Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The Much Apu About Something episode tie-in hit our games recently and with it arrived a couple of new items for our Springfields. Of course new items mean new Conform-O-Meter impact.
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
Let’s take a look at how the Much Apu About Something update impacts our games…

Did anyone else buy the Lincoln statue? I bought it and now it’s disappeared from my town!!
I’m doing the hide and seek mini game with Maggie. .what am i suppose to do when i find her…i tap click whatever in her and she just stays sitting on the roof..

Try tapping on the base of the building and/or door of the building she is on.
They brought back cool brown house? I guess they don’t want to reward long time players with anything unique anymore 🙁
Has anyone else been having a problem with not being able to tap on friends buildings since the much apu about nothing ? Also can’t do anything in my other friends town !
No you are not the only one! All I can do is tap on bears! And can only collect so many pacifiers. Hoping when the bears are gone will go back to normal?
My Righteousness has always been at 4.5 stars without training walls but all of a sudden it got knocked back to 0.5 – it’s back to maximum now I’ve bought training walls but just need to find places to hide them now…
I need one star for Indolence, half a star for Gluttony and half a star for tree-hugging. My indolence is low because I don’t like having multiple same houses, so I only place one of each house. I just can’t stand having two of the same building. The cool brown house did raise my rating half a star at least. But I’m already getting 117.60% money and XP boost from premium decorations.
Buy the orange food stand they bring up your gluttony rating I have a few of them hidden around my town and I’ve got 5 stars for everything
A level or two ago I had to stock up on training walls, but other than that my town has been maxed out conform-o-meter wise for a long time now.
Not a comment about the conform O meter but..Where did my purchase menu for SH go? I know what still needs to be built and it’s only giving me the new pier items and ocean suite to build! Umm…what happened?
Did you expand your menu and click on the SH icon? (looks like the brick SH sign)
Since the Police Tank destroys buildings, shouldn’t it have a negative impact on the conform-o-meter? 😄
I’m full on everything except tree hugging.
It looks like I need to cover at least 3 squares of land in minnow ponds to get it to 5 stars. Am I doing something wrong as that seems silly.

I think Wookie’s “rebuilding from nuking your town” post talks about buying $650 trees only to deal with getting 5 stars for this.

Strangely, once I got tree hugging to 5 stars another stat dropped to 4.5 and this was repeated when I got that to 5. All sorted now though.
I bought both the Police Tank as the Quick and Fresh. The last one to able to destroy a third building 😀
I’m still in need of tree-hugging. But that’ll most likely be taken care of when I take a serious stab at designing my town and “decorate”.
With some of the recent aditions my righteousness fell I think it may be because of some new criminal characters, had to replace my training walls from storage hidden behind my buildings to put it back up. All OK again.

but yes, Sandra already said he had a job there because it’s a nice animation that we don’t often see, so I’ll be trying that when he finishes the quest
