As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. just wanted to acknowledge all the awesome submissions! some really creative work, especially combining different buildings together. alissa i apologize about clamoring for a showoff and not submitting one myself… just was too busy this week to get one in by wednesday.
Always interesting to see how others utilize their items and space. Some really cool ideas, here, makes me wish I had more space near my oceanfront to expand.

Two questions
1) How did some players get a second launch tower?
2) I see some of the shuttle hangers have a see-through top. How do you do that?
It was a glitch that’s since been fixed. Temporarily allowed players to get a second platform.
It’s the animation for it.

The task bar, the one that shows your XP and money, etc. The only wayi know how to take a screen shot is to swipe my hand across the screen and as soon as I touch it all that stuff pops up
i have the S6 but I just hold the power and home button at the same time and it works for a screenshot
I think some people go to the “move” menu (the 4-way arrow) and select a piece of road away from what you want to screenshot. The road piece will stay selected but you can scroll to your desired area and proceed with the screenshot as you normally would.

Me too!! Let the rant commence. 😉 I hear that flickr didn’t use to be that way. Well, all I know is the now. Now they try to hide the images behind walls of HTML (DIVs and CSS trickery). It is a little easier to get the images if they are shared properly. To me they’re always difficult. I have an easier time looking at the page source and searching for the IMG tag. lol. (But I’m a nutty fellow who always prefers source over click-click-tap-menu-click-shoot.) My biggest issue isn’t even about trying to “steal” the images. It’s just about trying to view them. Flickr wants me to click, then wait, to hope that a higher resolution image will display. But it doesn’t even tell me that it’s on it’s way. And with an internet that is not from the future, sometimes the wait is in vain. I don’t see what’s so wrong with keeping things simple, letting us do as we wish. As has been demonstrated, it doesn’t even stop people, just those that can’t be bothered or that don’t know how to “hack”. 😉 If they want to get all complex as they have, providing feedback is important. Yes, this should be addressed to them (it’s not for you Alissa). But I only care because Addicts uses flickr, and therefore I am forced to also use it whenever I see something cool that someone is sharing. (Thanks for posting them directly in your page and not flickr, BTW!!) Otherwise I try and avoid the place. /rant over
I felt like the image that lots seemed to love was worth my effort. (It even crashed my browser at one point. flickr or the image or the “hacking”, I dunno. but it’s all better now.) I liked it a bit, too.
I agree, IMO it’s the best one by several lengths, not to denigrate the others, but this one just goes above and beyond with creative use of materials and the amount of thought put into it. Thanks for your effort Simp.
I want to judge who had the best one, but it’s easier to go with what’s popular. 😉 My town would not win. All the entries here beat me, so they’re ALL winners. No denigration should be implied if we like one over another. The only person who should feel denigrated is me. But I’m fine with that. 😛

Thanks so much! I thought that by using the monorail station is would make my airport tie better into the town, plus it looks like a terminal, so that helps a lot.
