Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The Valentine’s Day mini event hit our Springfield’s recently and with it arrive a whole bunch (of a couple) of Valentine’s Day themed prizes for our Springfields!
This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the first 5 parts of The Golden Age of Swingers you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part. The second prize you’ll earn is the lovely flower cart…and when you reach Prize 4 you’ll unlock the Starline Commander..Grampa’s classic car!
So let’s take a look at these two prizes and just what happens when you’ve unlocked them in your Springfield
Once you’ve completed The Golden Age of Swingers Pt. 2 and successfully earned the 8 you’ll automatically be awarded the Lovely Flower Cart and you’ll see this message popup:
You can place it in your Springfield or store it in your inventory for later. Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it later.
Really, it’s just a decoration. It was available during past Valentine’s Day Events…and I’m sure it’ll be available in future ones. (it was free in the past too) Nothing really special about it. It’ll boost vanity +100. No one will use it and it won’t be animated.
Now onto a more exciting decoration prize….once you’ve completed The Golden Age of Swingers Pt. 4 you’ll be awarded the Starline Commander!
You’ll need 12 for the Commander to unlock, and once you’ve unlocked it you’ll see this message popup:
You can place it in your Springfield or store it in your inventory for later. Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it later. And I recommend placing it right away because you’ll need it to complete Part 5…
Anyway here are some quick facts about the Starline Commander:
Decoration: Starline Commander
Size: 6×3
Earns: Nothing. It’s a freemium decoration. No bonus % and no hourly payout.
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +20
Where Can I Place It?: Grass/Pavement/Boardwalk/ Beach
Will Characters Have Tasks There?: Not really. Grampa has a task there during the questline for Mona, but that’s about it. Once that’s complete it won’t be used. However, it will be animated when tapped. Engine revs and exhaust comes out of the, well, exhaust.
And that’s it on the Lovely Flower Cart and Starline Commander!

With this new update I thought that the old updates should be gone. Marge and Miss Hoover still have ‘narobics’ at the top of their task lists. I completed the questlines. Is there something I’m missing or what else do I need to do to get rid of it? Thanks
Thuis happend from time to time when an event ends. At some point EA will rectify this.

Has anyone tried the road trick with this car? If so, did it work? Right now, I have it on some pavement, but I’m wondering if I could put it on the road…

I actually tried it right after I posted it and it didn’t work, but part of the reason I posted that question was that I wasn’t 100% sure I remembered how I did it before. I didn’t get it to work, but I was still glad I asked, in case I didn’t remember correctly.

I tucked Mona into inventory but now when I go into the inventory she is completely gone
I did it, too. Don’t look in the character tab. When you open the inventory just scroll right, the “main” inventory, no tabs. Keep going, she’ll be near the end of the inventory. Not sure how full yours is, but mine is pretty full, so took a while to get back there.

I’m only 2 tasks into Mona’s quest line but if she doesn’t have a permanent joint task with Homer I’m gonna be very upset ☹️
Hi. For some reason for the past day or so Maggie hasn’t made a sucking noise when playing the minigame. If I manage to find her anyway I still get the cash/bonuts, but it’s a lot harder. Anyone else had this?
Yeah I’ve been having some sound issue. She’ll make some noise when I’m not exactly near her, then I’ll search around and when I see he there will be no noise.
I had it once. The audio is truncated very soon during suckling. Nearly could not find her and heart rate increases!
I have found that the monorail sounds trump the sucking sound. Also- you may not hear the sucking sound if you scroll around too quickly. Remember- it’s not a continuous sucking sound. It’s intermittent. I hope this makes sense.
Happy to have another cart for my Boardwalk.

After you unlock mona you’ll get the option to buy her
I unlocked Mona about 24 hours ago and still no Maude? What am I missing?

More cars for Springfield the better!
I have a question that isn’t about this but I don’t know where to post it at. I’m debating if I want to re do my town since it’s not how I like it at the moment. So I wanted to start fresh in redecorating my town. But if I decide to put everything in storage will it get rid of the land I already opened or is it just putting everything away that is out? If someone could be so kind to answer my question that would be great. Thanks!
Land bought is yours. You can’t store land, so it stays as is.

I checked the characters and she’s not there
I got Mona today, was so excited but quickly bummed when I heard Homer’s “Hey Youuu, anyone know who that is?” :/ what a horrid start to the joy of joys of the idea of a Mother being reunited with her son. But she has more important people to quest with, Maude and Grandpa. I’d rather a glitch with a cut scene of Maggie getting sunscreen again :p
I know, I hardly ever have the sound on (listening to Pink Floyd at the moment and the last thing I want to hear is Cletus screaming “Woo-hoo”. Yet I forgot to turn it off and it says the same thing. Just weird
He says that for every character you unlock or buy. I wasn’t surprised. It kind of amused me, honestly.
The Starline Commander is my new favorite vehicle in the game now. It looks very cool next to the Coconut Babloo.
For some reason I have a bunch of those carts, don’t remember buying them. The car is cool but not as cool as Mona! 2 hours to go then she’ll be mine

Got Mona earlier today, Didn’t even make it to valentines. I guess bring on the next event.
Got Mona this morning! Loved the entire questline for VD. Now just waiting for the Maude character to unlock with Mona. Super stoked!! Hope everyone has an amazing Valentine’s Day with their significant others!!!
I like the car. Already had too many flower carts from a previous year, though, no use for another one.
The Valentine quest this year is kinda lame, IMO. Great conclusion, but pales in comparison from last year.
I think it’s a great little quest. Not too long, and some great prizes.
