In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?
It’s still snow time like the present to be playing an event in TSTO and we keep getting more and more amazing stuff. You know what that means… it’s time again for me to dip into my noggin of Simpsons info and write about specific stuff. For this post I will be going over one of the premium items from Act II of the 2015 TSTO Holiday Event for 110 Donuts… Sophie Krustofski. But wait! Krusty has a kid other than the unidentified bambino from “Marge vs. the Monorail” (S4:E12) and all the kiddos from his marriage with Mia Farrow? Of course he does. Let’s check out the TV Series to find her?
“Insane Clown Poppy” (S12:E3)
So Bart and Homer do a lot of chores with fireworks. Way to ruin lots of stuff especially Lisa’s room AND on Lisa’s birthday. To make it up to her they’re off to the Book Fair. Stephen King, Maya Angelou, Amy Tan, John Clancy, Christopher Walken reading “Goodnight Moon”. Awesome. Even Krusty is in to writing books even if it was ghostwritten by John Updike. Of course it doesn’t go as Krusty planned because one of the fans claims to be his daughter.
Krusty met her mother Erin during a USO Tour during the Gulf War. A sandstorm forced him to take shelter. “Maybe it was the anthrax in the air, maybe it was the fact the Arab women weren’t biting, whatever it was… it was magic.” The next day, Sophie’s mom was off to assassinate Saddam but Krusty stops her to save half the jokes in his bit. Here ends the romance… Erin was none too happy to have her mission compromised.
Sophie was the product of the tryst and found her dad by typing pathetic clown into a search engine. Krusty doesn’t think he’s father material but agrees to take her to the beach to avoid her crying.
For a clown he’s not a lot of fun. Krusty turns to Homer as a parenting mentor. Krusty spent his whole life entertaining kids and doesn’t know the first thing about them. The beach day turns out much better after Homer tells him not to overthink it. At the end of the daddy-daughter day, we learn that Sophie is a violinist too.
Leave it to Krusty to later use the violin during a poker game and lose. Safe to say Sophie is none to happy by this info or the ukulele Krusty intended to replace it with.
Krusty and Homer end up taking on the mob to get the violin back. They get the violin back and all is well. I’m sure the 5K in the case sweetened the deal too.
The Sophie is basically absent from the show. I wouldn’t be surprised if her clown-hating Mom kept her away from Krusty. We do see her one more time in “Marge Gamer” (S18:E17). She’s among the girls on Lisa’s soccer team. Makes sense since Krusty is the coach. Sophie doesn’t speak but it’s obviously her.
So there you go friends… Sophie Krustofski. What do you think of her? Did you splurge your donuts during Act II? I love the four hour joint task they have together but will admit she is another one-off character. Never bad to have more kiddos in the game though. Sound off with your thoughts and happy classy tapa-tapa-tapping.
TTFN… Wookiee out!
Sophie Krustofski? Why would the kid have Krusty’s last name? Sophie’s mom coincidentally has the same last name as the baby daddy? What aren’t they telling us??? Scandalous!!!
Lol… probably just a case of Mom gave her the name so she could possibly reap the benefits of being related. They never actually say her last name in the episode though.
Now that we have Maggie, Pointing her out in the WDTCF posts lost its fun, But again now that we have her, It’d be nice to have a Homer and kids joint Beach Task as seen here :p
I’m just waiting for the WDTCF regarding Maggie 😀 See how Wookie explains that one lol.
lol actually Bunny’s handling that one (so it may be a little while, since she’s recovering)
Where should I send the gin?
*taps Bunny using donuts to speed up her recovery* Dangit that doesn’t work in real life lol. How’s she holding up anyway?
She’s good.
Since it basically goes without saying where Maggie comes from, I’d like this WDTCF to go over her tasks. (Yes, I’m an insistent bugger.)
She comes from Marge… and Homer helped too… the end.
ROFL
He had sand in his underpants, too!
