Gil arrived in Springfield yesterday and this time was pushing his Big Game Tailgate on us! The Tailgate comes with a fun little questline to get the citizens of Springfield into the football spirit.
So let’s take a look at the questline and see how the residents of Springfield will be celebrating the Big Game…

Make Homer Dance for the Cause- 4hrs, Earns $260, 70xp

Reach Level 20 and Build the Town Hall
Make Quimby Negotiate with The League- 2hrs, Earns $110, 27xp
Springfield of Dreams Pt. 4
Auto starts
Make Springfielders Party in Consolation- x3. 12hrs, Earns $600, 150xp freemium and premium
Springfield of Dreams Pt. 5
Homer starts
Make Homer Dance at The Tailgate- 4hrs, Earns $260, 70xp. (unlocks only after you’ve fully upgraded the tailgate)
And that completes the Tailgate questline!

This has come back for Homerpalooza with a 100 doughnut rebate. Does anyone know if it can still be levelled up please? Is it worth buying?
I just got it and I’ve been able to level up. I’m up to level 3, working on level 4 now. Reading through the older comments, I hope I don’t have any problems where I get stuck too. But so far, so good.
As for worth, it depends. If you like the look, I’d say buy it. You can get better multipliers for less donuts, so don’t buy it solely for the bonus.

My tailgate stuck I’ve completed level 2 and it says done but I can’t go any further I can send people there but it won’t upgrade and go up any more levels so it can’t be completed
My tailgate seems to be stuck at Level 3 but I completed the tasks for Level 4. Even says 5/5 Done! Help!
I liked so I got it. Goes well with tapball. I’ll make a space for it in my sports area.
I recently got back into TSTO and regret leaving. I was only lv 10 (Now I’m level 16) and I spent all my donuts beforehand. Now I only have 18, so I wouldn’t be able to afford it even if I wanted to (Which I don’t). Still don’t know what to save up for.
I think Luann and the Cracker Factory are a pretty good buy, and I’m currently saving up for Barney — but if you’re only at level 16, you probably shouldn’t even be thinking about donut spending quite yet. Rather, I’d suggest that you consider focusing on house farming before the level-up multipliers hit you, making house purchases much more expensive. House farming will allow you to level up faster, and leveling up faster means more opportunities for bonus donuts *and* more characters to perform tasks during events.

Buy it !!! I did & I’ve already gotten 42 donuts back in just doing the daily challenges. Gave me 6 Donuts after Homer’s 6 second job& 10 Donuts 4 the next challenge that was 1 hour. Plus, you get donuts every week when your done. This week it’s 6 Donuts. It may be expensive but you do get all your donuts back eventually. It’s like the rail yard where I get 5 donuts a week. It adds up

I’m a little surprised they didn’t make the characters available separately. They’ve done that with so many other events.

As of right now, yes.
Indeed, very expensive. However, I had 90 donuts balance, bought 3 golden scratch tickets, nailed a jackpot (3 axes) and two consecutive 20 donut payouts (3 hammers) and walked away with a total balance of 230 donuts… So I caved and bought it. Not my finest hour, but maybe one of my luckiest. I’ll admit, I’m hating the price increase on donut packages and golden scratchies, especially with the Canadian dollar pooping its pants lately, but I’m a Premium Content Junkie. I buy virtually everything in hopes I will be able to build the ultimate Springfield. I’ve recently blown up my Springfield and am in the process of rebuilding it all to scale, as close as I remember it anyway.
The episode: “What Animated Women Want” gives you a decent look at Springfield as an entire town, including where The Swanky Fish resides on the map (other episodes will give you insight as well). Two things I’m missing that I yearn to get are: Bob’s Victorian House (snubbed on being able to buy that one. Thank you magically disappearing Premium Items and foolishly short times to buy them) AND my Springfield Falls… Which, was never ever credited to my inventory when the Whacking Day Event was on years ago.
Both sting… Deeply. ☹️
It is expensive. I think they are countering that fact by introducing the daily challenges with the donut prizes.
I don’t know if anyone else is having problems but I can’t get on the game. After the fox screen it goes black. I did try forcing the app to close and restarted my tablet but no luck.
I get that on my phone a lot (S5) It’s usually due to your Internet connection. Leave it for about 2 minutes, and it should come on.
I love it. It goes great in my sportspark. It really ties the area together.
Would have been so awesome as a limited time inspirational. I mean it’s cool and I really want it but for donuts let alone that much… No thanks. Would have been fun if it was similar like the money mountain where you upgrade it with a costume at the end or something.
yes its bad…..really disapointed no other characters are in it when u send them there. not like the picture shows it anyways. talk about bait and switch
I placed it in the only space it could fit at the time, I spent a lot longer finding a space than I spent considering whether I should spend that many donuts.
Don’t know where it will end up for a permanent home, ….I don’t have any stadiums (or is the plural stadia) …..did consider building my own temporary stadium from tap-ball parts (just for this weekend) till I saw the price of goal posts

2016 – more ways to earn donuts, less interesting things to do!
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Valentine’s Day Event started on Monday, right after the Super Bowl’s over and the tailgate/football stuff is retired. But given that it’s only another week until Valentine’s, I suspect it will be a 2-week mini-event on par with Deep Space Homer and/or last Thanksgiving.
I agree, too many donuts.. I would rather wait and see if they bring anything new and fun out for Valentine’s Day and spend my donuts on that instead. Maybe one of my neighbours will buy it and I will be able to see it in their town. 🙂

Nah, I think the Mansarno Buildings from the Terwilligers event are uglier.
It goes so well with the farmers market. I now look like i have a decent sized market and the backward car tones right in with my carpark zone
Neducation center is far worse. The angel is bleh. Kang topiary looks blocky. There are several buildings just out of scale. I think it works pretty well actually.
