Christmas is over but there’s still snow on the ground in Springfield! The festivities may have ended but there’s still more fun to be had…as Maggie and friends arrive in Springfield!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Pacifiers (
) to unlock each prize!
The fourth Act 3 prize awarded at 27,400 is Baby Gerald…because even Maggie needs a nemesis…
So let’s take a closer look at this fourth and final prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 27,400 you’ll automatically be awarded Baby Gerald and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place him in your Springfield Immediately or Store him in your inventory for later. Remember, if you store him you’ll have to go into your inventory to unlock him in Springfield…
Once in your Springfield you’ll see his character unlock message:
He’s part of the More Kids Character Collection:
Once in your Springfield Baby Gerald will have a questline, and it’ll start up once he’s in town..

What’s Next?
Bonus Donuts! Once you have collected the 27,400 needed for the Personal Prizes, you then will get the chance to earn some more for a Bonus Gift. Bonus Gift Rounds are 4000 . Once you reach the 4000 , the 3 Donut Box Pop Up will appear and you have a 1 in 3 chance to tap a box and get 3 Donuts. If you do not get the 3 Donuts, you can pay $150,000 to try again until you get the 3 Donuts you want.
So that my friends is the full breakdown of the fourth and final Act 3 prize!

Hard to say…they my bring him back but as a premium purchase
I just got my first round of 4000 bonus pacifiers, and when I tapped on the 3 boxes I had one box that showed two donuts, one box that showed 1 donut and the last box had $150000. It asked if I wanted to settle for two donuts and when I tapped “collect” it took $150000 of my money and I didn’t even get a chance to try again. What happened?
They made the goals a little extreme. I would say I play at least 4 times a day and I am 10k away from baby Gerald. This event seemed impossible if you didn’t check every hour.
Absolutely untrue. From a pacifiers point of view, there’s no benefit to checking in every hour over checking in every 4 hours. Since your game can accumulate up to 60 bears, it would take 5 hours for your game to max out. The only reason I said “every 4 hours” is that, if you’re using Maggie on 4-hour tasks, then you want to be sure to collect and start them on time. (Actually, unless you need her for something else, you should be sending Marge and Maggie on their joint task, for the best pacifier-earning power.) If you do that and visit at least 30 (less this time?) neighbors, then it shouldn’t be difficult to get all the prizes. (Actually, if everyone did the same thing they’d all be done in the same amount of time, since, for onces, this isn’t a situation where having certain characters can earn you more currency.)
TL:DR – Not true…do the math.

Only had to spend donuts on Patches and Violet (that 120 donuts I had to give up still urks me) played the game just like I did with the first act and somehow managed to get every other prize and bonuts. Even with the issues with act 1 I’m satisfied with this event. I’m just ready for the snow to go and to have a long enough break from events to build up a little and finally do something with Springfield heights.
The animation for the task where Gerald fights with Maggie is hilarious.
I wish that R.O.S.A would have a “revenge” on Baby Gerald, as of the new Cutscene, it would be fun 🙂
I am ready for takedown, finished everything and managed to got one round of bonuts.
Wow. Great event, just great. Don’t understand why everyone is itching so bad for level 60. So many new buildings to design, so many new characters. Just finished Jay’s quest and for the first time in a long time my task bar is empty. And the fact that right now Maggie is beating the snot out of Baby Gerald makes me one happy tapper. Kudos EA! Thank you for making up for the stink bomb that was Halloween.
Soooo not going to make it – I’m about 3000 pacifiers off (don’t know if I can do that in 14.5hrs remaining)…. Missed out on Patches & Violet too – but got everything else. I am a wee bit disappointed with this Act – loved the first two.
Got baby Gerald as well as all the prizes from this event. Also managed to get 2 rounds of bonuts from act 3. Plus finding Maggie got me 6 more donuts. Not to shabby in my opinion. Ready for what’s next.good luck to everyone else still tapping away. And a special thanks to the addicts for a wonderful site and all that they do here.IMHO half the fun of playing this game is this site.
Got him a few days ago. And got my third round of bonuts last night. In order to get a fourth I’ll need a bit of “overtime.”
I like having toddlers in Springfield now! So happy about Maggie, too! Gerald “creepy staring” at Homer has been cracking me up. EA should give him a task to have a creepy staring contest with the twins since they creepy stare all the time, too. Haven’t gotten to him brawling with Maggie yet. I’ve enjoyed this act & like that there is less to do in it, sometimes the event are overwhelming & I just stop caring by the third act.
“Ominous glare” should definitely be a 12 or 16 hour task for him, especially considering that he only has two visual tasks, both short, one of which requires Maggie.
Just noting what I think is a glitch, although it may just be my messed up game. I played Where’s Maggie today & when the timer went out it zoomed in on the white gazebo, not a listed place on your list, (not anything on you guys though) however, she wasn’t there! She wasn’t anywhere! I had 2 family members helping me look & none of us saw her on any of the roof areas where it zoomed in. I think she wasn’t actually out at all. Getting pretty bummed about the issues I’m having with it. Maybe, it’s time to e-mail EA about it all. I still don’t get the sucking sounds when I play & am still having issues with my volume in Springfield. Can’t find any help on that issue online or forums. 😢 Oh, also with the Jay/quick n fresh update all the bears in other Springfield disappeared. Am I really the only person having issues with these things?
She’s not always on the roof…did you check the stairs of the gazebo? And, yes…no one has any bears in Other Springfield right now.
i’m at 23500 (ish) pacifiers.. =/ I wont make it. Sad cause i’m a daily player. Got everything else during the event.
You’re close, when the update comes DONT UPDATE, it will take a few days to force you to update, and that might be all the difference

I got my 4000th pacifier for bonuts while in a friends town, came to my town, and received back to back boxes, for 6 total bonuts. Anyone else have this glitch?

Are you sure you didn’t have a coincidental XP level up at the same time?
I was able to get the double bonuts twice, so definitely a glitch and not a xp level up.

I love the task where he fights with Maggie. It’s disturbingly funny.
I think this third act is terrible. I would rather have an actual christmas 3rd act that ended december 31st than a completely random act with no connection to the first 2 dragging on well into january.
This event was clearly labeled, in-game, as the Winter event. The third act, starting on January second and being all about babies, is celebrating the New Year.
For those who still insist that there just has to be some connection to the previous holiday, here you go: “May joy come to you, and to you your wassail, too, and God bless you and send you a Happy New Year, and God send you a Happy New Year.”
Act 2/Winter 2015 did end right near the date you wanted. That we got a bonus mini-event immediately following it is a cool deal. I don’t see the reason to be upset about it. No much needed break between “events”? I do agree on that.
Yeah this third act was boring, just tapping bears. They could have at least given out currency for that massive long quest chain.
I zoned out after the 2nd prize and just log in once per day to collect cash and exp.
I liked it! It had a nice relaxing pace, which was a nice break, and some really good prizes!
I was expecting Rosa to become “active” during Gerald’s quest line. So, I guess she’s just another NPC? Not complaining, just thought she’d get a set of tasks.
