Honestly, this is a great buy. Offers a better bonus % than the Jet Engine Bike and at a lower cost. If you’re looking to spend some donuts on a decoration with a great bonus % return on your cash and XP, this is it.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell I’ll be picking this one up. However, this IS a limited-time item. So if you’re thinking about getting it make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games on February 4th.

This is a great choice when it comes to the % bonus for how much it costs. Plus it is a monument to one of the most epic episodes of the entire series.
There’s really no point buying any decorations to increase percentage of town as surely everybody’s is big enough already!? With wailing walls and tennis courts plus the fact the mystery box and now the rocket regularly give out things that increase percentage then I’d rather spend my hard earned donuts on characters.

Not to discount Alissa’s break down or anything, but do longtime players really care about the bonus percent anymore? For anyone who took advantage of the tennis courts and wailing walls, I can’t imagine a 2.75% bonus being that tempting. I know I don’t use the bonus percent as a reason to buy anything anymore, I basically just buy it if I like it 🙂 But I’m sure newer players appreciate any bonus they can get.

I’ll probably buy a couple of them as well as some of the other premium items at some point before they’re gone from the store. When do you think we will get a new update such as a level or a Gil deal with a new item? It’s been almost 3 months since we have a new level and I really want a new level.
Off topic…..does anyone else think it’s weird that we haven’t received level 60 yet? It’s been the longest time since level 59 was launched. I really thought we were going to get level 60 last week, and here we are….still no level 60.
it has been quite a while, but considering all the stuff that’s been going on the past few months, i can’t say that it’s weird, nor can i really complain about it when we’ve been getting tons of new/cool content.
the only reason i really want a level up is so i can activate my xp collider and convert some of this 40+ mil of in-game cash into donuts. otherwise, it’s not a big deal for me.
I agree with you. I’ve been wanting to use the XP collider too.
If only there was a way to turn in game cash to donuts I’d be in !! Besides just buying land to turn my town around I don’t know what else to use my game cash for at the moment. I still have a few aspirational items I want, I just need to figure out where to put them first.

Nowadays you will wanna buy rat trap trucks instead of bloodmobiles due to the higher xp per, and probably even activate the xp collider for 24hrs before doing so to maximize your donut return.
There is a new glitch. If you store the launch platform, you can place another from the event shop! So you have two platforms (only one will have the rocket)

Well I found another glitch. Stored the second one to see if I could have both stores and now it only sees one and I lost the rocket off it. That would be disappointing if I can launch the rocket anymore. Any suggestions?
I bought one and it ended up in my film lot next to the Radioactive Man statue, I think it looks great there.
Meh, Wailing walls give me well over 200%, not worried about the multiplier anymore. Off topic sorta, I keep having my rocket saying debris was left in my inventory, but there’s only one piece of each, doesn’t it leave it more than once? I want more radiation cannisters. I did manage to get the Kodos Topiary somehow, but all else has said debris even though only left once in my inventory.
There appears to be a bug with it where it’s only awarded once. I believe EA’s working on a patch for it..

Tempted to buy this just because I like it. Thanks to the Halloween event that allowed us to craft the wall that pays out %, I no longer have to justify a donut spend with getting a good % payback.
that’s why i bought it… because i liked it, and because of its significance to the episode this event was based on. the nice bonus was just gravy.

My take is, if you’re a premium player, get it. If you’re a freemium player that wasn’t around for the wailing walls and/or tennis courts, get it. But for me, a mostly freemium player who stocked up on wailing walls and tennis courts and is satisfied with my 230+% bonus multiplier, I’d rather save my precious sprinklies for something else.
I am in the same boat with 227% so don`t need the bonus. But I am so far behind in building placement and design from past events that I need to put my time there instead. I like it and it would fit in well somewhere, but I will save my sugar.
my take is like any other item in this game…. if YOU really want it, and YOU think it’s worth the donuts for whatever reason, then get it and have no regrets.
for me personally, this was an insta-buy. the item is central to one of the most classic episodes, and it’s just 30 donuts. the bonus is just… well, a bonus!
Agreed, I probably would have bought this (as a freemium player) even without the bonus % because I love the episode. However the bonus percentage is just a nice little extra.
I will be getting the rod, thanks for the breakdown. On a side note, I was unable to assign an 8 hr job to Skinner (Drinking at Moe’s). Is this in relation to the Desmond quest line? Just never had a task disappear before. Thanks anyone. :0

It must be. Same thing happened to me during that questline. It fixed after, but I had also stored the school afterwards.
Am I the only one this is happening to? About a day ago, I stopped being able to launch TSTO on my Android phone. What would happen is the initial logo would come up, then the screen would go black. I’ve tried force-killing it, uninstalling it, and reinstalling it, and this still happens.
Fortunately, my Kindle Fire is unaffected and I can still launch the game just fine over there, though it only works when I’m on Wi-Fi instead of always being available like the phone.
Do you have your wifi on? Sometimes when I play without my wifi on, it takes forever to load, the screen goes black for a good 30-60 secs, but if wifi is on it loads on spot

yup, i have this happen to me as well, and it’s just as Jnet01 says. for whatever reason, it sometimes takes a while to load the login screen when you are using data. it’s not a new bug, as i experienced it a lot in 2015 (i have lte, and prefer using data when i’m using my phone), but it had gone away for a bit, and now it appears to be back. just let the screen sit black for a while, and eventually it will go through to the login screen.
