    • rearrange your town

    • Scroll around your town slowly and listen for the sucking sound. When it gets loud, start looking hard for her. Once you find her, tap near the *base* of the building she’s on (do NOT tap Maggie herself).

After the first time (when I didn’t know the correct place to tap and just finally got it by shear brute tapping), I’ve found it relatively easy, BUT I don’t have any house farms and my buildings aren’t too densely packed. I think that getting an accurate tap in house farm (or when there are other buildings right on top of the target building) may be much more difficult.

Some folks are reporting having an issue with no sound…check both your in-game settings AND your device settings to make sure that sound effects are enabled. If it is and you’re not getting any sound, I’d contact EA.

    • Jeffrey wayne Horton

Turn the volume up…and go where ur houses are and listen to a passy sucking sound tht she makes…if u here it. She’s close by…it gets louder when u get closer

  4. Still can’t tap on Maggie Game. Almost broke my iPad screen trying to tap on her or around. Are they going to fix it??

Also I can’t find bears in y neighbors town? Whats going on??

  5. It’s cool but why doesn’t it pay out any cash, XP, dohnuts….etc

    • Because it’s the “hub” for the Maggie game. It’s kind of like the Rail Yard building, which doesn’t pay out anything, either.

  6. Thanks for these articles. I’ve never seen a lot of these episodes, so your posts are quite useful IMHO. Actually, I’ve just started to watch all the shows starting at the beginning. Funny stuff.

    • I’ve just started watching them too, from the begining and last night I saw the episode with Maggie and the Bears. Really nice to see during this event.

  7. Is anyone else having trouble with Where’s Maggie game? The problem is i find her and try to tapped her but nothing it won’t registered that i found Maggie.

  8. I liked it better when I didn’t have the “find Maggie” game because it was animated.

Bring the animation back Gosh Darn It!!!

  9. I thought that looked like Roscoe!

  10. Has EA fixed the find Maggie game? I can’t seem to tap on her. I almost broke my iPad trying to press screen.

Also, did the Bears get removed on our neighbors town? I can’t find any! Not even on the free neighbor.

  11. I was disappointed that there’s no animation (as illustrated above). Unless I’m missing something?

  12. actually I still get phone books delivered here. So actually they still exist.

  13. CRESCENT MOON CRECSENT MOON!
